He's dumb, yet sweet, kind, and insanely athletic.
People call him your typical himbo.
Rumors had it that he's completely a mama's boy, someone who doesn't know the difference between their, they're, and there, a man who has just one braincell that ticks around his head like the dvd logo bouncing around the screen and only get used on sports.
Ah yes, sports. The only thing he's extremely smart at.
Other than being street smart, he's body smart also. That's why he's being passed around by sports team in his University and also being gatekept by the clubs.
The baseball club needs a batter? On it. The basketball club had their ace sick? Don't worry, the mvp is here. The badminton team needs a pair for the doubles? Sure, just make sure to let him bring his own racket. Fencing club lacks one person for a complete sparring session? Uh, he hasn't tried fencing yet, but he will still master it immediately.
So because everything in his peanut brain gets squeezed onto sports, his academics isn't really the best...
Yet, his athlete scholarship made him stay afloat in the University. Plus he's the adorable kind of dumb, so everyone loved him.
If you try to tell him that he's a himbo, he would take it as an offense and would yell at you with the biggest pout and puppy dog eyes that he's not a himbo!
Oh, sweet summer child he is.
Everyone liked to watch this big, buff puppy play around with a smile on his face.
But not the Dean of his college. I mean, he's an athlete scholar, that's for sure, but he's still in Education! He needs to do better in his studies if he wants to be a teacher in the future!
And no! Damon cannot just cluelessly tilt his head to the side!
While Damon pouted, the dean called for you.
You're the candidate magna cum laude in your batch. Smart as you are, you buried your nose in books and notes as you studied to become a teacher, but lacked the confidence and charisma to be an effective one.
So the Dean thought this would be the perfect synergy. Damon's personality would rub on you, while your braincells will rub on his.
It was perfect.
And while you stood there with your eyes downcast, Damon's eyes widened as he stared at you.
It was love at first sight.

You and Damon are in the library now, studying for the upcoming retake that Damon needs to take. But despite being here in the library for two hours, he still hasn't improved at all!
You stood up and glanced around, trying to see more books to use for studying. One preferably understandable for ding dongs like him.
Maybe a children's picture book of CPE 102 was needed for this guy.
You were harsh yet also patient with Damon, something he really likes. If he had a tail right now, it would wag rapidly to the point he'll break a bone in it.
All his thoughts is filled with you and you. The back of his notebook is scribbled with your name and his encased in a heart, crude drawings of you and him holding hands, or a silly children's game where he does a compatibility test using both of your names.
Neverminded that the test always ends up at "enemies" or "strangers", no no no... He won't accept it.
So these tests had large scribble marks all over him as words filled with rage about how the tests are lies are inked there.
And while Damon swung his feet while scribbling your and his future children's (yes, plural) names, he suddenly wondered where you are.
He got off his seat and walked around until he found you.
"Y/n--!"
He stopped dead in his tracks.
He felt shivers run down his spine.
There you where, smiling and bantering with an another man. Amicably talking to each other like you were the best of pals.
Damon recognized him from your class records (don't question why he knew your class records, he swears he's just doing research). Jupiter was his name, oddly enough. He's also a candidate magna cum laude and your study buddy. He's naturally gifted in academics and so does in his looks.
So when Damon saw how your eyes sparkled while talking to that guy...
He felt his façade crack.
Jupiter ran quickly across the lit yet empty rugby field in his University. Everyone was out for the school day since it was already 10pm.
How did Jupiter end up running away frantically with his clothes sticking on his body due to sweat?
It would be because of a masked man chasing him, power walking towards him with a metal baseball bat in hand. Jupiter can't see his face, but knew he's absolutely huge.
Jupiter ran as quickly as he can, but his body can't keep up. His legs weakened and his knee started to hurt as he heaved quickly. His vision swimming as he tried to run across and away from the man.
He's academic for god's sake! Physical activities are his mortal enemy!
As he cursed his hatred away, Jupiter tripped on a rock and rolled forward. His knee also finally gave up and is now hurting a lot.
Jupiter tried to scream for help, but all he could do is bite his lip as he held his poor knee.
Not until the man got close and clubbed him on that knee, making Jupiter scream in agony.
"AAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
That night, Jupiter's scream echoed throughout the empty rugby field and the sound of a hard object hitting a body. Then,
SQUELCH!
CRACK!
Then silence.
The masked man looked at the bloodied mess and chuckled. His small giggle turning into a full blown laughter as he tried to suppress it.
Damon grabbed a sharpie from his back pocket and scribbled on Jupiter's mangled body. His back, which is still somehow smooth, now contained your nickname and Damon's.
He's doing the compatibility test again.
"Soulmates! Oh my god!" Damon screamed in happiness. "Finally! Oh this is great! I shouldn't have doubted the test!"
Damon danced around Jupiter's body like he's not dead. Then, he kicked Jupiter's body. And kicked it. And kicked it. And kicked it more.
"Tch. You think you can smile at my soulmate like that? Think again buckaroo." Damon whispered, dropping his himbo jock persona.
This man had a sharp, intelligent look in his eyes. One that does not hold innocent curiosity, only a morbid bloodthirst.
This was the real Damon.
"Fuck. This dumb himbo persona is fucking me up. All I could do is put all my frustrations on sports." Damon spat out and kicked Jupiter's body towards his expensive truck. "I'm sick and tired of being labeled like that."
Then, he remembered your face. How he caught you staring at him with fondness as he acted dumb and cute.
He shivered.
"Maybe I'll continue to do this persona. Fuck. If only my parents would leave me be after that incident, then I won't have to do this."
Once Damon placed Jupiter's body on his truck, he started to clean the field with ease.
This wasn't his first kill after all.
He's always been twisted since he's a kid. But was forced to hide it due to his parents finding out he killed his cat with his own two hands with a smile on his face.
A trip to rehab, and he adopted this persona.
He slammed his truck close and drove away, humming and thanking that the University security cameras are broken.
He would kill more if necessary.
He's not afraid to dirty his hands. If ever, he loved it.
He looked at a picture of you and him in his dashboard. The picture was you smiling widely to the camera with a blushing Damon on the side, a test paper raised. It had full marks.
He kissed his finger and placed that finger on your lips.

🎳 Wii Sports is back!! 🎾
Nintendo hosted a Nintendo Direct today that wrapped up just a few minutes ago. There were some cool announcements for games like No Man's Sky, Mario Strikers: Battle League, Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Xenoblade Chronicles 3, but the game that stood out the most to me was Nintendo Switch Sports, a casual sports compilation game with JoyCon motion controls. If you played the Wii growing up like I did, it should sound familiar to you.
As the name and logo implies, it's the next entry in the Wii Sports series, something I've been waiting ages for. After the mixed bag that was Wii Sports Club on the Wii U, I thought the odds of the series returning were very unlikely and I'm glad I was wrong. We don't know much about the game yet, but it appears to take place in an urban sports complex called Spocco Square. Wii Sports Resort took place on Wuhu Island, so this is an interesting change of scenery for the series that's similar to the sports complex environments we saw in the original game.
The game includes six different sports with an additional sport coming later via an update. I've never been a big fan of Nintendo's updates to games since it's usually very obvious that the updates comprise of cut content from the initial retail version of the game in question. This is done in order to create an artificial surge of returning players to the game later down the road to appease investors. Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch Sports seems to be the latest Nintendo title to dabble in this practice as Golf won't be included until the update for it releases this fall. I'm glad to see Golf return, but having to wait until the end of the year to play it is pretty disappointing, even with the update being free.
That being said though, the rest of the sports on offer included day one look solid. They all involve using classic Wii inspired gestures with the JoyCon to play, which the trailer showcases. Soccer looks really interesting, taking a bit of inspiration from Rocket League with giant goals and a giant ball to kick around. You can actually kick your real leg in the Shootout mode with the included JoyCon leg strap. It comes bundled with physical copies of the game and I like the idea a lot. Unfortunately though, leg controls for the full version of Soccer are coming post release via updates just like Golf. That being said, I'm interested about how the game will control with kicking when it releases and it looks like a good workout, even with just the Shootout mode.
A few classics from Wii Sports make their return to this game; Bowling and Tennis from the first game, and Chambara (formerly known as Swordplay) from Wii Sports Resort. They seem to control similar to how they used to, and look amazing with the new high resolution visuals. Just like Wii Sports Club, you can play any of the sports online with friends or random players through matchmaking. The game features skill-based matchmaking which will pair you with opponents similar to your skill level which sounds good, but I'm a bit worried. Games such as Call of Duty and Fortnite feature similar matchmaking systems, and Nintendo Switch Sports might make things too competitive for what's supposed to be a casual, laid-back sports experience. I hope that fun is still the focus while playing online with random players.
A few new sports are making their debut in the series as well. These are the aforementioned Soccer, Badminton and Volleyball. They seem to share a lot in common with Tennis in terms of control, and while I do miss Baseball and Boxing, these new sports look pretty fun. The retail price for this game was not revealed during the trailer unfortunately, but I've got a feeling it will go for $60. $10 per sport is a bit steep, so hopefully it will be lower than that, but only time will tell.
Luckily though, there is an online test event happening next weekend for Nintendo Switch Online members allowing us to try out a preview the game out for free. While it's limited to three sports and matchmaking only, I'm still eager to give the game a try. I'll make a follow-up post on my thoughts of the game if I get selected for it and if you're interested in trying the game yourself, visit the website here and mark that date on your calendar. I'm also glad to see Miis return to the game. They won't populate the world around you like the old games but they are selectable as your in-game avatar. Fingers crossed that they add the make-up features from Miitopia, those really deserve another chance to shine.
Overall, while there are some things about Nintendo Switch Sports that worry me a bit, I think the package overall looks pretty good. I've been dying for a casual sports game with motion controls to fill the void playing Wii Sports left me with all those years ago. It looks like that void will finally be filled once Nintendo Switch Sports releases. The game is coming out April 29, 2022. I hope I make the cut for the online test weekend as I'm very eager to try it and give my thoughts before it releases. If not, it's going to be a day one purchase for me regardless and I have plenty of things in store to post about so stay tuned for those. What was your favorite announcement from the Nintendo Direct? “Varric always has a good feeling about the group competition,” Hawke says under her breath to Fenris, who snorts dryly.
“You should try them on! Oh dear, I hope I’ve gotten the size right.”
Hawke drops her bag on the floor by the bench where Aveline and Isabela are sitting and bickering, and gives Merrill’s arm a squeeze. “I’ll go put mine on right now, but I’m sure it’s perfect.”
She glances back at Fenris, belatedly realizing that he’s apparently taken Merrill’s suggestion as an urgent one, and has peeled off the shirt he arrived in, dropping it on top of his bag. He’s now staring critically at the new jersey in his hands, his name on the back much like Hawke’s is on hers.
She’s rooted in place.
Despite trying to exercise every modicum of self-control she has, her eyes wander from his lean, finely chiseled chest to his defined abdomen to the indentations inside of his hip bones, the tops of which she can see above the waistband of his shorts. And his neck, his beautiful neck, rising from broad and muscled shoulders – her breath catches in her throat. All inlaid with the pale twisting design of the tattoos, which she now knows weren’t his choice, but that are hauntingly beautiful all the same.
All she can think in that moment, blood pounding in her ears, is, Holy shit.

Die Mitglieder des IOC entschieden am 7. September 2013 in
Buenos Aires über den Austragungsort der Olympischen Spiele 2020. In der ersten
Wahlrunde erreichte Tokio 42 Stimmen. Zwischen Madrid und Istanbul gab es einen
Gleichstand von 26:26 Stimmen. Eine Stichwahl (49:45 Stimmen) entschied, dass
Istanbul in die Endabstimmung kam. Dort erhielt Tokio 60 Stimmen (Istanbul 36).

Wie liegen die Wettkampfstätten
Die meisten Wettbewerbe sollen innerhalb von acht Kilometern um das olympische Dorf ausgetragen werden. Badminton, Bahnradfahren, Basketball, Fechten, die Fußballspiele, Golf, der Moderne Fünfkampf, die Mountainbikewettbewerbe, Reiten, Ringen, Rugby, Schießen, Segeln und Taekwondo, fänden außerhalb dieses Bereiches statt.
Innerhalb des 8-km-Radius sollen sich die Sportstätten auf die Heritage Zone im Norden (u. a. mit dem Olympiastadion; Sportarten: Leichtathletik, Tischtennis, Handball, Judo, die Straßenradrennen, Gewichtheben und Boxen) und die Tokyo Bay Zone im Süden (u. a. mit dem Medienzentrum; Sportarten: Volleyball, BMX, Turnen, Tennis, Triathlon, Marathon, Beach Volleyball, Hockey, Reitsport, Rudern, Kanu, Bogenschießen und Schwimmsport) aufteilen.
Golf, wann und wer
Vom 30.07 bis 02.08. und vom 05.08. bis 08.08.2020 finden die beiden Veranstaltungen im Golf statt. Als erstes werden die Herren auf Birdiejagd gehen. Die offizielle Golf Seite zu den Spielen ist auch bereits online und steht in Englisch zur Verfügung. Die Qualifikation erfolgt über die Golfweltrangliste. Bei den Männern ist der Stichtag der 22. Juni 2020 und bei den Frauen der 29. Juni 2020. Es qualifizieren sich pro Geschlecht jeweils 60 Spieler. Die 15 Bestplatzierten pro Geschlecht qualifizieren sich.
Dabei dürfen pro Geschlecht maximal vier Golfer pro Nation sich über diesen Weg qualifizieren. Die restlichen Quotenplätze werden an die bestplatzierten Athleten vergeben, deren Nation noch keine zwei Golfer stellt, über diesen Weg darf jede Nation maximal zwei Athleten stellen. Die International Golf Federation hat zudem Japan als Gastgebernation einen Startplatz zugesprochen. Des Weiteren erhält jeder Kontinent (Afrika, Amerika, Asien, Europa und Ozeanien) einen Quotenplatz. Hier kann man immer den aktuellen Stand des Ranking einsehen.
Wo wird in Japan Golf gespielt
Gastgeber ist der Kasumigaseki Country Club in der japanischen Metropole. Übrigens bis 2018 durften dort Frauen kein Vollmitglied werden, das änderte sich im letzten Jahr auf Druck des IOC´s
Auf Druck des Internationalen Olympischen Komitees (IOC) hat der gastgebende Klub des olympischen Golfturniers 2020 in Tokio erstmals Frauen als volle Mitglieder aufgenommen. „Nach der Änderung unserer Regeln haben wir unsere Mitglieder gefragt, ob sie eine volle Mitgliedschaft erwerben wollen. Drei Frauen haben daraufhin erklärt, ihren Status ändern zu wollen“, sagte Hiroshi Imaizumi, der General Manager des Kasumigaseki Country Club in der japanischen Metropole.
Bis zum vergangenen Jahr war es Frauen in dem privaten Klub nicht möglich, eine solche volle Mitgliedschaft zu erhalten. Damit war es ihnen auch nicht gestattet, an bestimmten Sonntagen auf dem Platz zu spielen.
Nachdem der Country Club die Zusage für die Ausrichtung des olympischen Turniers in zwei Jahren erhalten hatte, übte das IOC Druck aus. IOC-Präsident Thomas Bach drohte sogar, die Turniere für Männer und Frauen an einen anderen Klub zu vergeben, wenn die Diskriminierung nicht aufgehoben werde.
Der
Kasumigaseki Country Club wurde am 6. Oktober 1929 eröffnet und war der
erste Golfplatz in Saitama. Er verfügt über einen Ost- und einen Westkurs. Der
Ostkurs wurde von Kinya Fujita, Shiro Akaboshi und Charles H. Alison gestaltet.

Die Anlage wurde schon als Austragungsort für internationale
Golfturniere benutzt, so wurde hier 1957 der World Cup ausgetragen. Viermal fanden hier
auch die Japan Open Golf Championships statt (1933, 1956, 1995 und 2006).
Außerdem wurden auf dem Golfplatz die Asian Amateur Championship 2010
ausgetragen.
Im November 2017 traf sich der US-amerikanische Präsident Donald Trump mit dem japanischen Premierminister Shinzō Abe im Kasumigaseki Country Club. Der Ostkurs ist ein Par 71 und 6514 Yards lang und der Westkurs ist ein Par 73 und 6580 Yards lang.
Spielform für die
Damen und Herren
Das Zählspiel (englisch „Stroke Play“ oder „Medal Play“) ist eine Spielform im Golf, die im Jahr 1759 in St Andrews erstmals urkundlich erwähnt wurde. Beim Zählspiel gewinnt der Spieler mit der niedrigsten Schlagzahl („Score“) über die festgesetzten Runden das Wettspiel. Normalerweise besteht eine Runde aus 18 Loch, seit 2006 sind auch Neun-Loch-Runden möglich.
Die meisten Profiturniere bestehen aus vier Runden, die von Donnerstag bis Sonntag gespielt werden. Amateurwettspiele gehen normalerweise nur über eine Runde, jedoch wird die Clubmeisterschaft in den meisten Golfclubs über mehrere Tage und Runden ausgetragen.
Ich werde in den nächsten 13 Monaten einmal im Monat etwas zum Golfturnier bei Olympia 2020 schreiben und die Serie mit dem Turnier der Damen abschließen. So seit Ihr immer auf dem aktuellen Stand was das Golfturnier betrifft.

built a riser so the chair could sit a little higher
added a few colorful chairs and used some left over orange to brighten up the old picnic table!

Tepat Sabtu (22/08). Pondok Pesantren Annur Darunnajah 8 Cidokom membuka acara PORSENI yakni Pekan Olahraga dan Seni. Porseni ini merupakan rincian dari acara KA (Khutbatul ‘Arsy). Upacara Pembukaan PORSENI dilaksanakan sore hari di Lapangan Istanbul bagi santri putri, dan di Lapangan Palestin bagi santri putra. Acara ini melibatkan kreatifitas, ketangkasan dan kekompakan santri.
Lokasi lomba disebar di wilayah pondok, sehingga rapi dan teratur, juga agar semua santri bisa menyaksikan keseruan perlombaan. Lomba dimulai setelah Upacara Pembukaan PORSENI yang dilanjutkan dengan pembagian grup. Grup dibentuk berdasarkan kamar atau asrama dan club ekstrakulikuler yang diikuti. Dan yang berlaku sebagai juri adalah Ustadz/Ustadzah pembimbing ekstrakulikuler dan Kelas 6 (pengurus OSANDN).

Porseni adalah ajang peningkatan bakat santri dalam bidang olahraga dan seni. Perlombaan telah disusun dengan sistematis oleh panitia dan pembimbing acara agar mempermudah santri mengenal jenis perlombaan.
Panitia putri menyiapkan 10 perlombaan, yang di dalamnya terdiri dari 6 bidang olahraga dan 4 bidang kesenian. Bidang Olahraga yang diperlombakan yakni basket, voli, badminton, tapak suci, senam, dan kasti. Sedangkan bidang kesenian yang diperlombakan yakni kaligrafi, karikatur, kerajinan tangan dan desain logo panca jiwa dan motto pondok.
Dan panitia putra menyiapkan 12 perlombaan, yang di dalamnya terdiri dari 7 bidang olahraga dan 4 bidang kesenian. Bidang olahraga yang diperlombakan yakni sepak bola, basket, voli, badminton, futsal, tenis meja, dan rugby. Sedangkan bidang kesenian yang diperlombakan yakni kaligrafi, hasta karya, gravity, dan gambar 3 dimensi.

Tepat Minggu (23/08) Upacara Penutupan PORSENI. Acara ini diakhiri guna melanjutkan kegiatan sehari-hari santri dan mengoptimalkan kegiatan belajar. Dalam PORSENI menang kalah bukanlah urusan, melainkan bagaimana santri bisa bekerja sama dengan grup atau club yang ditentukan mengahadapi lomba dengan sportif dan profesional.
Alhamdulillah semua kegiatan PORSENI berjalan dengan lancar sesuai dengan rencana dan harapan panitia juga pembimbing. Santri sangat bersemangat dan menikmati kegiatan PORSENI sehingga semuanya terlibat. Kelas 6 diutus menjadi seorang juri agar dilatih menilai dengan adil suatu pertandingan.

Dengan motto yang berbunyi “ العَقلُ السَالِمِ فِي الجِسمِ السَالِمِ ” dan bermakna “Akal yang sehat berada dalam jasad yang sehat”. Yang dimaksudkan adalah, kesehatan fisik dan mental berdampingan dan saling terkait. Baiknya kita semua menjaga keduanya.
Berdampingan dengan motto “Mensana in Corpore sano” yang artinya “Dalam tubuh yang sehat terdapat jiwa yang kuat” sudah tidak asing lagi dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya mata pelajaran PJOK atau Olahraga. Banyak manfaat yang didapat dari Olahraga. Sehat adalah jawaban yang utama,dan ungkapan “Lebih baik mencegah daripada mengobati” menjadi pasangan dari ungkapan berbahasa Latin diatas tadi. Setiap Kita pasti menginginkan Kesehatan,baik kesehatan fisik maupun kesehatan nonfisik karena sehat adalah harta yang sangat mahal harganya.
