They should make the animations better at least, like the manga art has so much more personality to it, you go to the anime and it's just...bland. the writing itself could have been way worse... I guess, it'd feel weird with Asagiri not writing it... doesn't change the fact his writing is ass

I'm actually not really that...tilted? I supposed? About animation like a lot of people seem to be when it comes to anime, especially BSD. I do NOT get it. The animation is good, and BSD isn't really worth anything spectacular imo, so like...IT FITS. The only thing I hate is stupid camera angle shit like the fish-eye insanity moments. Please T_T enough...ENOUGH! Plus I read like - the first season's worth of the manga, I think? Or maybe more idk it was a blur. And it literally felt like watching the anime shot-for-shot so...NOT SURE WHAT PERSONALITY THE SHOW IS MISSING. You could be talking about the more recent series manga but man that pacing is so ass there's no way I'm going to read it.

i'm back on my ranting abt bones bc i'm too nitpicky today. atp, anime dazai and manga/ln dazai are two different beings. like what is that.

Anime Dazai: edgy, maniplative, scary, mysterious, emotionless guy 😈

Manga/LN Dazai: more fuckin' nuanced, very very complex/complicated, shows vulernablity/emotions at some times (like in moments where he was surprised to see kunikida at the beginning of the manga), predicts stuff but at the same time his predictions can be off.

honestly, bones is making me hate anime dazai more and more. like everytime i see him, i just wanna punch the shit out of him.

Okay, I'm being 100% honest with y'all because of all the shit I keep seeing on my social media.

Attack me if you must, but I genuinely love Mori. Like, sure he's a child kisser, but that was absolutely unnecessary, and I personally believe that if it were taken out, the plot wouldn't change or anything. Of course, Mori would still traumatize children, but he'd also be the hot badass villain that everyone loves, if we could ignore his strange obsession with little girls.

He really wasn't supposed to be written as a pedophile, Asagiri put it in "as a joke". He also wasn't written to be hated, because Asagiri also confirmed that he liked Mori's character.

You know what's weird to me? Skk shippers get slandered for so much as breathing by the rest of the fandom. Like half their haters actually just hate the ship cause they see it as a threat and the other half are just special snowflakes who "ship skk differently". Like its not just them not enjoying the ship or having had bad experiences with a select few weirdo shippers, they go out of their way to engage with shippers, deliberately enter their tags to shit on the ship and then go "lol I wonder why these shippers are so pressed about MY opinion".

For skk antis its never just "i just dont vibe with it" its always skk shippers personally pushed my crippled grandma off the 12th story and killed my dog and burnt down my house" or some shit.

You're not special for liking a different ship. You aren't better for being a cunt to people just trying to have fun online.

Chuuya stans get sad that their fave might die or that they rarely get to see them in the main manga and all of you crawl out of the woodworks like insects to start sliding into the tags to insult and mock them. Its not their fault that you decided to stan that one dude that popped up for 1 scene and was never seen again. Its not their fault their ship gets content or Asagiri happens to like Chuuya enough to want to keep writing about him. Like at some point you have got to take a step back and realise you are more obsessed with those shippers than they are with their ship if you slide out to slander a moment or character before even the shippers or stans find out about it.
