Heyy

It's been a short time since I uploaded any drawings, I'm sorry for that(?

Anyway, I share with you these 2 drawings that were part of a dtiys by different artists:

The first was part of @/pup_wackaboots in Instagram, I liked the concept of them being in the snow also referencing the song "Yakko's Universe"

The second and last one is of pinky and brain dancing on the ground, participating on behalf @weird-something-or-other, also from the same app.

I liked both a lot, because they are not just simple backgrounds that I always do but doing things differently and being able to improve, but I still gave a lot of effort so that they will look good 🤌✨

I hope to soon upload about one more drawing this month (if I have free time)

Seeing my old Animaniacs sketches gave me the urge draw. It started with me drawing older!Dot in some jeans, and now here I am with older!Warners and their kiddos.

I CHANGED THEIR INFO/BACKSTORY *i never really do aus so be patient with me, this is really just for fun*

adult!Wakko

In his late 30s

He’s a walking man child half of the time, always coming to Yakko about parenting advice *considering Yakko practically RAISED him*

He loves to cook and lets his kids help out in the kitchen (always cooking a big pot of Mac n cheese)

Since he can play a plethora of instruments *clearly musically talented* he’s in a band

Becoming an ol’ dad really wore down his wackiness (rarely see tongue out of mouth)

Barely takes care of himself (constantly tending to kids needs before his) *unless it’s deciding what’s for dinner, he gets hangry*

Embarrasses kids constantly in front of their friends *think Goofy Movie style*

adult!Yakko

In his mid 40s

He’s only become cockier and sassier with age (very witty, passionate, and plenty of dad jokes)

Is a father to foster children (or adopts kids from the streets)

He’s a grade school teacher, but is a radio personality (has his own radio podcast)

He was once a stand up comedian in the toon world fight me

Is close friends with Max in this au (Works at a retro bookstore)

In her mid 30s

Is a successful freelance businesswoman and proud mother

She’s the kind of person that would run for president, protest for human rights, beat up daughter’s bullies (list goes on)

She’s always trying out new things (for herself and her daughter) *very ambitious and tends to be impulsive*

She loves crafting and fashion (has a career in selling handmade clothes)

Is the “cool auntie” of the trio (she’s always bringing the kiddos gifts)

Mama bear (will go ham on someone who messes with her kid AND family)

Laffy (Wakko’s daughter)

16 years old *i changed up her design to make her look more teen*

Laffy is the “Tina Belcher” of the family. She’s awkward, but is here to have a good time

Like her dad/uncle/aunt, she loves music (is a musical theater kid)

Shy and quiet, but is loud and blaring when she wants to be (nerd behavior)

She has two best friends *WIP, will post refs in future*

Is embarrassed by her loony dad (but her friends secretly adore him)

Wammy (Wakko’s son)

10 years old

Wammy is the zany gremlin of the family (who still manages to be a good kid)

Barely seen without his beanie hat

Type of kid that’d steal cookies out of the cookie jar

Likes kid things (reading, cartoons, playing, eating junk food, etc.)

He loves his dad’s gag bag (constantly steals it and uses it in mischievous schemes)

Snickers (Dot’s daughter)

8 years old

Chaotic evil of the entire family (she inherited all her mom’s zaniness and wits)

Always joining Wammy’s mischief antics

Is in Girls Scouts (joined just to beat everyone in making the best pet rock)

Probably a sadist

Has definitely tried to take over the world (just to piss Brain off)

Pheww..!! This took a while 😅 but all the info is updated for this..? future/parent!Warners au??? The bottom comic shows Yakko’s foster kiddos, refs/info for them in the future. Older!Yakko takes in orphan kiddos and adopts them as his own. Am I incorporating childhood trauma and issues he needs to work on… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ probably??

Context: this drawing was part of a Halloween challenge on Discord to make one of the Warner brothers look scarier and/or creepier, so I chose the middle brother, based on an episode from the last season of the reboot where his belly is shown open as if come to life, looking like he is very hungry. The idea was to build on that by taking a more gloomy style with big fangs and everything kajshsjsk

I had already finished it for weeks but I couldn't decide whether to publish it before the 31st or last week, nor am I saying that it was the best when I did it, I wanted to get back to making creepy drawings 👁️👁️

Introducing the Animaniacs Art Museum

This is a side project I've been working on since last summer. I noticed that trying to find specific art on Tumblr was an annoying ordeal, at least to me. Posts are tagged inconsistently and the Tumblr search never shows you anything older than a few months. So, I decided to do something about it.

The @animaniacsartmuseum is an Animaniacs art blog where I've been reblogging a bunch of Animaniacs art on Tumblr from years past. This includes art of almost every character and segment that's been on the show. It's meticulously tagged in great detail to help you find exactly the kind of art you want to see. Every single post is reblogged directly from the original artist's account, so any appreciation you show through likes and reblogs will go straight to them.

Take a look at the pinned information post for a thorough explanation of all the tags and how to use the museum to its fullest.

Something I'm particularly proud of is the #under the radar tag, which shows off overlooked art that had less than 100 notes at the time I reblogged it. A lot of it is really, really good, and I would strongly encourage you to take a look through there and spread the word of these amazing pieces of art that didn't get the exposure they deserved. A similar tag that has a more narrow focus on really underrated art is the #LOOK AT THIS tag. If you do nothing else there, I'd encourage you to take a look through either of these tags and share the art you like.

I wanted to wait until the project was mostly finished before sharing it on my main blog, but it's turned out to be a massive undertaking that will still take a lot more time to complete. So, I figured there wouldn't be a better time to share it than on the eve of season 3. There are already almost a thousand pieces of art reblogged there right now, and probably another thousand on the way. If you're like me and didn't join the fandom until after its peak in 2020, this is a great way to look at all the art you missed. Even if you've been engaged the entire time, all the way back to 2011, I bet there's still some great art you've never seen before in there. I really dug deep to find some of it- some of the art doesn't even have 20 notes. Plus, if you follow now, you'll occasionally get a (very) healthy helping of Animaniacs art delivered to your Tumblr homepage as I continue to sift through every piece of Animaniacs art ever posted to this site.
