ppl rlly hated asgore back then so that's why all of his ships were unpopular, even toriel x asgore was rare to find compared to other ships. but the thing is he was remorseful of what he did and literally every monster in the underground except toriel were super excited to murder humans?!?!?! even mettaton who was a human enthusiast was like ya I might kill this kid for views why not.

so it felt hypocritical to hate him when he was the only one remorseful about his hatred towards humans while everyone else gleefully told frisk to their face over and over again they'd love to slaughter every human in existence...... :/

Idk if it's the case for the post you reblogged but oftentimes people using Pepe images and referring to people who agree with them as "frens" are using it as a nazi dog whistle, it's from some 4chan board or something where everyone uses "frenspeak" or whatever to cover up the fact that they're nazis
