so a bunch of us were discussing how we want to draw self-portraits but given that most of us are fictives, we can't really post them without revealing our sources, plus it'd probably get mistaken for fanart.

someone (we can't remember who) suggested doing something involving masks, and we decided to test it out by drawing the host and ended up with something that we actually really like the look of. The question is whether other alters' sources would still be obvious if we draw them like this. We'll probably give it a go at some point just to see.
