I haven’t posted here in months, woops. Anyways, there is this really neat fanfic right here and I wanted to try my hand at drawing what Azurda would look like, so here it is! Poppi, Tora, and Rex are there for reference (general and height).

Between Poppi and Tora is Azurda as a Blade, much taller than the others with jagged grayish skin with spots of darker gray, a ‘beard’-like protusion like horn, a horn poking out from the middle of his forehead and other horns pointing backwards on the sides of his head, he also has fin-like ears in purple and a long green mane like grass, resembling a lot of his Titan form. On his chest is the symbol of Torna as his Core Crystal in blue, and resting on his shoulder is his weapon: a sword with dark gray handle and red grip. Also around his body are green ‘vines’ winding around.

Around his waist is a long purple cloth/skirt tired up with a belt with golden ornaments, the cloth itself has a design in red/orange like fire. He is barefoot and has clawed hands and feet. On the top right of the image are visuals of the Core and the sword fore reference.

good little Nintendo Direct, but only four or five segments were notable for me, and for what i plan to play, only two matter for here. Earthbound getting on the Switch is a nice surprise! definitely gonna go through that. and the Splat 3 stuff seems good! little cut for those who want absolutely no spoilers. no new BoTW2 news, unfortunate, and a Xenoblade Chronicles 3... i don’t have much intent to play it, same as 2. 2 is just WAY too big for my interests in playing, and i feel like 3 is gonna be similar, but it seems like that’ll still be a nice watch someday.

which reminds to tangent into something: when i was uploading those Ultra Moon photos in December, i mentioned i used a Relicanth which i called Azurda, and while i knew that name was XC2, i thought, i wasn’t into that series at the time of the run. so it’s a slap in the face to me to realize i’ve been into Xenoblade for a year and a half by now, having run that Rock team run about seven months ago.

i like seeing that that one new boss is alongside the Maws instead of replacing it, considering the concept is sort of the reverse of Maws. actually... ooh, yup yup, Drizzlers, Scrapper and Steel Eels in the corner there, all common wave bosses are making a return! and that Egg Throw is gonna be a GODSEND, i can feel it. i already know it’s still gonna be the mode i’m gonna put the most time into. well, my track record on this blog should’ve been a giveaway already.

My favorite lesbians kicking ass 😫😫 I can’t wait till they come home. Feat. the gang rescuing Dromarch because I thought it was cute. And yes I believe in Crimson Orchid Brighid supremacy 🙇‍♀️
