BY WHICH I MEAN I got tagged in one of those Last Line Games like two weeks ago by @abysskeeper and uh never noticed bc I never check my mentions oops

anyways it’s supposed to be the last line of your WIP but I’m feeling vain today so you’re getting like a few last lines from a few different WIPs that probably won’t see the light of day for several years

so uh here’s one from a KH:COM rewrite/au bc I was having Namine Feelings last night

[It’s just information, Namine thinks, brushing away the guilt. It’s just data. It’s just a story. A story she’s telling with a friend, that’s all. A story where they are friends; a story where she’s the only friend that matters. Her hand stills, and the guilt in her stomach twists into something like longing. Wistfulness. Nostalgia for something that hadn’t actually happened.

It could have happened, she thinks. It will have happened, she thinks further. She looks up towards the locked door of her room, and the tiny hope she’d clung to so carefully sours instantly

It has to have happened, she thinks with finality, and she picks up her pencils once more.]

here’s a potential line from an After sequel in which Speedrun!Link tries his hardest to explain to Zelda how he got there so fast

[There are no common signs for how Link managed to make it to the castle so quickly. He starts somewhere in common, then jumps to Hylian by way of Zora and Goron in some weird mish-mash, and really Zelda would have been more impressed with how many different languages he had muscle memory of had he not been describing something utterly ludicrous.]

aaaaaaand finally a piece from a KH:BBS rewrite/au because I have just so many thoughts about why the fuck Pete got banished + reminiscing on Mickey’s Magical Quest for the SNES

“You kidnapped me, Pete,” Minnie said coldly.

“All part of a sting operation against the Beagle Boys.”

“You stole my dog,” Mickey protested in utter indignation.

Pete, for his part, gave the mouse a long, annoyed look. “I liked you better when you didn’t speak.”

anyways don’t expect the KH ones to come out any time soon as they’re part of a uh Self Indulgent Whole Series Rewrite Magnum Opus because I’m God Apparently and have decided to replay all the games and take extensive notes on everything because I’m a Scholar (I do have a handful of scene sketches for almost all of the games if you ever want a peek under the hood though lol)

the BOTW one is likely quicker, assuming I don’t write something for TOTK first oops

Rambling and trying to piece together Ricky’s lore like a madman. very long and insane

the BIGGEST lore thing for him is that I want him to be a Hunter or an ex-Hunter like Marco for the purposes of drama and also for him to be wildly strong for no reason bc its sexy and fun

He was more of an experimentation case than the other Destroyers and thus wasn’t well known amongst the second destroyers since, given his age (early 30s), he probably would have been grouped into their squad. He still had one of their gun names tho his code name was Heckler and the other destroyers probably heard of him but never really met him. And uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the whatever fuckin experiments made him much stronger than the others but unfortunately he was not as obedient so they made this super powered weapon of a man that will not fucking listen to them or pretty much anyone else for that matter. Since the shit starts when theyre really young he probably listens for a while and DOES end up killing a bunch of twilights but in the end hes like. actually this sucks im gonna do other shit byeeee ❤️ and he just drops out of existence and becomes hard to track by changing his name frequently AND going on T

Hes uhhhhhhhh somewhere around 16-18 when he dips and he’s now kinda wandering around Ergastulum trying to survive as everyone else is. He takes a bunch of random jobs (waiter/bartender/probably random jobs for some of the mafia families/maybe works in a brothel for a bit/dancer of various sorts) and just kinda lives his life for a while. I think I’m gonna make him a dancer/dance instructor and ALSO a self defense/hand to hand combat teacher with stuff he learned in his hunter training or w/e. Also he becomes a drag queen at some point bc it’s fun and I say so. his drag name is Wyld Fyre because hes an insane redhead.

Might have it so the Corsica’s track him down, threaten him or do something to make him work with their new destroyers against his will. He won’t actively participate in their bullshit but his “”job”” is to track down the A and S ranks and 1. keep a ledger of them, 2. keep an eye on them, and 3. be ready to kill them because he’s the only one who could easily take care of them himself. He’s like yeah sure whatever, and DOES keep an eye on the higher rank twilights but never really does anything about them. He’ll give the Corsicas/Destroyers info but never very much and sometimes will just lie and they cant do anything about it because while the destroyers COULD kill him it would take most of them is not worth the casualties and injuries he would cause during a fight, which would fuck up their whole operation.

That’s probably how he meets the Benriya bitches because he’s trying to keep an eye on Nic esp because of whatever nonsense is going on with Nic’s actual rank. He befriends them and may even join Benriya I havent decided but it would be fun and sexy. and Alex can come stay at his house when she wants so she doesnt have to deal with Worick being stupid GHKSDGH Also him and Worick fall in love a little and its sweet and nice

anyway DRAMA and HEARTBREAK and NONSENSE when Worick goes to the Corsicas and sees Ricky with the other destroyers. Worick is heartbroken seeing he was working with these bitches the whole time, and Ricky is heartbroken seeing Worick has switched sides and seemingly abandoned Nic and all the tagged he’s worked to help and theyre gonna have a dramatic talk about it eventually but who knows when

tldr: all of this is a big excuse to make this tiny bitch able to punch people through walls

Hey what do you think of the idea there being some sort of magic cigarettes in a Zelda game? Like cigarettes but without the drawbacks, like cancer. I’m saying this because I love the aesthetic of smoking but hate all the implications and consequences. Maybe the sticks could be made of dried herbs instead of tobacco? Just throwing some ideas out there.

Yeah I get you, smoking as an aesthetic is like w o a h but actual smoking is like congrats youre gonna die and also all your loved ones who live with you have respiratory problems from your second hand smoke and the only person who benefits is the capitalist 1%. Don’t do cancer sticks kids, and stay golden ponyboy!

So, magical cigarettes you say? Interesting considering the only real “magic” we see is the game, really only has some sort of relation to the goddess Hylia or the spirits/dead. Think spirit orbs, Champion powers, and Zelda. Personally, I don’t know how to weave my way around the soft magic system here, and I’m not creative enough at the moment to BS something from the magic system soooo I would stray from that magic part of it

However, if you’re looking for some sort of alternative that isn’t necessarily magical, how about those healing hot springs. Although, I guess they sort of are magical considering that just hanging out in one magically heals your wounds and stuff...ehhh welp anyway just hear me out

The bad thing about smoking (and some forms of vaping) is the addictive nicotine, and the smoke. Both factors are entirely removed from the equation when all you’re dealing with is water vapor. The water would theoretically work as both a stimulant and a depressant giving it’s healing properties, and is (probably, idk how magic works) not life-threateningly addictive! So just heat up some magic water and breath in those fancy fumes! How you turn water into a portable drug for medieval times while also heating it up without a lighter and also not letting smoke into your lungs? uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
