to be honest I think Toru could've been a great villain but he falls flat because the entirety of Jojolion's end was such a clusterfuck
#jojolion#jojolion spoilers#good concept with awful execution#i like the idea of the villain being yasuho's childhood friend that put on a ruse her whole life but his true intentions get dragged out#but in practice he just shows up in chapter 82 as some random dude that yasuho knows#and then in the last ten chapters the part is like ''oah he's actually the bad guyyyy you have 2 fight him now''#and then they fight and toru dies. his villain screentime is pretty much ''hi'' then ''bye''#if i had to rank jojo villains from fav to least fav (in terms of writing) i think it'd go#kira -> pucci -> part 1 dio -> funny valentine -> diavolo -> kars -> part 3 dio -> toru#of course in terms of how much i like them it'd be more like#diavolo -> pucci -> kira -> kars -> part 1 dio -> toru -> part 3 dio -> funny#or something like that idk some of them i like about equally#short posts#rambles
