Are you a furry? (Asking out of curiosity, and because I consider myself one at times. Not to be rude or intrusive!)

Short answer: I guess I count as one? Meh. *shrug* 

Long answer: Here are some points, because I have Thoughts:1 – I’m gonna be silly and say I’m not into labels. I think I’m a furry in the broad sense that I think everyone’s a furry. Most of us have seen cartoons with anthro characters and enjoyed their characters, maybe crushed on them. When we were kids we saw them as “human” in the sense that we emphasised with and bonded with them, people-shaped or not. As these characters are “human”, furry porn isn’t any bigger stretch than porn of human fictional characters. The key is that they’re fictional and we bond with them; because of that, we can feel attraction to them. Everyone could be a furry, if you like a certain character enough. (1.5 – People say “I can’t believe people can crush on cartoons!”. I say “Of course they do. Cartoons are meant to represent people in some way.” It’s basic psychology. Humans can relate to ANY BEING. Humans can relate to objects! How are people this confused?!)

2. Many anthros are cool as hell. Fursuits are works of art and an impressive craft. I’m an artist, I like how creative they get! 3. Yeah I totally enjoy furry porn – if it contains my other kinks and/or I like the characters. (When I say I like a character, I can mean I like how they look, how they act, their personality, their concept, all of the above, etc.) I also enjoy human porn. The key is I don’t like making the distinction. I get that other people are not into furries but I’m also sick of people treating it like some WEEEIIRRRDDDD thing when to me, it’s like every other sex thing. And for reason 1, it’s not even that weird! 

4. My fav animal is owls. I joke that I’m an owl because they’re so cute and pretty and they make relatable faces. Birds are cool as hell. I like drawing myself too, and I would love to design an owl fursona (an avian sona!! :D). It would be awesome to dress up in wings and a beaked mask as a masquerade/costume party/cosplay thing. 

5. I don’t think I’m an “actual” furry because I don’t specialise in anthros as an artist, I’m not part of furry communities and I don’t think I “need” furry stuff.

(5.5 What the hell is a furry anyway? Is it someone who makes (sexy?) furry content? Who wears fursuits? Who fucks while wearing them? Who has a fursona? Only furries can define that. But people also looooove making assumptions and teasing/bullying others over it.)

6. People “accuse” each other of being furries like it’s a bad thing when it’s not! It’s neutral! Geez, just let people be happy and have fun!!! It hurts literally no one! 

7. Yeah I’m like you and I consider myself a furry at times?

8. But still… meh, sure.

(About the “not into labels”: I think it’s ironic, seeing as I am very much bisexual but bisexuals in fiction often pussyfoot around the word and claim they’re “not into labels”. I fucking love labels a lot of the time. I’m biiiii :D)

P.S.: As a lady writing a story about a dude who falls in love with a dragon couple who shapeshift into humans, I can with confidence say I’m a monster fucker.
