I introduced Azran already right ?
My Deity of Abundance, sibling of Nisis and Gweldas, used to be a cute child but finally had a corruption arc because they were entirely raised by Yevlan. He convinced Azran that their mother hated them (which is not completely false tbh...) and that their brother despised them for not being the heir to the throne.
Azran thought they would forever be inferior to them, started hating their brothers and became evil. When they were banished from Altea for bringing corruption to mortals, they had a huge crisis and ripped all their feathers off ONE BY ONE.
The thing is : as a child, Azran witnessed Nisis and Gweldas suddenly grow wings after the sky was created. They wanted to look like them and therefore grew wings for themselves. After they were disowned, Azran's wings reminded them of their brothers so they didn't want them anymore. They suffered a lot and regret it now...

Come on Azran, you think YOUR birth was spectacular 😎 ? Wait 'til you hear about your brothers'...
These three idiots are the biological children of the Mother Goddess Theraël, Azran being the youngest. Azran is the Divinity of Abundance and therefore hundreds of golden coins got out of their Mother when they were born.
YES it hurt BUT
Nisis and Gweldas' birth was even worse because, as Gods of Night and Day, they were originally born as the LITERAL MOON AND SUN ??? And they are TWINS ??? Honestly, Theraël almost died and was so badly wounded giving birth to them, that it still hurts from time to time eventhough it's been like 600 years.
Yeaaaah, I don't think the twins are very much hyped about telling their sibling this story...

More wings ! This time, Gweldas and Azran interacting ! Not really surprising, but if Nisis took the role of the "mentor big brother" for Azran, Gweldas was obviously the "fun careless big brother". As a kid/teenager, Azran would follow him in his silly ideas. They would fly on each other's back and jump from Altea's heights like fucking rockets. Ruining everything Nisis taught about safety, of course.
After Azran's corruption arc, Gweldas was left with a deep wound he never recovered from. He doesn't understand why his relationship with his beloved sibling brutally ended, and is heart-broken by how dysfunctional his family has become. Gweldas is a pure and lovey-dovey person who just wants everyone to be happy and love each other. How naive.
For decades after Azran was banished, he would go visit them and try to put the pieces back together, stating it was not too late and that he still loved them. It obviously didn't work. Eventually he stopped trying when Azran ruined his wife's life and killed their child to be born. Gone too far.
Losing both Hel'norii and his own sibling is a huge trauma for him. Contrary to Nisis who reacted with a pissed off despise and "meh, finally you're just like your father", Gweldas truly is devastated.
Must hug rn

WINGS WINGS WINGS !!
Just like Nisis and Gweldas, Azran used to have their own wings and they were reddish since they're the creator of red magic. At the time, they were nicer and had a pretty good relationship with their brothers.
Nisis and Gweldas raised them and taught them everything they needed to fly safely (since their parents don't have wings, they could not help with this).
Unfortunately, growing up, Azran felt upset about the throne and royalty, starting to understand how important it was. They quickly got jealous for not being raised as an actual heir and tired of being the third wheel. This jealousy was feeded by Yevlan, whom they were very close to and who persuaded Azran they would constantly be put aside and loved less than the twins.
Then Azran started to corrupt themselves, getting obsessed with money and power, fully aware that their magic could help them getting what they wanted. Their behavior towards their brothers became cruel for no reason, they tricked them many times and rejected everything about them and their past relationship.
When Azran was banished from Altea after corrupting mortals, they felt angrier than ever and refused to have anything to do with their "family". Thus they cut their wings not to look like their brothers, and sold most of the feathers as lucky charms to mortals.
Nowadays legends tell some feathers have remained and buying or finding one would bring eternal fortune and abundance. Azran really regrets the impulsive act of cutting these wings they truly loved, but they would never admit it.

Azran, ah Azran... The crawling bitch. Finally coming to the point after mentioning him a lot in my previous posts.
Child of Theraël and Yevlan (therefore Nisis and Gweldas' little sibling) and formerly Divinity of Abundance, they became the Divinity of Corruption after they realized the power money had on people.
After brining corruption to mortals and other horrible crimes, they were judged and banished from Altea, making them one of the 3 Disowned Gods. In the process, they lost their legs and now have to make magic deals with mortals to "steal their legs" in exchange of good luck and abundance.
They're an absolute manipulative and sassy asshole who caused a lot of harm and deserves no love nor empathy 😡

Them again, except it's a modern AU ! I had fun imagining modern human outfits for my lovely little Gods and I think it fits them a lot.
Theraël is the sexiest person on Earth; Klavia looks stiffer than ever; Yevlan has NO RIGHT to be that cute; Acherus desperately needs a hug; Valryn is a fucking gym bro; Nisis dresses like a grandpa; Gweldas' job is "just beach"; Jaswinn is the chilliest Dad we all want; Oryndë just SLAYS and Azran looks like a goddamn bling-bling rapper.
Who's your fave ? My personal ones are Theraël and Yevlan hehe

Azran remorselessly lying to Printemps' face 😌
In the Anriel, Azran is Theraël and Yevlan's child. Printemps is Jaswinn's daughter. Azran used to be an adorable kid but they became a bitch as they grew up.
One day, they argued with Jaswinn because they were making fun of his fifth and youngest daughter Pluie. Jaswinn told Nisis Azran was an horrible person and was not worthy of love : Azran heard it, was offended and decided they would sleep with each one of Jaswinn's daughters (except for Pluie who is a child) just to piss him off.
They started with Eté and it wasn't quite difficult because she smashes everyone. Then Hiver refused, Automne befriended Azran and Printemps fell in love with them. Azran took advantage of the situation and kept flirting with her so she would do everything they wanted. Including sexual things, and some which traumatized her.
Azran dumped Printemps when she discovered they were sleeping with Eté without telling. Then Automne also refused to sleep with them, so they raped her and threw her off a cliff 🤷 A horrible person just like their dad, really.
Buuuut at least they lost their bet because they were banished from Altea before they could do anything to Hiver😌
(And yes, Azran had brown hair back then, their white hair is bleached)

ANRIEL - Theraël
Tumblr media
- ROLE
Theraël is the "Mother Goddess", the Goddess of Maternity, Protection and the Queen of Altea. She created or gave birth to many Gods on Altea, making her their mother as much as their ruler.
She was given the mission to create Thër when she was born.
- APPEARANCE
• Species : Mother Goddess (Maternity, Protection)
• Age : 593
• Height : 170 cm

- ABILITIES
Theraël was blessed with Altea's creation power at birth. She's able to create anything by using the simple strength of her mind or holding her hand. She created most of the currently existing concepts, turned Altea's dead body into a palace and built the Earth from scratch with the help of Jaswinn and Oryndë.
Before 176, healing people's wounds was considered as "recreation" and therefore a form of creation. Theraël made Valryn's arm and Oryndë's tail grow again after they were ripped off, but then decided to forget this ability.
As a Mother Goddess, Theraël brought several children to life by simple creation, without properly giving birth. Her only natural children are Nisis, Gweldas and Azran.
- PERSONALITY
Theraël is an ambivalent person whose particularity is to be both very sensitive and detached from her own feelings.
Since she comes from Altea who was a desperate creature, she inherited from their sadness and strong emotions. She gets overwhelmed quite easily and is often exhausted by her own children or when things go wrong on Altea. Theraël takes her responsibilities to heart and will cry if she thinks she has failed or can't control something. Her long-lasting depression makes her even more sensitive and she's often seen having mental breakdowns.
However, Theraël can sometimes appear as cold and heartless. In 152, she decided under Klavia's influence to get rid of a part of her sadness and anger, giving birth to Acherus (God of Sadness and Affliction) and Valryn (God of Anger and Chaos). She became quite strict and stiff, especially with the wrongdoers she won't hesitate to hurt or bannish from Altea.
Theraël can be considered as selfish because she will always put her mission and Altea's well-being before her children's. She's overall a pretty bad mother, as she hates kids and was forced to give birth to most of hers. She struggles raising them and will often act heartless toward them. Theraël also shows favoritism and it is implied without being told that Nisis is her favorite son. She's been hating Valryn and Azran right from the start and is partly responsible for their corruption arcs. She's rather resentful and unforgiving, especially with them.
- BACKSTORY
Theraël was born in 107 from Altea's ashes and creation power. After staying inconcious for a few time, she woke up with the dead parent's voice in her head. Theraël immediately understood she had to recreate Thër, without truly knowing who or what he was. Since she needed a bit of help, she created Klavia to assist her in her duty. The two of them became sisters and started building a palace out of Altea's ashes to honor the death of their ancestor. In 125, they were joined by "The Child From No Place" : nobody knew where he came from but Theraël and Klavia accepted him on Altea as a new God and nicknamed him Yevlan.
Theraël was crowned as a queen and started leading the mission they were given by Altea, but she quickly noticed she was too emotional to be a good ruler. Thus in 152, Klavia advised her to get rid of her negative emotions. She split them in two and gave birth to Acherus and Valryn, the Gods of Sadness and Anger.
In order to complete her mission, Theraël created two new children named Jaswinn and Oryndë, mixing her blood with earth and water. Yet she noticed Jaswinn and Oryndë were each other's soul-sister and therefore could not be Altea's; she had to think about another solution when she understood Thër would never be a God.
She then accepted Yevlan's idea to create a new species which would be mortal and could change with time to reach perfection : the idea of the ël (who started being called elves with time) was considered.
In order to gather all the mortals, the Altean Gods had to create a new place as well : thus Earth was born in 231 and it became Thër itself. Its creation definetly relieved Altea from their pain.
On the year 205, Theraël met Ferëv who created herself on her own and pretended to come from Theraël's love for Yevlan. Indeed, Theraël had started developing feelings for him without knowing it was love. Under Ferëv's influence, she decided to marry Yevlan, who became the King of Altea and ruled at her side.
Theraël got pregnant by Yevlan quickly after their first intercourses and considered aborting the kids because she had too much children already and couldn't manage them. Yet, Yevlan pressured her into keeping the children and she finally accepted to give birth to the twin brothers Nisis and Gweldas.
In 280, Yevlan insisted that she gave her another child, what Theraël categorically refused. Yevlan then tried to kill himself to blackmail her and Theraël felt forced to accept. After a whole year of unsuccessful tries and two miscarriages, she managed to give birth to Azran; just like for her twins, the labor was so painful it literally traumatized her both physically and mentally.
- PRIVATE LIFE
Theraël, as the Mother Goddess and Goddess of Maternity, is the mother of many Gods on Altea.
She's married to Yevlan and her marriage makes her unhappy because of his husband's toxic and manipulative personality. However, she doesn't see the red flags and is unable to divorce him.

RELATIONSHIPS
ALTEA
Theraël is the Goddess Altea created in their image and transmitted their powers to so she could create Thër when she grew up.
Theraël is very pious and invested in her mission : she often prays Altea. When she thinks she has failed something, she usually asks for Altea's pardon in the "ashes room" where Altea's ashes are kept.
Their well-being is the most important thing to Theraël, who sometimes neglects her own children's feelings to protect Altea.
When Theraël was just born, Altea's voice was still in her head and told her they "loved her deeply but couldn't stay with her".
YEVLAN
Tumblr media
Yevlan is Theraël's husband and she's deeply in love with him. Despite being married to someone she loves, Theraël is unhappy because Yevlan is toxic and abusive. Yet she doesn't see the problem because of her denial and Yevlan's manipulation skills.
Through the years they spent together, he became able to make her dependant enough to control her entirely. Theraël will always do her best to please her husband, even if it ends up hurting her. For example, since Ferëv convinced her that lovers should always share a bed, Theraël accepts having sex with Yevlan even when she doesn't want to. Yevlan raped her multiple times using coercion and the hurtful intercourses they had traumatized her.
Yevlan doesn't hesitate to hurt himself if Theraël doesn't obey him : he forced her to give birth to the sons she wanted to abort and to give him another child, threatening to kill himself otherwise.
Theraël is extremely devoted to Yevlan and would do anything for him to feel happy, always putting his needs before hers. Yevlan however, isn't in love with his wife and married her for power. He has no respect for her and spends his time cheating on her with mortals.
This toxic relationship caused Theraël to be even more depressed and her self-esteem to be at its lowest.
When she discovers about his infidelity, they first break up but he finally convinces her to accept an "open relationship" in which she has very few liberties, contrary to Yevlan who uses this excuse to openly cheat on her.
KLAVIA
Theraël created Klavia in 107 so she could guide and advise her. Since she genetically comes from Theraël's blood and Altea's ashes, she's technically both her daughter and little sister, but the two of them consider themselves as sisters and best friends.
Klavia also is the Royal Counselor and is always by Theraël's side, helping her taking the most important decisions on Altea. She's more useful than her husband when it comes to responsibilities, eventhough he's supposed to be the King.
She's undoubtely the person to be the most devoted to Theraël. Klavia is always here for her and supports her, not only politically but also emotionally during her darkest moments.
Theraël loves her sister just as much and always defends her in front of Yevlan : remove Klavia from the Council was the only thing Theraël refused to do for her husband. Yet, their relationship isn't totally balanced since Theraël doesn't have the mental health to reciprocate everything.
Klavia also is desperately trying to protect Theraël from Yevlan's abuse. She's able to detect the red flags and keeps warning her queen, in vain. The situation is very frustrating for Klavia, who feels helpless against her sister's visible decline.
They slept together once after Theraël discovered about Yevlan's adultery and was furious and desperate. She felt guilty afterwards and they never did it again, but it was the best intercourse of her life since Klavia was the first person to respect her sexual needs and limits.
NISIS
Nisis is one of Theraël's twin sons and therefore one of her first biological children. He was unwanted at first : Theraël's pregnancy was an accident and she wanted to abort, but Yevlan pressured her into keeping the twins. Theraël used to hate him when he was a child because he kept fighting with Gweldas, caused a lot of chaos on Altea and exhausted her.
Growing up, Nisis became wiser and more mature and earned the title of heir to the throne. The two of them bonded a little and Nisis is now Theraël's favorite son. She appreciates his calm and serious temperament and the maturity he has towards his responsibilities. She has a total trust in him when it comes to sit as a counselor.
GWELDAS
Just like Nisis', Gweldas' birth was an accident but Theraël learnt to love him after he stopped fighting with his brother. They don't spend much time together because Gweldas' excessive joyness tires her, yet she would do anything to protect her son.
Theraël can't see Gweldas as an adult because of his immaturity and contrary to Nisis, she wouldn't trust him enough to give him any more responsibility.
AZRAN
Azran is Theraël and Yevlan's youngest biological child. Theraël didn't desire them neither but her pregnancy wasn't accidental this time : Yevlan wanted another child at all cost and forced Theraël to bear it, threatening to kill himself if she refused. Theraël accepted but suffered a lot and kept huge traumas from the pregnancy and the labor. Therefore, she hated her child since the second they were born because she saw them as responsible for her pain. Theraël always refused to talk to Azran, not adressing them a single word for over 70 years. Partly because of this rejection and under Yevlan's influence, Azran started hating their mother back.
After their corruption arc, this hate worsened both ways. Theraël felt relieved when Klavia banished Azran from Altea after they corrupted the mortals. She never forgave their treason and didn't even try to.
VALRYN
Theraël hates Valryn just as much as Azran, if not more. Since he comes from her repressed anger, he was destructive and chaotic as a child already and used violence to get his mother's attention. His habit of breaking everything on Altea used to piss Theraël off and she didn't refrain from showing Valryn a strong despise.
His birth was motivated by the idea of getting rid of her emotions, but Theraël was obviously too young to be a mother aged 40 and made a lot of mistakes.
The affection she didn't give him caused Valryn to have parental issues and become even more brutal. Theraël never ever trusted him in anything and refused to let him join the Council : in 333, it offended him and he broke Altea in two throwing a tantrum.
His mother never forgave him and Valryn was the first God to ever be banished from Altea. They physically fought multiple times when he tried to come back and Theraël always won.
Theraël's hate towards Valryn is reciprocate and he wishes for her downfall since the day of his exile.
ACHERUS
Acherus is the third child Theraël hates the most, except it's not reciprocate.
He comes from her sadness and often makes her feel blue when they interact. Theraël saw him as useless and annoying when he still was on Altea, because he kept complaining about how life was hard and she thought his depression was taking too much space.
She didn't properly "hate" him until 375, when Acherus spread many diseases on Earth after losing Wyn's friendship and the control of his powers.
Seeing his son hurt such a sacred place drove Theraël crazy and she first gave him a second chance, asking him to fix his wrongs. Since Acherus didn't have the mental space and strength to do it, he was banished from Altea not long after his brother Valryn.
Theraël never forgave him but Acherus still has a deep respect and love for her.
JASWINN and ORYNDË
Jaswinn and Oryndë are amongst the rare children to be truly loved by Theraël. She considers them as her son and daughter since they come from her blood mixed with earth and water. Theraël appreciates the spouses' calm personalities and lifestyle : from the day they were born, they never misbehaved nor caused trouble on Altea. She can see a lot of harmony in their relationship and is positively affected by the purity of their love.
Theraël let Jaswinn and Oryndë distance themselves from Altea and settle on Earth, but she still sees them from time to time. She has a total trust in them and even offred them a seat on the Royal Council, which only Oryndë accepted.

I felt like drawing this scene from the Anriel in which Nisis is heartbroken because Jaswinn, the man he loves, keeps not showing to their multiple "dates".
But why someone as kind and respectful as Jaswinn would act like this ? Because he NEVER EVER asked him for a date.
Actually, Nisis' little sibling Azran told him Jaswinn was waiting for him but was too shy to directly tell him. Why ? Just to hurt him, because they're a bastard.
Of course Nisis believed them blindly because he's desperately in love and would have never thought Azran would play him such a nasty trick.
That bitch managed to manipulate him for more than a week, until Nisis had enough and talked to Jaswinn. He was so mad at him, really thinking he was the one playing with his heart, that they even argued in the end. They eventually made up but still, Nisis was heartbroken and still is.
The older drawing is more about the sadness he felt in the beginning, and the new one represents the end of this painful week. Considering he has anger issues, it's pretty consistent to imagine Nisis finally getting pissed off and throwing the flowers "Jaswinn" offered him on the floor 💔💔

TW : Coercion, manipulation, forced pregnancy, suicide
Okay the context of this one is absolutely awful. In the Anriel, Theraël is the Mother Goddess of Altea and is married to Yevlan, who is the most toxic and manipulative person EVER.
At this point of the story, they already have two biological children together (the twin brothers Gweldas and Nisis I mentioned in INKTOBER #1) Yevlan pressured Theraël to keep despite her desire to abort them. The thing is she has too much children already (about 6 of them, only the twins coming from Yevlan) and is struggling raising them. She actually HATES Kids BUT Yevlan wants another one.
At the beginning, Theraël refuses to get pregnant again so... Yevlan literally tries to kill himself so she will worry and give him everything he wants 🙃 Of course both know Gods can't die from suicide, but she doesn't want him to be hurt anymore and accepts to get another child.
And here's the story of Azran's birth (no need to wonder why she hates them right from the start) !
Yeah uh so Yevlan is an horrible person AND that's not the worst thing he will do.

ABILITIES
Gweldas has the duty and ability to make the morning come. He and his twin brother Nisis make sure the alternation of Night and Day is done and bring light to the mortals. The sun is Gweldas' heart and he rises it every day since the sky was created. For this purpose, he grew wings which make him able to fly.
He is the creator of "white magic", which is derived from Altea's original magic and whose strength comes from the sun. He could use it to fight but decided to become a pacifist after the War of Night and Day ended.
PERSONALITY
Gweldas in known for his excessive joyness but also for his very low intelligence. He acts childish and immature and rarely thinks before acting, not considering the consequences of what he does.
He's a naive and gullible person who stays positive under any circumstances and believes everyone is nice deep inside and can be redeemed, even the people who committed horrible crimes.
He can be extremely altruistic since he cares about people and wants to be nice and make everyone happy; but Gweldas also acts selfish, protecting himself by refusing to see the problems on Altea until it concerns him.
His energetic personality sometimes annoy the people around him : Gweldas is indeed very sociable, too talkative and noisy. He can't control his visible hyperactivity and is always moved and agitated.
His sincere kindness makes him unable to do anything evil but his stupid actions sometimes cause trouble or have serious consequences. He also has a terrible memory and is easily gaslighted and manipulated by Yevlan.
The notion of family is essential to him and he just wishes all his loved ones would get along and care for each other. He also is an hopeless romantic who dedicates all his energy to the people he's in love with.
During Yevlan's tyranny, he's one of the Gods to be the most devastated by the treason of the father he loved and admired. He tries to reason him thinking he can become a better person, but understands it won't work when Yevlan starts beating him. When the revolution begins, Gweldas is firstly unable to fight him, but is finally convinced by Nisis to join the battle.
After this incident, Gweldas' personality drastically changes. He loses hope in everything and gets so depressed he can't even take care of himself anymore and refuses to interact with anyone.
BACKSTORY
Gweldas was born in 207 at the same time as his twin brother Nisis. Their pregnancy was accidental and Theraël was planning to abort them, but Yevlan pressured her into keeping them.
In his childhood, Gweldas spent his time fighting with his brother. They had a strong hate for each other because of their opposite personalities, but also because they were both seeking for their mother's attention and love. They also became rivals and kept arguing about the throne, both wanting to become its heir.
In 273, Gweldas declared war on Nisis, who didn't take him seriously and thought he was too weak to actually attack him. His pride and arrogance caused Nisis to lose the war because he prepared it at the very last moment : Gweldas became the official heir and they agreed that the elves would live at day and rest at night.
After this incident, Yevlan and Theraël decided they would have to raise two daughters together, Aurore and Crépuscule, so they would bury the hatchet and become closer. They finally reconciliated, started bonding and even took care of their younger sibling Azran hand in hand. A few years later, Gweldas gave Nisis the throne because the responsibilities it came with were too hard for him.
From 330 to 332, he raised his daughters alone since Nisis was unable to help him because of his traumas. He gave them a questionable education, transmitted them his immaturity and is the responsible of their mischevious attitude.
In 342, Gweldas was attacked by Valryn who tried to steal the sun from him. The physical and psychological trauma caused him to finally enter adulthood. He decided to explore the world in order to feel better and met Valryn again on Demios. He pitied him when he saw him alone on his dark and deserted island, and decided to give him three sparkles coming from his heart to light the place. This act was considered as stupid and almost treacherous by Nisis : the twins argued and stopped interacting for seven years.
In order to avoid him, Gweldas spent some time on Earth : he met Eté and fell in love with her. They had a short affair and slept together many times, but they didn't communicate much : Eté was unaware of his romantic feelings and had been considering him as a sex friend the whole time. When they finally talked about it, they broke up for the better and remained good friends despite Gweldas' broken heart.
After Azran's corruption arc, Gweldas was heartbroken again and tried to put them back on the right track, in vain. In 380, he was comforted by a mortal named Hel'norii whose family was extremely devoted to the Gods and to him especially. After spending much time together, they fell in love and got married in 389.
Hel'norii settled down on Altea with him and the spouses lived a happy and peaceful life for almost one hundred years. Unfortunately, Hel'norii was deceived and manipulated by Azran who stole a part of her body and left her half-dead. Following Yevlan's advice, Gweldas used Wei's magic to save her life, which resulted in the creature losing all their powers. Because of the terrible consequences of this action and after Yevlan put the blame on him and his wife, Hel'norii was banned from Altea for life and Gweldas imprisoned for 10 years.
During these 10 years, Gweldas fell into a long-lasting depression and the sun completely stopped shining on Earth. The situation got back to normal after the spouses were reunited.
In 510, Gweldas witnessed Crépuscule's psychological decline and was the one to assist to Imshâr's birth. He was distressed and heartbroken by Yevlan's crimes, but still tried to reason him when he became a tyrant. After being submitted to his will and physically abused for 30 years, he hesitated to take part in the revolution for a long time but finally reluctantly accepted.
After the end of this terrible era, Gweldas got depressed again and never recovered from the trauma caused by the loss of his father and the suicide of his daughter. He lost hope in everything, mentally declined and never smiled like he used to again.
PRIVATE LIFE
Gweldas is a sociable person who acts friendly and is appreciated by almost everyone. He's especially close to his twin brother Nisis and they raise their daughters Aurore and Crépuscule togehter.
He had a short affair with Eté but finally broke up with her and married Hel'norii. They stayed together even after Hel'norii was banished from Altea, and he still visits her or sends her letters from time to time.

RELATIONSHIPS
NISIS
The relationship between Nisis and Gweldas positively evolved through years. In their childhood, they spent their time fighting because they were polar opposites and hated each other's personality. They also were in permanent rivalry for the throne and their mother's attention, so they caused a lot of trouble and their conflict even resulted in a 8 years long war.
After Theraël gave them the responsibility to raise Aurore and Crépuscule together and because Nisis stopped despising Gweldas, their relationship got better and they started bonding.
They are now fusional and rarely seen without each other. Gweldas became clingy and affectively dependant of Nisis, following him everywhere and talking to him all the time, to the point it sometimes annoys him. He's very grateful for all the moments Nisis put his life at risk to protect him, and explicitly expressed his love many times. Contrary to his brother, he usually craves physical contact and marks of affection.
Despite being extremely close, the twins sometimes still argue because of Nisis' anger issues and Gweldas' immaturity : Nisis made him cry multiple times treating him rudely without Gweldas understanding what he did wrong.
They never fought again but there still are tensions when it comes to raising their daughters. Gweldas wants them to have fun and stay innocent while Nisis tries to make them more mature and responsible. Gweldas always refused to listen to reason and thinks his brother is too strict.
HEL'NORII
Gweldas met Hel'norii on Earth while searching for Azran after they corrupted themselves and the mortals. She's a mortal herself and the only one to be accepted on Altea after they fell in love and Gweldas decided to marry her.
They're a loving couple and their personalities are quite alike, which results in a balanced and healthy relationship. They care a lot for each other and spend their time having fun together, not paying much attention to Altea's problems or even realizing they exist. The spouses were planning to start a family but Hel'norii lost her lower body part because of Azran during her pregnancy and had a miscarriage.
After his wife was banished from Altea, Gweldas fell into depression for 10 years and the sun stopped shining : this terrible situation convinced the Council to reunite the lovers again. However, only Gweldas is allowed to visit Hel'norii on Earth.
His responsibilities as a God make him unable to see her as often as he wants, but he visits her everytime he can and regularly sends her letters. They are forced to keep their relationship secret to the mortals or Hel'norii would be cursed for life.
When Gweldas loses hope and his will to live at the end of the story, Hel'norii is amongst the people who take care of him and help him going through his traumas.
YEVLAN
Gweldas is very close to his father and loves and admires him. He was the one who made most of his education and they used to play a lot together during Gweldas' childhood.
Just like the rest of his family, he's unable to detect the red flags and trusts him blindly, which makes Yevlan able to manipulate him without efforts. They share common traits such as sociability, immaturity and a penchant for fun.
Since Yevlan always seems to agree with him, he sometimes manages to rise him up against Nisis and to encourage their arguments. Gweldas isn't aware of the strong despise Yevlan has for him.
His unreserved love for his father will cause Gweldas not to want to take part in the revolution in the first place, but he will finally fight him after being reasoned by Nisis.
AURORE AND CRÉPUSCULE
Aurore and Crépuscule are Nisis and Gweldas' twin daughters. Theraël created them by mixing both their genes, thinking they would get along better if they started a family.
Even if they were technically unwanted, Gweldas always's loved his daughters, saying repeatedly they were the happiest thing that ever happened to him. He raised them alone for a whole year since Nisis wasn't able to do so because of his traumas.
Gweldas transmitted the twins his immaturity and they therefore turned out to be very mischievous. He encourages and sometimes even joins their stupid pranks. Nisis and he always argue about their education because Gweldas never scolds them and lets them do everything they want.
The three of them created a strong bond but Gweldas almost acts more like a friend than a father. He's not even able to tell them apart and always falls in the trap of them making each other pass as the other.
Crépuscule's suicide will traumatize him for life and he will never recover from it.
ÉTÉ
Été is Gweldas' ex-lover. He used to be in love with her, not being aware she only was looking for a sex friend because they didn't communicate about it.
They finally broke up when he understood his feelings were not reciprocal, but they forgave each other and stayed good friends afterwards.
AZRAN
When Azran was still a child, Gweldas and them had a strong and loving relationship. Gweldas took a great care of his sibling, Nisis and he giving them the affection they didn't receive from their mother.
Azran used to admire their big brothers and grew their own wings to look like them : Gweldas then taught them how to fly and they would spend most of their days together.
Unfortunately, a conflict between Nisis and Gweldas pushed them to neglect Azran a bit and they started thinking they hated them for doing something wrong.
After "comforting" them, Yevlan manipulated Azran and convinced them the twins despised them. The child developed an inferiority complex and started lusting after power to gain some recognition. Yevlan nourished this feeling until Azran hated their brothers out of jealousy.
Gweldas didn't understand why they were distancing from him and was heartbroken by Azran's criminal actions, not expecting them at all to corrupt themselves.
He started searching for them in order to reason them and bring back their kindness but never could.
VALRYN
After Gweldas developed his sociable and noisy personality, Valryn started hitting him because his energy overflow annoyed him. Gweldas never resented him and neither did he when Valryn started to kill him to steal the sun away from him.
He always forgave him and saw something redeemable in him, understanding his suffering. When he saw him alone on his desert island, he pitied him and offered him three sparkles coming from his heart so the light would come back on Demios.
For this reason, Valryn was grateful to him and Gweldas earned his respect and affection back. He was even able to convince him to pay his debt by not to trying to kill Imshâr.

- ABILITIES
Nisis has the duty and ability to make the evening come. He and his twin brother Gweldas make sure the alternation of Night and Day is done and bring light to the mortals. The moon is Nisis' heart and he rises it every night since the sky was created. For this purpose, he grew wings which make him able to fly.
He is the creator of "black magic", which is derived from Altea's original magic and whose strength comes from the moon. He fights using this offensive power but also is a great warrior who can handle several weapons.
- PERSONALITY
Nisis is a mature, serious and responsible person. He has good intentions but a bad temper and acts cold and cynical most of the time. He's often on the defensive and can react with aggressiveness. He struggles hiding his pessimism and weariness and has some kind of aversion for naivety and gullibility.
After being abused by his father, he developed trust issues and started showing signs of depression and anxiety. He protects himself from this permanent angst with irritability and can't control his rage. Nisis is easy to anger and often argues with people, his brother especially; when he's upset, it's hard for him to communicate and he can hurt people saying harmful things he does not always think. He usually regrets it right after but has trouble apologizing because he's too proud and stubborn.
He's rather resentful and will rarely give a second chance to someone he thinks hurt him on purpose. He would never hesitate to confront someone who lashed out at his loved ones. His general anger comes with violence issues and Nisis sometimes has to force himself not to fight or kill people.
Nisis quickly gets tired of long conversations and couldn't be considered as very sociable. However, he cares a lot about the few people he's close to and either shows this love with an over-protective behavior, or by softening a bit when he feels happy or confident.
He finds joy in music and singing alone at night appeases him.
He's a strict father who wants his children to be mature and stay safe, but sometimes accidentally acts toxic because he lacked good parental models as a kid.
- BACKSTORY
Nisis was born in 207 at the same time as his twin brother Gweldas. Their pregnancy was accidental and Theraël was planning to abort them, but Yevlan pressured her into keeping them.
In his childhood, Nisis spent his time fighting with his brother.
His pride and arrogance caused him to lose the war because he prepared it at the very last moment : Gweldas became the official heir and they agreed that the elves would live at day and rest at night.
Nisis was honored to join the Council and tried bonding with his father a bit more. He accidentally discovered about his adultery and was ultimately raped by him. Threatening to hurt his brother if he talked about it, Yevlan abused him for 40 years and Nisis developed chronical depression and anxiety.
After being beaten unconcious by his father in 332, he suddenly grew up to protect himself and the abuse stopped.
In 360, Nisis adopted Wyn, a mortal baby who became his son and he struggled to raise because of his past traumas.
When Yevlan was in power and ruled as a tyrant on Altea, he was imprisoned and tortured for questioning his orders, then joined the revolution motivated by the suicide of his daughter.
- PRIVATE LIFE
Nisis is a secret and distant person. He maintains cordial relationships with most his family but puts his trust in very few people. He's close to his twin brother Gweldas and his only true friends are Jaswinn, Ugraihn and Klavia.
He has non-reciprocate love feelings for Jaswinn and never had a romantic or sexual partner in his life.
He raises his daughters Aurore and Crépuscule with Gweldas and is the single father of Wyn.

RELATIONSHIPS
GWELDAS
Tumblr media
The relationship between Nisis and Gweldas positively evolved through years. In their childhood, they spent their time fighting because they were polar opposites and hated each other's personality. They also were in permanent rivalry for the throne and their mother's attention, so they caused a lot of trouble and their conflict even resulted in a 8 years long war.
After Theraël gave them the responsibility to raise Aurore and Crépuscule together and because Nisis stopped despising Gweldas, their relationship got better and they started bonding.
They are now fusional and rarely seen without each other. In opposition to Gweldas, Nisis doesn't show much love through hugs and kind words. He will rather act caring and protective, like when he almost got killed in a fight with Valryn or accepted Yevlan's abuse to protect Gweldas. Nisis would lose his mind if his brother was hurt. He's constantly worried that his innocence and lack of intelligence could put him in danger and carefully watches over him.
He someimes is tired by Gweldas because his extremely sociable, energetic and noisy personality annoys him. In these moments, he either distances himself or just yells at him. They sometimes still argue because of his anger issues and Gweldas' immaturity : Nisis made him cry multiple times treating him rudely and regretted afterwards.
They never fought again but there still are tensions when it comes to raising their daughters. Gweldas wants them to have fun and stay innocent while Nisis tries to make them more mature and responsible. He easily gets mad when he sees Gweldas encouraging or even joining the stupid things they do.
JASWINN
Jaswinn is Nisis' best friend. They met in Nisis' early childhood when Jaswinn was adult already, but Nisis still fell in love with him. Even after he grew up, this love was never reciprocate since Jaswinn is straight, married and happy with his wife.
Even after Nisis was forced under Azran's manipulation to confess to Jaswinn, they remained great friends and their bond never faded away. They regularly hang out together, both being each other's safe place.
Nisis acts very soft and caring with him. He knows and respects his boundaries, almost feeling honored to be one of the rare people Jaswinn accepts to talk to. They spend a lot of nights together, sometimes in complete silence, their calm and reserved personalities perfectly matching.
Jaswinn shows a huge interest in Nisis' music, which relaxes him and makes him happy : he's one of his muses and biggest inspiration. He also is a reliable moral support whose great parental advices helped him fixing his damaged relationship with his son.
YEVLAN
Tumblr media
Yevlan is Nisis' father but he refuses to see him that way. When he was a child, they struggled to create a bond because Nisis saw him as too immature and irresponsible; yet he still had a deep respect and love for him.
Their relationship degraded during his teenage years : after Nisis accidentally discovered about his infidelity, Yevlan raped him for the first time. He threatend to assult his brother too if he talked about it and carried on with the abuse for 40 years. It stopped in 330 only because Yevlan saw Nisis as unattractive when he brutally grew up.
Nisis is completely traumatized by his father he now hates, despises and fears at the same time. He never hesitates to express it publicly and tries to let everybody know that he is a bad person. Nisis therefore passes as the mean one when he insults him in front of the others. Nobody understands where this hate and aggressivity come from because Yevlan acts like a loving and sweet father who's treated rudely for no reason.
Despite trying to keep as many people as possible away from him, Nisis knows it is hopeless and that Yevlan will always be loved and admired. Since he can't take the risk to talk about the abuse, he has nothing to prove Yevlan is a manipulative criminal.
When he became a father himself, Nisis was terrified to become like him. Now his biggest fear is that Yevlan could assault his children too and his traumas made him an over-protective and extremely strict parent. This behavior almost destroyed his relationship with his son Wyn, who adored Yevlan and started hating Nisis who forbade him to see him for no apparent reason.
He will be devastated to discover Yevlan raped Crépuscule and that he couldn't protect her despite perfectly knowing about his criminal actions and deviances.
WYN
Wyn is Nisis' youngest child, a mortal baby he adopted on Earth and he blessed with immortality.
His love for him is infinite and he swore to protect him at all cost. Being terrified Yevlan could hurt or abuse him, Nisis developed an extreme and toxic severity towards him, trying to control his life to protect him.
When Wyn was very young, he taught him the world was a dangerous place and forbade him to leave Altea. Whenever he would go out of his room, Nisis used to follow him everywhere and gave him very little liberties.
He also tried to keep him away from Yevlan, in vain, and almost refused that he made friends because he couldn't trust in them.
His excessive strictness caused him to constantly argue with his son, who became resentful and started hating him. This situation psychologically damaged Nisis who begged for Jaswinn's help : his advices finally bettered their relationship.
When he understood over-controlling his son was counter-productive, he started giving him more liberties and independance. Wyn forgave his past mistakes, stopped hating him and they became close again.
AURORE AND CRÉPUSCULE
Aurore and Crépuscule are Nisis and Gweldas' twin daughters. Theraël created them by mixing both their genes, thinking they would get along better if they started a family.
Even if they were technically unwanted, Nisis always's loved his daughters. When they were born, he was still victim of incest from Yevlan and was scared he could become like him and assault them or hurt them too. Because of this fear, he first distanced himself from Aurore and Crépuscule and left it to Gweldas to raise them.
After having worked on it, Nisis came back to them and started bringing them up.
Gweldas and he have very opposite views on their education : Gweldas accords them almost everything and thinks the trouble they cause is cute and innocent, while Nisis desperately tries to put them back on the right track.
Since he is more permessive, Aurore and Crépuscule tend to be closer to Gweldas and they spend more time together because their personalities match better. Nonetheless, Nisis still created a strong bond with his daughters who respect him and love him back despite constantly disobeying him.
He's the only person who's able to tell them apart because he can differanciate the sound of their voices.
Nisis will never recover from Crépuscule's suicide and takes the blame for the sex abuse she lived, considering he couldn't protect her from Yevlan.
AZRAN
When Azran was still a child, Nisis and them had a strong and loving relationship. Nisis took a great care of his sibling, Gweldas and he giving them the affection they didn't receive from their mother.
Azran used to admire their big brothers and grew their own wings to look like them : Nisis then taught them how to preen and fly safely and they would spend most of their days together.
Azran decided to hurt Nisis as a revenge and played him a nasty trick which resulted in Nisis actually hating them back. They never made up afterwards and therefore Nisis was not surprised to see Azran corrupt themselves. He still felt sad to lose the sibling he used to love but never expressed it and contrary to Gweldas, didn't try to excuse them or get them back. He almost feel relieved when they were banished from Altea.
KLAVIA
Klavia befriended Nisis a bit after he became the heir to the throne and joined the Council. Both being loyal, honest and reasonable, they share the same principles and agree on many things. They have a great esteem for each other despite not talking much.
Klavia was the first person to suspect Yevlan from abusing him as a child, but he refused to talk it out. After Yevlan was defeated at the end of the story, Nisis finally confessed to her so his father would be properly judged for this crime. Even if he felt forced to talk about it, Nisis still was relieved to have someone he could trust, turn to and to support him.
UGRAIHN
Nisis is Ugraihn's first friend. When he arrived on Altea, most of the Gods feared and didn't trust Ugraihn because of his unglorious origins. Nisis refused to judge him because his relationship with Yevlan taught him that not all children reproduce or are responsible for their parents' bad actions.
After Nisis reassured Ugraihn and told him he was not doomed to become like his parents, they created a strong bond and started seeing each other oftenly.
They usually don't talk a lot but find peace in expressing themselves by training together, seeing their friendly fights as cathartic.
Ugraihn crafted Nisis a lot of swords and weapons; he cherishes and kept them all.
ACHERUS
The two of them became friends in 370, after Nisis temporarily experienced the same unpopularity and rejection as him.
Spending time with Nisis, Acherus also met and befriended Wyn. At first, Nisis was happy and relieved to see Wyn frequent people outside of Yevlan. His feelings towards Acherus changed when he heard him telling Wyn he "loved him", mistaking this awkward affection declaration for romantic interest. Thinking Acherus could abuse his son like Yevlan did him, he forbade them to see each other again.
After Jaswinn advised him, Nisis realized he was wrong and let them be friends again. However, he definetly started hating Acherus again after he accidentally gave Wyn nightmares. He threatened to kill him if he dared approach his son again, and was finally happy to see Acherus banished from Altea.
VALRYN
Nisis has a strong despise from Valryn since he started hitting his brother Gweldas. He always tried to defend his brother from him, not caring about the consequences and wounds it caused him.
When Valryn tried to kill Gweldas to steal the sun from him, Nisis fought him and almost died in the process but never regretted it.
He thinks Valryn clearly deserved his destitution, doesn't believe he can redeemed and insulted him multiple times.
JALIANA
Jaliana is Nisis' pet Gheran who follows him everywhere. He knows she's in love with him but doesn't reciprocate her feelings. He still treats her with a lot of affection and care. Jaliana brings him happiness and having a pet makes him feel less lonely.
He sees her as a cute and innocent little creature he has to protect and cherish.

ANRIEL - Klavia
Tumblr media
- ROLE
Klavia is Theraël's little sister and "daughter" she created. She's the Goddess of Justice and Temperance and the second God-dess to ever be born. She became Theraël's royal counselor and has the role to create rules on Altea and punish the Gods who violate them.

- ABILITIES
Since she's a child, Klavia seems to have the ability to slightly read into people's heart. She easily notices who's a good person or not and therefore, she can see that something is wrong with Yevlan's behavior. Yet, she never exactly knows what and is not always trusted by the other Gods because she can't explain her intuitions.
Her left eye shines when she tries to read into someone's heart.
Moreover, Klavia is able to fight with the needles she uses as hairpins. They are extremely powerful : she mutilated Azran with it to the point they lost their legs.
- PERSONALITY
Klavia is very mature and reasoned. She rarely lets her emotions and feelings overwhelm her and can appear as cold and heartless.
As a Goddess of Justice, she has strong morals and will never deviate from Altea's rules and her values. She tries to be as fair as possible when she has to punish the wrongdoers, and her main goal is that everything goes right on Altea and the less possible people are hurt.
For this purpose, Klavia can show high severity and stiffness. She won't forgive any violation of the law and won't hesitate to send someone in prison, even her own nephews and nieces.
Because of this cold and strict temper, Klavia is disliked by many Gods on Altea. She also is socially akward herself, which doesn't help her making friends. Since she can read into hearts, Klavia tends to only see what's negative in people and can't maintain long-term relationships. Moreover, she's not much of an entertraining person, what makes her even more impopular. She's an honest woman who hates lying and is often seen saying every thing crossing her mind, even if it's hurtful : truth is an important value to Klavia, who never sugarcoats things and thinks it's for the better. She can feel when people are being hypocritical with her and can't stand it.
Despite being isolated from most of her family, she's very close to Theraël and is highly devoted to her. Klavia does her best to advise her and be the best counselor as possible, even if her judgment isn't always perfect.
She would do anything for her queen, even sacrificing her own physical and mental health. During Yevlan's coup d'état near the end of The Anriel, Klavia refuses to surrender and keeps defending Theraël even if it causes her to be tortured.
- BACKSTORY
Klavia was created in 107 by Theraël, who merged Altea's ashes with her blood so she could have a friend and counselor by her side. She became the Goddess of Justice after creating rules on Altea in order to prevent Valryn from destroying everything.
She quickly became unpopular on Altea due to her distant personality and role as a punisher, which caused her to be feared and disliked. When Theraël married Yevlan, she was the only person who saw their relationship as problematic and tried to reason her sister. Seeing her depressed and exhausted, she decided to help her even more and to take the responsibilites Yevlan didn't honor, slowly getting burnt out.
Klavia was the one who bannished Valryn, Acherus and Azran for the harm they caused on Earth and Altea.
She met Ugraihn in 507 after he was accepted on Altea and bonded with him : it resulted in a loving yet dysfunctional romantic relationship, which brutally ended in 543.
During Yevlan's tyranny, she strongly disagreed with his deeds and stood against him : she was therefore imprisoned and tortured, even losing half of her body because of Azran.
- PRIVATE LIFE
In her personal life, Klavia tends to feel alone since she struggles making friends due to her cold personality. She barely can maintain long-term relationships.
In terms of sexual life, she once slept with Theraël but it was a one night stand and they never did it again.
Klavia also had a short romantic relationship with Ugraihn, but it only lasted a few decades because she was constantly hurt by the conflicts the God of War accidentally provoked. Nevertheless, their break-up was rather sane and benevolent and they remained good friends afterward.

RELATIONSHIPS
THERAËL
Klavia was created in 107 by Theraël so she could guide and advise her.
It was a one night stand but Klavia did her best to respect her sexual needs and limits.
YEVLAN
Klavia, as well as Nisis, is one of the rare people not to appreciate Yevlan. Since the very first day he arrived on Altea, she felt something was off with him and saw him as a danger without knowing why.
Before Yevlan married Theraël and started being abusive, he technically did nothing wrong but she read his heart as impure. Klavia then quickly noticed he was not treating her sister right and suspected him of even worse but couldn't prove it.
She also despises his laziness and immaturity, stating his behavior doesn't fit his responsibilities as a king.
Many times, she tried to warn Theraël about his toxic traits and save her from his abuse but always failed. The rest of the family doesn't trust her either when she says Yevlan is a bad person, which is frustrating for Klavia who feels helpless against his popularity.
Yevlan hates her back and does everything for her to be dismissed from her role as a counselor, but Theraël trusts her enough to keep her by her side.
They are often seen arguing and calling each other names. When Yevlan takes the throne, Klavia is the first person he sends to prison and gets tortured.
UGRAIHN
When he first arrived on Altea, Ugraihn was feared by most of the Gods because of his inglorious origins : Klavia was the first person to bond with him, as she saw something good in him and refrained from judging him.
They engaged in a romantic relationship not long after and this love helped them both with their self-esteem problems and loneliness. Yet, their couple quickly became dysfunctional : Ugraihn disagreed with some of her decisions as a ruler, mostly the one to banish his friend Acherus and mother Hel'norii from Altea. Klavia herself was tired and hurt by the conflicts Ugraihn regularly caused on Earth, even knowing it was accidental.
They argued a lot and struggled finding a balance in this fragile relationship, but stayed together for 40 years because they made each other happy. They finally broke up after the revolution because the traumas caused by Yevlan's tyranny damaged their bond a lot. Still, they remained good friends and treat each other with respect.
VALRYN, AZRAN and ACHERUS
Klavia is the one who decided Valryn, Azran and Acherus would be banished on Demios after causing chaos on Altea and Earth. She despises Valryn and Azran for what they did and their wicked personality; she hates Acherus less because she knows he acted out of clumsiness, but still won't forgive him.
At the end of the story, she accepts Acherus back on Altea after he proves his loyalty by taking part of the revolution. Acherus never did and will never resent Klavia from her decision to banish him, while Valryn and Azran deeply hate her. Therefore, Azran is very pleased to torture her on Yevlan's orders.
NISIS
Klavia befriended Nisis a bit after he became the heir to the throne and joined the Council. Both being loyal, honest and reasonable, they share the same principles and agree on many things. They have a great esteem for each other despite not talking much.
Klavia was the first person to suspect Yevlan from abusing him as a child, but he refused to talk it out. After Yevlan was defeated at the end of the story, Nisis finally confessed to her so his father would be properly judged for this crime.
FERËV
Ferëv and Klavia never liked each other. Klavia resents her for normalizing domestic abuse and convincing Theraël to stay with Yevlan and obey him.
Ferëv despised Klavia for a long time because she wasn't in a romantic relationship yet. She's one of the people who made her believe she was unworthy of love and made everything for her to feel insecure and humiliated.
