When will the help of Allah arrive?
The revelation of Surah Al-Ankabut occurred when Muslims faced severe oppression. Once Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) began preaching Islam publicly, his few followers quickly found that professing faith meant facing ruthless torture and execution. Men from the Mecca like Abu Bakr (ra), were beaten unconscious in the streets, while slaves like Bilal b. Rabah (ra) and Suhayb b. Sinân (ra) were shackled and left to scorch in the midday desert sun.
The conditions had become extremely unfavorable, and a noble companion was tortured with burning coals without clothes. They took him to hot, open areas in the city when the sun was very strong. It was scorching on the ground. They removed his clothes, put iron armor on him, and laid him on the hot ground. Because of the intense heat, his skin would burn, and his body would become still. His skin melted due to the extreme conditions, and he went to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), asking, "Why isn't Allah's help coming, considering what we are going through?"
Then, the verses of Surah Al-Ankabut were revealed. When Surah Al-Ankabut was revealed, its initial verses emphasized patience. The first verses addressed the companions, saying, “Do people think once they say, “We believe,” that they will be left without being put to the test? We certainly tested those before them. And ˹in this way˺ Allah will clearly distinguish between those who are truthful and those who are liars.”
After this, the mention of Prophet Noah began, highlighting that he had to endure centuries of waiting, and eventually, Allah's help came through the flood. After that, the mention of Prophet Abrahim followed, who faced difficulties from his own people and was saved from the fire.
Then the story of Prophet Lut is mentioned. Prophet Lut was also supposed to migrate. However, at that point, the command for migration had not yet been given. Prophet Lut would be questioning when the command would come and when they would leave this place.
After a long period of patience, finally, the angels came, and the command for migration was given.
Allah, through these stories, was conveying to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that just as He helped all those previous prophets, He would help them too. However, they needed to be patient and wait, just as all of them had to wait.
This Surah gives us hope that help would surely come, and it would come in a way one cannot anticipate. All we have to do is wait patiently.

what can you do in 10 minutes?
-read surat al-faatihah seven times, and gain 9800 hasanaat
-read surat al ikhlaas 21 times, and it is equal to a third a of the Quran, so it is as though you read the whole Quran seven times
-read a page from the Quran, or memorize a short ayah from Allah's book
-say 'laa ilaaha illa allah, wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu-l mulk, wa lahu-l hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer' 20 times, and its reward is that of freeing eight Muslim slaves
-say 'subhaanAllah wa bi hamdihi* 100 times, so your sins would be forgiven, even if they were as the foam of the sea
-say 'subhaanAllah wa bi hamdihi, subhaanAllah al-'adhe em' 50 times, and they are two phrases light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and beloved to Allah
-say 'subhaanAllah, wal-hamdulillah, wa laa ilaaha illa allah, wallahu akbar' 20 times, and it is the most beloved speech to Allah, and the best speech, and the heaviest in reward
-say 'laa illaaha illa allah' 70 times, and it is the greatest kalimah, and whoever says it as his last words will enter Paradise
-say 'laa hawla wa laa quwatta illa billah' 50 times, and it is a treasure of the treasures of Paradise
-say 'astaghfirullah' 100 times, and it is a cause of mercy and entrance to Paradise, and a cause of protection from calamity and ease of affairs
-send peace and blessings upon the Prophet 50 times, so Allah will send peace and blessing on you 500 times
-think about Allah's creation in the heveans and earth, so you will be of the people with understanding that Allah has praised
-read two pages from a beneficial book, so your knowledge and understanding increase, and it is a means to Paradise
-call your relatives on the phone, or to give salaam to a Muslim, or ask about his condition
-raise your hands to the heavens, and ask of Allah what you wish
-intercede for your brother ,console your brother
-write a good word to your brother, and send it to him
-enjoin the good, and forbid the evil
-remove an obstruction from the road
-smile in the face of your brother, so it is sadaqah for you.
we waste many minutes waiting at the traffic light, and many more minutes waiting at the doctor's office, or for another appointment, or waiting a for a call or for a friend, and so on. Many minutes are lost here and there, but the wise one iS he who benefits from them. the
minute that passes will never return again. so let it become a custom that a we retain a juz of the Quran, or carry a small book in our pocket so that if we find a free minute, we benefit from it and gain reward and increase in knowledge.
and if you persist upon these actions, your tongue will become accustomed to reciting dhikr, and you will find yourself accomplishing more and more in a single minute. and if you take advantage of a single minute, you will then take advantage of the longer, wasted periods of
time.

Got blocked, but oh well, let's cover this last bit I managed to grab;
Tumblr media
The hadith and sira tradition is very explicit about the fact that Muhammad married Aisha when she was six, and consummated the marriage when she was nine, this is the dominant belief in Islam and is used to justify child marriages, and sex with minors.
Both the Qur'an and the hadiths have played an important role in legal and exegetical discussions on these topics, in particular Q. 65:4 which was generally understood to allude to divorced pre-pubescent wives.
Such of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the prescribed period, if ye have any doubts, is three months, and for those who have no courses (it is the same): for those who carry (life within their wombs), their period is until they deliver their burdens: and for those who fear Allah, He will make their path easy.
There is no minimum age for the marriage contract, Islamic law permits a girl to live with her husband and consummate the marriage when she can tolerate intercourse without physical harm, which according to Islamic jurists sometimes may be the case while she was still a minor.
The `Iddah of Those in Menopause and Those Who do not have Menses Allah the Exalted clarifies the waiting period of the woman in menopause. And that is the one whose menstruation has stopped due to her older age. Her `Iddah is three months instead of the three monthly cycles for those who menstruate, which is based upon the Ayah in (Surat) Al-Baqarah. [see 2:228] The same for the young, who have not reached the years of menstruation. Their `Iddah is three months like those in menopause. This is the meaning of His saying.
Tafsir Ibn Kathir, Dar Taybah, vol.8 p.149
. In Islam, iddah is the period a woman must observe after the death of her husband or after a divorce, during which she may not marry another man.
"And for those who haven't menstruated" means: The same applies to the Iddah for girls who do not menstruate because they are too young, if their husbands divorce them after consummating the marriage with them.
The interpretation of Al-Tabari, mu'assasat Al-Risalah, vol.23 p.452
.
Here, one should bear in mind the fact that according to the explanations given in the Quran the question of the waiting period arises in respect of the women with whom marriage may have been consummated, for there is no waiting-period in case divorce is pronounced before the consummation of marriage. (Al-Ahzab: 49). Therefore, making mention of the waiting-period for the girls who have not yet menstruated, clearly proves that it is not only permissible to give away the girl in marriage at this age but it is also permissible for the husband to consummate marriage with her. Now, obviously no Muslim has the right to forbid a thing which the Quran has held as permissible.
Commentary on Qur'an Chapter 65:4 Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, Tafhim al-Qur'an
.
For those who are small and have not reached age (quoting the Qur'an) "for those female who have not menstruated, their waiting period is three months" i.e. their waiting period is 3 months. Qur'an 65:4 Al-Shoukani, Fath al-Qadir
Quotes from Imam Bukhari's hadith collection, regarding verse 65:4.
The Tafsir of Surat at-Talaq
Mujahid said that "if you have any doubt" (65:4) means if you do not know whether she menstruates or not. Those who do not longer menstruate and those who have not yet menstruated, their 'idda is three months.
Sahih Al-Bukhari, Chapter 68: Book of Tafsir
The following is from Bukhari's chapter introduction for chapter 39, Book an-Nikkah. It appears immediately before the first and only hadith of Chapter 39, Sahih Bukhari 7:62:64 and can be seen in the Dar-us-Salam print edition, volume 7.
Giving one’s young children in marriage (is permissible) by virtue of the Statement of Allah: ‘And for those who have courses’ (i.e. they are still immature) (Sura 65:4) And the ‘Iddat [waiting period for a woman before lawful sexual intercourse] for the girl before puberty is three months (in the above Verse).
Bukhari (Chapter 39)
The Encyclopedia of Unanimous Islamic Rulings says: “Scholars have unanimously agreed that it is permissible for a father to marry off his minor daughter without her consent.”
The Encyclopedia lists 14 classical scholars who reported the consensus about this, such as Ibn Abdul Barr (d.1071 AD) who said: “Scholars have unanimously agreed that a father can marry off his minor daughter without consulting with her”.
1- Allah said: “And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated.” Quran 65:4
This verse says that the Iddah for those who haven’t menstruated is three months. And since that the Iddah is only prescribed in the case of divorce, this proves that:
A-She can marry and can get divorced.
B- Marrying her off before puberty is allowed.
C- Her consent is neglected.
2- Ayisha said: “Allah's Messenger married me when I was six years old, and consummated his marriage when I was nine”.
3- Muhammad’s companion Qudamah Bin Math’un married the daughter of Al-Zubayr when she was born. He said: “If I die then the daughter of Al-Zubayr will inherit me. If I live then she will be my wife”
4- Ali, Muhammad’s cousin and the fourth caliph, married off his minor daughter Um Kulthum to Umar the second caliph.
These reports show that Ayisha, Al-Zubayr’s daughter and Ali’s daughter were minors which means their consent was unviable.
Mawsu’at Al-Ijma’ Fil-Fiqh Al-Islami, Volume 3 by professor Zafir Al-Amri, first edition 2012, published by Dar Al-Fadhilah, Al-Maktabah Al-Shamilah, vol.3 p.144-147
Al-Nawawi (d.1277 AD) in his commentary on Sahih Muslim, laid out the view of all four major legal schools on the minimum age of consummation of marriage:
Regarding the timing of the wedding of a minor wife and consummation of her marriage, if the husband and the minor’s legal guardian both agreed on something that doesn’t harm the minor then it’s done.
If they disagree, Ahmad (the Imam of one of the 4 major legal schools in Sunni Islam) said that she is forced to be wed at the age of 9.
Malik, Al-Shafi’i and Abu Hanifa (the remaining 3 Imams of the 4 major legal schools) said the timing is when she’s capable of enduring sexual intercourse which differs from one person to another and can’t be determined by age. This is the correct view.
Al-Nawawi, Al-Minhaj Sharh Sahih Muslim, published by Dar Ihya’ Al-Turath Al-Arabi, Al-Maktabah Al-Shamilah, vol.9 p.206
Mukhtasar Khalil is a major book in the Maliki legal school which is one of the four major legal schools. Al-Kharashi (d.1690) said in his commentary on this book:
“It’s possible to have sex with her” meaning there’s no specific age. Every person is different. And it’s not required for her to reach puberty because a man can receive full pleasure if the female can endure sex.
Al-Kharashi, Sharh Al-Kharashi, published by Al-Matba’ah Al-Kubra, Al-Maktabah Al-Shamilah, vol.3 p.258
Many scholars say that a husband is obliged to provide for his wife only if she lets him have sex with her.
The following quote falls within this context: Kanz Al-Daqa’iq is a major book in the Hanafi legal school. Al-Zayla’i (d.743 AH) said in his commentary on this book:
“A minor who can’t endure sex” meaning the husband isn’t obliged to provide for her whether she’s living in his home or not. Al-Shafi’i said that “the husband is actually obliged to provide for her since that providing for her is the price for owning her. It’s like how a man is obliged to provide for his slave girl”….
Some scholars say if the female minor is (old enough) to be sexually desirable and it’s possible to have sexual acts with her except for intercourse, then the husband is obliged to provide for her. But if the female minor can endure sex, scholars have unanimously agreed that the husband is obliged to provide for her.
Scholars have disagreed on determining the age when a minor can endure sex, with some saying it’s nine. What’s is correct is that age doesn’t matter. What matters is the capability to endure sexual intercourse; a fat big female can endure intercourse even if she’s of a young age.
Al-Zayla’i, Tabyin Al-Haqa’iq, published by Al-Matba’a Al-Kubra, Al-Maktabah Al-Shamilah, vol.3 p.52
A fatwa collection issued by the Ministry of Religious Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Kuwait, included the following fatwa;
Question: Is it allowed to marry a suckling baby and is it allowed to pleasure myself with her by kissing her and doing other unharmful acts excluding sex?
Answer: If the marriage contract fulfills the Islamic legal requirements then she’s considered to be his wife in all respects and he’s allowed to look at her, touch her and kiss her. He’s not allowed to have sex with her until she can endure sex without causing her any harm.
Majmu'at Al-Fatawa Al-Shar'iyya, Fatwa no. 6058
I can go on, but I won't, the founder of Islam was a pedophile, its greatest thinkers permitted pedophilia, and Islamic law to this day permits it.
We don't need math to understand this, it's clear as day through the writings of Islam and its scholars, but let's end it with a bang, shall we?
"It was narrated by Ahmed that a man came to him that feared that he would ejaculate while he was fasting. Ahmed said: "What I see is that he can release semen without ruining the fast, he can masturbate using his hands or the hands of his wife, If he has an "Ammah" whether be it a girl or a little child, she can masturbate for him using her hands, and if she was a non-believer, he can sleep with her without releasing (his semen), if he released it in her, it becomes impermissible".
Bada'i al-Fuwa'id of Ibn Qayyim, page 603
.
Banning child marriage will cause challenging the marriage of the holy prophet of Islam, who also married minor Ayesha, when she was just eight years old. The new law [seeking to ban child marriages] initiated by the current government [of Bangladesh] will put the moral character of the prophet into controversy and challenge. Islam permits child marriage and it will not be tolerated if any ruler will ever try to touch this issue in the name of giving more rights to women.
Mufti Fazlul Haque Amini
.
Fatwah 23672:
The inquirer asks: "My parents married me to a young girl who hasn't yet reached puberty. How can I enjoy her sexually?"
The imam answers him by saying: "Do not harm her if she cannot take intercourse but you may hug her, kiss her, and ejaculate between her legs" i.e. "thigh" her, as the fatwah in question indicates.

While making dua after Fajr and asking Allah to help Gaza, I realized that it's actually me who needs help. Gaza already has Allah's help; of course Allah is with them. It is me who needs help. I am witnessing a genocide, and I am not taking any action – just living my life as usual. What will I say to Allah if He asks what I did to ease His people's pain? This thought terrifies me! 💔🇵🇸

Allah calls Himself Al-Muqtadir— The Omnipotent, The Powerful Determiner— on two occasions in the Quran. Al-Muqtadir is the One who has the power and he ability to do whatever He decides. His Power enforces all decrees and His decree prevails in every situation!
 The Omnipotent, The All-Determining
Both muqtadir and qadeer come from the  root qaaf-daal-raa, which points to four main meanings. The first meaning is to have the power to accomplish, to be capable. The second is to measure, to distribute something, or to make manifest. The third is to decree or to ordain and the fourth is to prevail.
This root appears 132 times in the Quran in 11 derived forms. Examples of these forms are taqdiru (“is decreed”), qadran (“a measure”), and maqdooran (“destined”).
Allah ‘azza wajal refers to Himself with the active participle muqtadir four times in the Quran, of which two mentions of Muqtadirin, (The) Powerful One, Most Powerful, or the Omnipotent.
Linguistically qadeer, qaadir, and muqtadir are all derived from the root qaaf-daal-raa, all pointing to the all-prevailing and perfect Power of Allah ‘azza wajal. Muqtadir is the intensive form of the root which refers to the use of supreme power to actively enforce whatever His wisdom decides. The ‘mu’ at the beginning of the word in Arabic refers to a means, or theembodiment of an action, which results in translations as the do-er or the one who is, eg Muslim, one who submits.
Al-Muqtadir Himself says: . . . They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability [Quran, 54:42) . . . In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. [Quran, 54:55]
How Can You Live By This Name?
1. Never think you can depend on your own powers.
Your tawfeeq (ability) is from Al-Muqtadir only, your success is not because of yourself but because He enabled you to accomplish matters.  When you show your need for Him, Al-Muqtadir will support you but when you think you can depend on your own power for even the blink of an eye, He will abandon you. And let not those who disbelieve think that they can outstrip (escape from the punishment). Verily, they will never be able to save themselves[Quran, 8:59] We often take this ayah as not for us as we are no disbelievers, but how often do we fall into the trap of thinking that ‘our children are good, because we raised them well’ or ‘I have this job, because I am clever.’ Always humble yourself by thinking: all I have is from Allah Al-Muqtadir!
2. Practise your belief.
When someone is diagnosed with a fatal disease, they should still think, Allah ‘azza wajal is able to do all things! It is easy to say, Allah is capable to do all things, but do you really live by this? The companions of Musa said: ” We are sure to be overtaken. Musa said: “Nay, verily with me is my Lord. He will guide me. [ Quran, 26:61-62] He was alone facing many enemies, but his belief in the determining power of Al-Muqtadir was unshakable, let this be your example when you feel overpowered or hopeless and tell yourself: Allah is really able to do all things and He will guide me through this!
3. Be grateful for the hidden blessings.
Al-Muqtadir forces each and everything in this world to happen according to His infinite wisdom. There is a reason behind everything and only as a believer can you benefit from each situation in your life, good or bad.  Allah had completed and perfected His Grace upon you, (both) apparent and hidden [Quran, 31:20] Thank Al-Muqtadir each day for His hidden blessings!
4. Remember the dua of the Prophet Yunus.
But he cried through the darkness: Laa ilaaha illaa anta [ none has the right to be worshipped but You, subhanaka [Glorified and Exalted are you], innee kuntu min adh-Dhaalimeen [truly, I have been of the wrong doers]. So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers [ Quran, 21: 87-88] By narrating this story in the Quran Al-Muqtadir made this event into a daily life lesson for every believer: no matter how dark your situation is, turn to Al-Muqtadir, recognize His position, realize your position and He will give you a way out.
5. Value the importance of peace of mind.
The decree of Al-Muqtadir comes from perfect knowledge and power and it controls our daily life. You are making hundreds of choices each day responding to many different situations, and each time you have the choice: do I turn to Allah or do I turn away from Him? You can get angry, or try to have patience. You can swear or remain quieit, you can backbite or you can talk good about others. Al-Muqtadir says: Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest [Quran, 13:28]
Al-Muqtadir gives money, power, intelligence and beauty to people, but He decrees true peace of mind to His believers only! So with every choice you make throughout your day, remember Allah.
Wallahu ta’alaa ‘alem.
O Allah, Al-Muqtadir we know that Your power enforces all decrees.  Guide us to practise our belief in your All-ability and capability, make us grateful for all aspects of your decree for us,  save us from arrogance and adorn us with tranquil hearts who remember you abundantly, ameen!

What’s bad about nationalism?
Bro everything, it’s just a reformed version of the tribalism the prophet got rid of, it creates needless division between Muslims and on top of that it’s one of the dirtier tentacles of secularism, it has no place in Islam imo because it drives people to have loyalty towards a country or a king or a people which is eventually used to justify some type of wrong doing(bidah or in this case standing by and watching while a literal genocide happens) and if you’re one of those people who take pride in whatever country you’re from go ahead there’s nothing wrong with that but that should always come after Islam, and on top of that to the people who says “oh but in the Quran it says you’re supposed to obey the leader( the word that’s actually used is أُولِي الْأَمْرِ which is essentially leader) but the thing people always forget when referencing that ayah is that right before that it says obey Allah swt and obey the prophet pbuh and then leader is put in after without the word obey, to signify that the obeying of Allah swt and the prophet pbuh is one thing and obeying a leader is a totally different thing

A beautiful thing I noticed in surah Al-Qasas is that every time Musa عليه السلام found himself in a state of need/fear/worry, he calls out to his Lord only:
‎قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى فَٱغْفِرْ لِى فَغَفَرَ لَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
He pleaded, “My Lord! I have definitely wronged my soul, so forgive me.” So He forgave him, ˹for˺ He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
(Quran 28:16)
فَخَرَجَ مِنْهَا خَآئِفًۭا يَتَرَقَّبُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ نَجِّنِى مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
So Moses left the city in a state of fear and caution, praying, “My Lord! Deliver me from the wrongdoing people.”
(Quran 28:21)
وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلْقَآءَ مَدْيَنَ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبِّىٓ أَن يَهْدِيَنِى سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ
And as he made his way towards Midian, he said, “I trust my Lord will guide me to the right way.”
(Quran 28:22)
فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى لِمَآ أَنزَلْتَ إِلَىَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍۢ فَقِيرٌۭ
“…and prayed, “My Lord! I am truly in ˹desperate˺ need of whatever provision You may have in store for me.”
(Quran 28:24)
And the final ayah of surah Al-Qasas reinforces this strong sense of faith/tawakkul in Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. In calling out to Him, رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ only.
“And do not invoke any other god with Allah. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him. Everything is bound to perish except He Himself. All authority belongs to Him. And to Him you will ˹all˺ be returned.”
(Quran 28:88)

there's an ayah of the Quran I've been thinking about a lot recently
And Moses said, "Our Lord, indeed You have given Pharaoh and his establishment splendor and wealth in the worldly life, our Lord, that they may lead [men] astray from Your way. Our Lord, obliterate their wealth and harden their hearts so that they will not believe until they see the painful punishment." — Saheeh International
this one, in which Musa (as) prays that the tyrant that was Pharaoh would never believe, never until that belief would not save him, so that he would never be forgiven
so that he could go to Hell
I've been thinking about it a lot, because it's a sentiment I feel deeply these days. I am so completely furious that I haven't the words to begin to describe it.
May Allah accept the duas of those who pray for abusers, tyrants, and murderers to be punished, just as He accepted this dua of Musa (as)'s in the past.
Ameen.
