can i tell you guys something i was watching a speedbuild animal crossing video and the youtuber would talk about her process and then keep going "ohh well ive been fucking ANNOYING lol ill just shut up and let you enjoy the build 🤪" and not even 3 minutes of music later shed start talking again and the cycle would continue. i finally just muted her to watch the video

for the sims i reccomend lookin up build or generations challenges! build challenges give u a shell to work with or looking up other ppls builds/houses so that u can see what u wanna make!

generation challenges like 100 baby challenge or not so berry that give u themes to make sims of help u make up thibgs while still having rules to go with

or go buck wild and try to do the grilled cheese achievement or find every way for a sim to die. its a gane u can totally get lost at sea with so sometimes it nice just to make a clown and see how long it takes to make them get eaten by pirranahs

thank you lovely!! i think, from watching a few speedbuilds, that i'll run into the same problem that i did when i started animal crossing after watching speedbuilds, that is the fact that i simply do not have the inventory of an experienced player!! unfortunately i think i will have to work hard </3

would u redecorate my animal crossing island mines so damn ugly

ok listen the key to having a cute and aesthetic island is to make a moodboard beforehand. pick a theme or multiple themes that work together, for example mine is fallcore/cottagecore. some cool themes are towncore, springcore, grandmacore, tropical islands, desert islands, countryside islands. my new island is countryside/studio ghibli inspired. pick a color palette for ur items, flowers, houses. pick your codes beforehand and make sure they match and look nice together. pick a season and time to set your island that works with your theme and matches your codes. get villagers that match your island theme with homes that match your color palette unless you’re able to get the dlc and are willing to do a bunch of happy home paradise designs to get the ability to customize villager homes. practice clustering items that work well with each other even if you’re just gonna take it down later. dont overthink, just do. also dont be afraid to copy speedbuilds on youtube, those can be really helpful with inspiration and are also great terraforming practice. also get on pinterest and make an inspo board!!!! or follow a bunch of animal crossing instagrammers and save anything that inspires you.
