shoutout to everyone who fucking called that there was another grimwalker, i could not IMAGINE how they'd be able to fit that into the narrative with the remaining time and found all the theories far-fetched. shows what i know. you're all geniuses.

however.

i'm not sure i saw ANYONE call that belos would FUCKING EAT HIM,

#animation that was tonally much more suited to an adult horror anime #i need to rewatch because there was so much going on but like #do grimwalkers have to be pulled out of the ground to wake up was that a full ass teenager. getting eaten.#or was the kid still percolating and/or already dead which is why the hand was Very Much Not The Right Color #what the fuck. what the fuck. and also?? what. the Fuck.#toh #toh spoilers #what's killing me is as far as i can tell there was NO reason it was narratively necessary #could've had belos gain the strength to go after another body in a different way #another grimwalker doesn't add anything new to the lore / the atrocities either #so all i can imagine is one of the animators like 'i want to draw belos dragging his bisected intestines across the floor so bad'#and someone else chimed in 'OMG CAN I DRAW HIM EATING A DIRT BABY AND THEN THE FLESH ROTTING INTO SKELETON'#and the whole room was like YEAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!#i love you whoever pitched this. i am so glad you're having fun #belos toh
