Much to ponder with this ship... The fact that we never find out what quadrant Aradia and Sollux were in... The way that feelings jams and piling got fanonized as moirail behaviors despite being introduced as something Sollux and Feferi did as matesprits... Wish we knew more about Feferi and Aradia's dynamic though. </3 Anyway I love Sollux and his two weed-smoking girlfriends

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmm... hm. good question :) shipping her with nepeta, that's a good one! lots of people correctly depict her as fat, which is good too! love to see that!

What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise? oh god so much. so fucking much. which one to even choose. definitely the one that boils my blood the most is saying that she abused eridan lmfao. the subsection of the fandom that demonizes her because she hurt their poor sadboy's feelings make me want to commit violence. but like in general, almost nobody seems to understand her and her character (except for phemiec shout out to save you by phemiec) it is quite rare to come across a good feferi take imo lol

15. What's your favorite ship for this character? (Doesn't matter if it's canon or not.) fefnep. thats right. arafef is no longer my number one feferi ship im sorry everyone. i still like it tho. i also really like arasolfef now which is fun because i used to hate solfef but i think its cute now.

IM A HUGE ERISOL FAN. IM SORRY. I KNOW. THEY'RE JUST SO FUCKING RRRAGHHHDHEH. i like my ships absolutely pathetic failboy disaster hellpiles and eridan is the King of Being The Worst so Unfortunately i love him and yet i also hate him and also he is my brand ??? eridude or whatever... AND sollux. is my Favorite troll in the comic. im absolutely fanatical about him. and they hate each other so much and are so miserable all the time and yet they are constantly drawn right back to one another do they REALLY hate each other ??? do they??? yes but also no but also YES. they are absolutely obsessed with each other in the best way and the worst way and is it healthy maybe not but it COULD BE HEALTHY?? and maybe that's the hook??? they are such an absolute fucking mess together and i know canonically it probably would not work out but in my Mind i have invented a universe where they absolutely would work out and they're dating and it's so fucking funny ahhahaha laughs evilly and manically. kings of quadrant flipping??? kings of being Maybe Nonbinary??? eridan looks at sollux hunched over with the worst posture known to man in his fucking gamer chair and sollux looks over at eridan in the worlds gaudiest outfit being a terrible person and they are both have thoughts of "oh fuck this should not be attractive at all and YET???"

ARAFEF:

rubs my hands together deviously. i love arafef so much guys. THEY HAVE SOME OF . THE SILLIEST PARADOX SPACE CONTENT. its so small and its still got me absolutely giggling and kicking my feet.

basically these two girls are so WEIRD and kind of terrifying and both so wonderful. it is actually heartbreaking we Don't ever get to see them really interact in main comic (the only interaction we get i believe is when aradia is a ghost and that's not even like a head on convo i think it's just aradia kind of commenting on something feferi says in alterniabound. sign. feel free to correct me if im wrong tho!!)

i love them and i think they could get up to so many shenanigans together- silly girls going on adventures together, aradia shows feferi all her cool dead stuff and feferi is like "380 !! 38) <3", watching scary movies together(these two would be so fucking into horror!!!) if sollux and eridan are lame nerds these two are the COOLEST NERDS IN EXISTENCE. like this is a couple that you would meet and be like oh my god they're awesome..and maybe they even hold hands? kiss a little? kiss a LOT even?? fall asleep in a pile together?? PERHAPS THEY SNUGGLE???

anyways i think about them a normal amount. also i love them in arasolfef (sollux deserves TWO scary girlfriends.) and arafefnep? catfishbones maybe?? nepeta has such a cute relationship with both of these girls so methinks they deserve to all kiss :3.

ERISOLKAT:

BACK TO ERISOL. BUT THIS TIME. KARKAT. so obviously all of the erisol stuff still holds true for this but somehow adding karkat to the mix makes it all so much more domestic? i think maybe it's because karkat has the NEED to take care of his friends and these two both need a lot of attention. it just all balances out so perfectly imo. and all of these characters have such interesting relationships with each other and it is all genuinely so sweet. and yet they're all such gripe-y whiney assholes so it's baffling that it SHOULD be as sweet as it is.

maybe im biased cause some of my favorite fluff fanfics i've read for hs were erisolkat. but heyyyy. anyways i love these horrible creatures and i think all of them holding hands is a Fantastic fucking idea.

Aradia hehe

So for those of you who don't know, Carl here's my partner, so vi gets priority for my first ask. Ah, Aradia! As an avid arasol and arasolfef shipper, Aradia is without a doubt one of my favorite Homestuck characters. Let's get started. Aradia is without a doubt a Clockwork Soul Sorcerer. Those of you more well-versed in Homestuck may know about classpects, but they're essentially your pre-determined "job" in the in-universe game Sburb. Aradia's is the Maid of Time, and thus I felt Clockwork Soul would suit her very well, for more reasons than one.

The repairing theme of the Clockwork soul is what drove me to this choice. As the Maid of Time, Aradia is in charge of repairing time itself within any ongoing session of Sburb, which mostly involves creating stable time loops and overseeing doomed timelines. This pairs very well with the fact that the Clockwork Soul is very much a support class, what with being able to cancel disadvantage on ally rolls and advantage on enemy rolls, as well as learning spells like Shield and Counterspell. When she God-Tiers (the highest level of power in Sburb), Aradia has control over time itself, like any time-aspect player has. Given that the Sorcerer is one of the few classes that can learn the 9th-level spell Time Stop, I figured it would be an appropriate class.

solfef is cute! love them, love seeing art/fic of them, i just never end up drawing them myself for some reason. usually i have them as one of the established couples of the friend group so they end up fading into the background, which is unfortunate! i enjoy when they get to be little weirdos in opposite directions with each other

i also keep shipping them in throuples (arasolfef, erisolfef, solfefkat among others) so i guess i just assigned them as my “established couple looking for a third” for this fandom

besides “established relationship” and “brand new couple so sweet it makes everyone sick” i like “ex’s who are still friends” or otherwise seeing how a high-profile cross-spectrum relationship puts strain on them. because the opposite vibe of that really light solfef is: feferi as the new empress, where just the fact that she & sollux are together is political and a statement and scrutinized, on top of figuring out how you even run an empire anyway. that’s Interesting

aesthetically, i don’t think i’ve ever seen a troll design lineup where sollux & feferi didn’t look adorably “opposites attract” like a high school couple from wildly different cliques whose friend groups are trying to combine with mixed results. also the vibe of “can absolutely pick up her bf and throw him like a javelin” is very good

conclusion: when i’m not thinking of solfef as playing a high stakes political game, this is the vibe i’m thinking of. i should draw them more
