people who whittle mad maggie down to "feral goblin woman" are the bane of my existance. do you not see the purpose in everything she does!!! she's not just some violent crazed madwoman, she fights for a reason! salvonians know from childhood that if anything's gonna send a message and have it be understood, it's violence. this is revoloution 101, fights are not picked without good fucking reason. if it gets something done without having to beg and grovel, violence will be used, espeically if it gets shitstain corpos to listen to the people.
maggie fights because she loves. she loves her people and her home so much she knows in her heart one day she will die for it, and she plans to go kicking and fucking screaming down all 6 levels of hell that fight may take her. she is not just some stray rabid dog that bites because she can, she snaps in defense, in demonstration, in a show of power. even when they try to push her to her as low as they can, lock her in shackles and shame her, she's still full of spit and ready to kick ass because she knows the fight is not over until she says it is.
Looking for a new, active, 18+ sfw place to roleplay your favourite Legends?
Look no further than Apex Legends: Sundry! We boast a flexible canon (with the ability to retcon lore/character decisions made by Respawn because lord knows they suck at keeping their game straight, let alone the story) that is informed by our roleplayers, the use of threads to keep the rp channels clutter free, and the option to roleplay in alternate universe or non-canon settings to explore otherwise impossible rp plots!!
We also heavily encourage people with original characters to invest themselves into the canon, whether they be Legends, or staff, or other characters!!
If any of this interests you, follow this link to find us on disboard, or shoot me a message for the invite and drop by!
Alright not gunna lie. Had to do a double take on Junker Queens VA because for a hot second I thought that was Mad Maggie. Not the same VAs, but do I think they would complement each other? Absolutely.
people are still liking/reblogging my mad maggie rant so im taking that as invitation to talk abt her more as her biggest fan. so one of the reblogs put in the tags that they dont like fuse because he's a sellout compared to maggs and. ok i have so many thoughts on this one. i enjoy fuse, he's like my second main, but i also want to shake him around real violent like for the state he left maggs in. I see so so many people siding with fuse in that situation (assuming because they just go oh maggie = villain she was in the wrong) when I honestly feel like that's just not right, even when I try to look at their relationship from an unbiased standpoint. Maggie loves her home and the people in it so fiercely she's willing to die for it (LITERALLY!! SHE LITERALLY HAS SAID THAT) and she had probably assumed!! Fuse was in the same boat! Since they both spent YEARS dedicating their lives to the fight for Salvo, constantly putting themselves on the line for that fight! And all of a sudden he just up and leaves that! And Maggie was left with nobody to fall back on, losing both her closest friend and (technically) losing her home in one go. Not to mention she wasn't losing her friend to just anyone, no, he was leaving her to go be some showdog for the stuck up fucks taking their home from under their feet. Tell me, if you spent your life with someone working together towards a goal, and then one day, after decades of being partners on this, they decide to cold quit it, practically stomping your hard work into the dirt and then people think you're the villain there? Would you be mad? Would you feel rage? Because I would. She was entirely valid in feeling the need to lash out, even if it wasn't the right answer as it only made things worse. She has a right to her anger, a right to feel betrayed and like she's owed something more after all that.
Now this isn't to say I think Fuse was acting on ill intents, I don't think that at all. I totally understand he just wanted to take his life somewere else and do what he figured would make him happy, but the way he went about it just wound up getting his best friend hurt more than she already was, and in turn having that hurt reflect back on him. Could call it karma.
