Transparency ... punched metal panels are something that has always inspired me in many facade studies and this project was also nominated for the #eumiesvanderrohe award. This school designed by young architects, here in Turin, is quite similar to the project we are doing for another public work, here in Italy ... it is interesting how they treated the metal structure on the facade, attached to the volumes of the building, exactly as we are doing ... the approach is very similar, hiding a bit the volumes with the connections on the façade to design a structure with lightness and elegance, then simplifying the construction site when it is built and lowering costs. Detail ... facade - perceiving these details every day is for me a source of amazement and joy and, unfortunately, sometimes the absence of these details on new architectures is obviously its opposite. There are architecture details that, could it be modern, classic, contemporary or ancient, it remains a significant details, who sometimes we see but do not look at them properly, because we are taken by the frenzy of life that engulfs us more and more. Paying attention to those details makes the difference, and knowing how to understand it is already a good starting point to understand even what surrounds us, and to give the right value to the things around us, and these are increasingly becoming an added value to which it shouldn't be ignored.
