The hiatus is officially over. Recently, I’ve been getting back into digital art and I thought the best way to keep doing digital is to bring the ask blog back. Honestly, I had some really nice ideas I wanted to incorporate to the makeshift story, and I was kinda sad I never got to use ‘em.

So I’ll try to post an actual update today. TRY, because today’s actually pretty busy. If not I’ll try to post one tomorrow. Might not because I like to just sit around and do nothing.

Anyway, I was wondering what kind of art style I should use for the blog. Should I do lineless, lined with more dynamic shading, or lined with flat shading like I started out with?

Examples and constraints associated with each style under the cut.

Lineless would be something like this:

I would probably only do one or two panels per ask with lineless. Though I really do like doing lineless, probably the most out of all the other styles.

Lined with dynamic shading would look something like this:

This one for sure would be one panel per ask because it takes the longest. Lining is probably what takes up a majority of the time when I draw something.

And Lined with Flat Shading would look something like this:

But better because I’m a bit better at drawing now. Also the little head in the text box won’t be there.

This would most likely take the least amount of time, and it will use as many panels as it needs to fully answer the ask. So basically, keep the old style.

So, which style should I continue the ask blog in?
