Into the Multiverse
// I am going to be making a list of verses Rein will be adapted to and link this post to my mobile page as well as updating my verses on my main page. It will be under Read more to keep the length short.
That being said I will list some constants that will be universal before the read more in case I don’t cover a said verse to allow greater interactions.
Constant States of Rein:
1. Always Neutral when it comes to one faction or another unless specifically stated.
2. Always a medic/doctor of sorts, the biggest reason for his neutrality
3. A passion for cooking, making custom foods/drinks, botany, and chemistry
4. Rein’s physical appearance is the same throughout his travels in every world
5. Where applicable the string magic he has is altered to fit.
For now I am only making verse for things I know well enough but I am open to exploring more as time goes on.
League of Legends: This is my default verse so I wont be covering to much hear but there are two sides to this. One where Rein keeps his Demacian heritage and supports them when he can, and a second where he sided with Noxus after being betrayed by his home.
Modern Times: Rein is a pastry chef/barista at a small coffee shop he owns. Often helps people that are down on their luck as best he can.
Medieval Times: An actual effective Plague Doctor
Rwby: A retired/failed hunter that switched to a medical profession after learning his semblance was better suited for support. He has an fascination with the grim which leads to him working with just about anyone as long as he can continue his research.
Pokemon: Honestly, just a random guy that collects pokemon that interest him. Best known for having sleeping with his Snorlax in the middle of towns.
Monster Hunter: An avid user of both the charge blade and gunlance with a greater focus on defensive combat. A seasoned hunter that often hunts with other rather than alone as a way to overcome his less than aggressive combat style.
DnD: This one is mostly for laughs. Rein is a Cleric or Druid.
More coming as things come to me

one of my fav dumbass jokes ive included in my dnd campaign:
so the party gets called to a poor village being ravaged by plague to escort a cleric to a nearby town for medicine
they’re greeted on the edge of town by a man dressed in a plague doctor uniform. it becomes increasingly clear from his speech pattern that he’s a kenku.
he tells you you’ll be escorting his husband, another plague doctor. he calls his husband over. the husband takes off his uniform and he’s an aarakocra under there.
the mask beaks were just straightup covering real beaks

I sent myself this ask because I'm bored. I will reply to this ask, because, I'm bored. I will most likely do something stupid in the response, like show one of my favorite gifs, or say "fuck" a lot, or show a meme I made in the last few days, because I've been making memes. They're mostly dnd memes about my party and DM but I'm really excited about my character so I might just ramble about that. Yeah imma do dat.
Tumblr media
This is one of my favorite gifs.
I don’t feel like saying fuck
My character is a kenku (bird person) named Cure. Kenku don’t have their own voice, don’t have creativity and were banished to the land of DnD by their god, who didn’t like them collecting shinies. Which, shame on you god, birds are meant to collect shinies! It’s in their fucking nature! Fuck you god! please keep in mind that this asshole god who banished my babies is not at all a god that people actually believe in except if... you believe in dnd gods....
Anyway, Cure has a whole plague doctor outfit, which is incredibly funny because kenku have BIG BEAK. + plague doctor mask, how the fuck does that fit. HOW. They’re a divine soul sorcerer, which is magic dude that heals, which funnily enough didn’t develop because of the VERY OBVIOUS part of him being a PLAGUE DOCTOR. He introduces himself by saying “I am the cure” which is not at all a reference to a certain SCP I forgot the number of. He’s gone adventuring because his sister, Remedy, (Fight me fuckers, her name is Remedy) is sick and he’s looking for a.... he’s..... his name. It’s not hard to understand. fuck. So she’s the reason he’s gone and focus on the healings madjiks. Which I realized a few sentences ago also fits with the whole plague doctor thing. Also, since he’s a sorcerer, he’s got mainly charisma which I rolled a fucking 18 for. Which is HIGH. So I’m going to abuse that charisma to seduce, and my pick up line is “You are my cure”, and I’ve got no idea where he heard that but I like it. just think of a big bird with arms and no wings and a plague doctor outfit looking you deep in the eyes, leaning slightly forward and saying seductively in a preferably deep voice “You are my cure”. Now I’m not a furry nor turned on by that but it’s funny so I’m definitely doing that. Fuck the DM. Don’t fuck the DM he’s my friend and also creepy. But fuck his plans for the game! So, since it’s an aberration campaign apparently, and I had to pick a language, I picked deep speech as one of Cure’s languages, and I’ve made a meme that explains his predicament with that, so I’m going to place that here.
Tumblr media
Poor Cure. I’m laughing at you and am not at all feeling empathy towards your situation. You are a joke made when I was stuck on the question of what my character is and everyone agreed that it was a good idea. You are a mistake. I love you, you piece of shit. Good boy, have some bread. *throws the crows some bread*
I’ve thought about making Cure family of my other kenku character, Hoot, (yes I’ve made a crow person and named them Hoot, this is DnD I will fuck with names whenever I want) but I don’t think that’ll be a good idea since hoot is a fucking basic binch. Her motivation is “getting wings”, which is so basic and lame for a kenku like wtf binch get your shit straight. Hoot is also fun, she hates the gods for what they did to her people and she’s a druid trying to mix her crow form with her normal bird-person form and give herself wings. Which is very different from Cure, who is a sorcerer that’s got “favored by the gods” which is funny because kenku, and apperently sorcerers can get magical wings late-game? That’s what my DM said, so Cure has more chance to actually get wings than the one who’s goal it is to get wings, but damn if his sister doesn’t die she’s going to be my next character and you bet she’s going to be a bard. Or a cleric.
I’ve formed a deep love for kenku the moment I heard of them, but it’s better than being a goddamn tabaxi lizardfolk because you can’t fucking choose between the 2 *glares at very specific party member*

IT’S BELLAMY BRIAR!!! HE’S MY DND OC. HERE’S SOME ART OF HIM. NOW IM GONNA TALK ABOUT HIM THANK U FOR VIEWING AND MAYBE READING PLEASE LOVE MY BOY THANKS.
Bellamy Briar is an undead revenant ghost, who was brought back from death by an evil god of the unknown, dreams and secrets, The Hidden One, after Bellamy ritualistically sacrificed himself in a failed attempt to save his dying daughter.
He’s my oc and dnd character, and he is my favourite and most developed and complex oc I have ever made in my 15+ years of writing ocs. I originally created and played him for a (currently on hiatus) Curse of Strahd dnd campaign where he’s a plague doctor grave cleric with a penchant for being undead, rapier fighting, letting party members die before deciding he should heal them, and generally being the freaky resident cryptid everyone hates. He hides his appearance and nature behind a plague mask; in the campaign the party has no idea that he’s dead, and until I revealed it outside of the game during the current hiatus, the other players had no idea either.
💉💀 🌹  DR BELLAMY BRIAR  🌹💀💉
Age: ~100 at time of death, ~160+? at campaign start
Height: 6’4”
Pronouns: he/him
Race: sun elf w/ UA Revenant subrace
Class: grave cleric
Occupation: surgeon, physician, apothecary, plague doctor, failed dad, local sad ghost boy, horny goth priest dtf
Other shit: Gay, aspie, occultist, left handed, in love with fantasy satan oops
Alignment: neutral good (alive) / chaotic neutral (dead)
Proficiencies: Medicine (expertise, +10 babyee), history, insight, perception, intimidation
BACKSTORY!!!
In life, he was a gentle, mild mannered genius surgeon and doctor obsessed with the occult and stalked by a sinister figure in his dreams - the Hidden One  (true name Indrik, @jacobin my dm’s oc and npc), watching and waiting for his prophecy to begin, of which Bellamy was supposed to be a core part of. Born in Barovia to displaced elven parents, he had a childhood of emotional neglect and abuse as his parents attempted to shape him into the black sheep prodigal son they believed would absolve him of his crime of being accidentally born, which trapped them forever with a newborn son in the purgatory-esque demiplane of Barovia.
When his sleepy rural village is obliterated by a terrible plague, Bellamy becomes the town’s plague doctor, desperately attempting to halt the inevitable. But then his adopted daughter - Anya, who Bellamy adores more than anything in the world -  falls ill to the plague. Unable to find a way to save her he turns to occultism, black magic, blood magic and cannibalism, necromancy, all the while rapidly losing his grip on sanity and wildly experimenting with darker and darker magic.
With all his options exhausted, his village in ruins and Anya dying, he turns to long gone old gods in desperation. Alone, insane with grief, with nothing left to live for, he cuts out his own heart in ritualistic sacrifice, offering his own life and body in return for Anya’s to an unknown god he preys to........ who turns out to be the Hidden One, watching god from his dreams, furious that his prophecy tool has managed to kill himself before the prophecy could even begin.
Tumblr media
The Hidden One, far from done with him, forms a pact with Bellamy to exchange Bellamy’s life for Anya’s.... but instead, brings Bellamy back to undeath as an empty ghost - devoid of body, emotion and humanity after the Hidden One eats his heart, ‘blessed’ with clerical powers over life death and the grave - and steals Anya’s dying soul to keep her ‘alive’ with him in the Abyss as his carrot on a stick to control and pacify Bellamy. Now he’s doomed to wander the countryside as a puppet spy for his god, obsessed with the idea of saving Anya’s soul, terribly lonely and unable to relate with the living he hides among while being forever cursed to haunt the plague doctor suit he died in.
Outside of current canon dnd story, I have likeee 70k+ words of prose written about Bellamy and uhhhhhhh also he and the Hidden One/Indrik end up oops enemies to lovers and my dm @jacobin and I are furiously obsessed with these two and I have literally not cared about or been more obsessed with a ship in my entire life, they are terribly sad boys in intense terrible love and have no idea how to make it work because one is a broken lonely god and the other is a broken lonely ghost and ALL THEY WANNA DO IS KISS AND BE HAPPY!!!!!

For the headcanon AU thing the whole game is just sole and the companions playing D&D
My best friend helped me with this one. She’s the one that got me into DND and into being a DM c:
Preston- DM Danse- Paladin  Deacon- Bard Curie- Druid  Cait- Fighter Strong- Barbarian  Hancock- Rogue  Codsworth- Wizard  Mac- Ranger Piper- Rogue  X6- Assassin  Nick- Ranger
Preston is the DM, as he’s the only one willing and patient enough to put in the painful work it takes to build worlds and stories. He’s also the one that likes sending his adventurers off to save various towns from misfortune. He likes to build stories based off his players’ backgrounds to give them more life and fun. Most of the time he tries to make it a happy ending but, it doesn’t always work out.
Danse is a paladin who follows a steampunk-ish order that views automaton makers and the automatons themselves as similar to necromancers, in that they both seek to create life out of what was not previously living. Spoiler alert- Preston may be a fair, kind, and giving DM, but if you piss him off enough, like when Danse kept being a huge dick to Deacon, Nick, and Hancock, he might make things a bit interesting. As in, he “reveals” that Danse’s character was actually an advanced automaton his whole life, and, when found out, his whole order turned on him. ((Don’t be dicks kids, because the DM can and will turn on you c: ))
Curie plays as a druid. She originally wanted to be a cleric, but she wanted to talk to animals and shape shift. Her character was a doctor who wanted to explore the world and help other people and animals.
Strong plays as the barbaric giant who left his giant clan in search of better strength and knowledge. Mostly strength, though. To achieve this goal of strength, Strong’s character’s life quest is to find the milk, called The Legend-Dairy, that grants continuous +5000 strength. To get in character, and because he honestly loves milk, at every game he brings jugs of milk, at least two, and drinks them both through out the game session. Sometimes he shares but sometimes he doesn’t.
Codsworth is a robot wizard that started out only wanting to play one game but honestly got hooked on the game. He only agreed to play if he could play as a butler npc for Sole’s character but only if he got to be a robot. His wizard only knows flame and has a fancy, intricate serrated sword and can be very comedic.
Cait originally wasn’t going to play either, but wanted to be with her friends. In the beginning of the campaign Cait had serious addictions but, with the help of her friends, was convinced to go to rehab and to join a group for people struggling with addiction and her character ended up going through the change with her. This led to the character meaning a lot to Cait. She would be genuinely distraught if anything happened to her. Cait’s character is a Fighter with a rough past and a strong future ahead of her. For her, its difficult to trust others but somehow, she found a very trusting family that helps her get through tough times.
Mac is a lone ranger who is one of, if not the best. His bow looks dingy but is well kept and very reliable. His crossbow is made of the best lightweight metals out there and is nicknamed Lucy, his lost love, and is even etched on the metal crossbow’s side. His character is a badass fighter who knows no fear. Outside of his character, he’s a complete nerd who doesn’t swear so his kid, Duncan, doesn’t hear him. He can’t stop the others from swearing but his kid isn’t trying and looking up to them.
Piper plays a rogue who travels around the world to find mysteries and uncovers the truth behind them. No secret will evade her, and she will find the truth and serve out justice where it’s needed. Also, Piper’s sister, Nat plays an npc when she has to babysit and brings her along. The group loves Nat but Piper can find her a bit annoying sometimes. But, no matter what, they both end up having fun.
Nick wanted to play a noir campaign but made due with an automaton P.I. with a noir aesthetic. Nick’s character, an old, beat up automaton P.I. ranger, travels around helping those who will accept his help or is desperate enough to try anything. Lost children, attacks on livestock, thieves in the night, nothing will escape his careful eye to help those in need. He uses a crossbow that is just as beat up as he is, but is just as trustworthy as Nick.
Deacon, the dork that he is, is a bard that puts all his points into disguises and charisma. He wears a fake mustache to all the games. It’s a different mustache every time and he won’t tell anyone where he got them all, pretending that his obviously fake mustaches are very very real, of course. It helps him get into character.
((Edit))
X6 doesn’t always play, but when he does get around to playing he plays an automaton assassin, the same kind of automaton Danse is. He plays an assassin that’s from the order Danse opposed.
Hancock is a rogue homebrew ghoul. His character grew up with only his brother. Together, they founded a city that was the beacon of the country. Soon after the automaton crisis began, his brother started acting differently, and started changing rules of the city. People who were affected by the mutation caused by a curse from an evil magic group called ATOM were evicted from their homes and thrown out, as his brother caused the people to believe that they were in cahoots with ATOM and were there to spread their plague. These people were called ghouls. Soon after this, Hancock’s character left the city, and his brother, and eventually and accidentally, he became a ghoul himself. Throughout his travels he found a run-down town and helped shape it up, which gained him upstanding in town that lead him to become mayor. He holds that title with honor.

How Clayton started the zombie apocalypse
We’ve started a game of DnD set in the ancient city Londinium, and so far it’s going...not great for our poor characters.
So far we’ve fought crocodiles, failed to stop a huge fire and a plague, and Clayton (my character) single-handedly started the zombie apocalypse...
We follow the characters Clayton (basically a doctor modified from the cleric class) and Trudy, the tinkerer/gunslinger. They have set up their shops after Clayton arrived from abroad and Trudy lost her workshop when her father died, in Trudy’s old workshop. The shops are now called Clayton’s Clinic and Trudy’s Trinkets.
Their first adventure they met “a huge frog-like thing with a long snout and many sharp teeth”. Players: “Crocodile!!” Characters: “Dragon!!!”. We defeat the “dragon”.
Later, there is a fire which consumes 1/3 of the city. Clayton is there to take care of the people who’ve been injured, but nothing can be done to save that part of the city.
As a result, there are many people have been driven from their homes, and then a sickness starts to spread. It stats with a boy who knocks at Clayton’s door at night. His family is sick and Clayton can’t save them. More and more people get sick and die, and soon another 1/3 of the city is dead or dying in this desease. It is, however, contained to one part of the city, and that part is later sealed off by the authorities.
By the time Clayton and Trudy investigates it is too late to save anyone in that part of the city.
--
That part of the city is still closed off, and Clayton and Trudy have heard about soldiers being sent into the zone and not coming back out. They decide to investigate. Are people still sick? Are they all dead? What’s going on?
They sneak over the barricade in the dead of night, and arrive in a ghost town. It’s very quiet and empty, but after a while they hear footsteps. They hide in an alley and see a woman and a group of soldiers. The woman vomits in a soldier’s face and is then shot. The soldiers back away from the soldier who’s been vomited on, and then they shoot him dead too.
After the soldiers leave, Trudy and Clayton investigate the bodies. The woman has black goo around the mouth, and Clayton puts some of it in a vial to study. Clayton sees an NPC and shouts for him (Trudy goes further into her alley and silently curses at Clayton). The NPC tells him that people are getting sick and getting aggressive. Their eyes get bloodshot and they try to attack people. Alarmed, Clayton realises that this is something seperate from the plague, but he tries to find a natural scientific explanation for it (so far unsuccessfully).
The NPC goes away (Clayton convinced him that he was trapped on the inside too, but had had a large food-supply). Trudy berates Clayton for his stupidity in talking to potentially sick and dangerous people.
So, naturally, when they see a crying five-year-old girl, Clayton instantly approaches her and comforts her. (I the player know that this is probably a B A D idea, but I rolled for Clayton’s resolve... Nat1). Clayton and Trudy call off their search for clues to take the girl, Mira, away from the zone.
On the way out they meet an infected person, and a bettle ensues, in which Clayton is useless and Trudy is badass. Trudy kills the infected man, but the gunshots were loud and now they’re being chased. They hurry back to the place where they went over the barricade last time, where Trudy attached a rope, so they’d be able to get out (it’s much easier to get in than out).
They get out without problems, and get Mira out, but as they run away from the barricade Mira begins to squirm in Clayton’s arms. Naturally, she has been infected and vomits into Clayton’s face, who instinctively releases her. Mira runs away in another direction, and Clayton has now started the zombie apocalypse in the remaining 1/3 of Londinium.

TOON BELLAMY.
I wanted to draw a cute stylized reference of.. my dnd oc Bellamy Briar... looking like the fancy long dad he is (was).
Ingredients that comprise bellamy: 70% leg; big glasses; big hair; big ears; big nose; big dimples. Somebody get this skinny tired boy some decent food and sleep. His sclera are actually dark grey!
I play Bellamy in a Curse of Strahd game and he’s developed as an oc in his own original plotline! He’s a Grave Cleric Revenant, who used to be a sun elf when he was alive. He’s also a doctor, surgeon, plague doctor, and straight up a ghost - when he died, he lost his body and returned to the living world as a horrific abyssal wraith being, and he disguises his undead nature from people (and his own party members who don’t know!) behind the plague doctor mask he died in.
How did he die? After his adopted daughter was infected with the plague that was decimating their sleepy rural village, Bellamy prayed to an evil god to save her, cutting out his own heart in an occult sacrificial ritual in exchange for her life. Too bad the god, The Hidden One (true name Indrik, owned by @jacobin, had other prophetic plans for him. :^) Now he’s an empty plague suit wandering Barovia, in thrall to his god (and eventually lover) of secrets, the unknown, pacts and dreams.
When alive he was very sweet, gentle, self-sacrificing and desperate for any kind of love or validation after a history of abuse and emotional neglect; as a Revenant, he’s mechanical, robotic and devoid of complex emotion, unable to understand or relate to the living after being dead for many decades.
ANYWAY HERE’s MY BOY check out more stuff about him in my tag including his ghosty form!
ALSO, FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER! I’m more active and post art there more!

heres a wip... of an illustration of my ghost dnd oc bellamy briar........... it was supposed to be a reference practice painting but it got CRAZY OUT OF HAND and im really excited to finish it!
bellamy’s an undead ghost doctor in thrall to his evil god of the unknown, secrets and dreams - The Hidden One/Indrik, belongs to @jacobin - who he cut out his own heart in occult sacrifice to in a failed attempt to save his dying daughter. Usually he’s just a spooky incorporeal shadow person ghost but sometimes also he gets his pretty boy gay elf face back to KISS FANTASY SATAN W.
I play him in a Curse of Strahd game where he’s a plague doctor Grave Cleric sun elf with the UA Revenant subrace! he gets up to a lot of funny business sneaking into medical clinics to cut out peoples hearts for his god boyfriend to snack on and generally being a weird literal cryptid who only heals people when they’re dying because his concept of life and death is terribly distorted
U CAN SEE MORE BELLAMY STUFF ON MY BLOG THANK U HE IS MY FAV BOY FAV OC
