pagan min as a dragon.............this idea has been in my head for so long i’ve got like prototype pagan dragons and shit but this is my final design for him

if you want to see me go in-depth about him for reasons that are related to mental illness (i have it and it is his fault) there is more :)

okay so. i’m going to explain his entire design since it makes me happy and i’m going to start with the colors

obviously he’s super flashy and extravagant in canon so i couldn’t just Not let that cross over here. i tried to make him look like a living rainbow without actually making him a rainbow BUT i do have my reasons for each of the colors.

the golden orange-y and yellow parts are obviously, well, to represent gold and the fact that he is ummmmmmm Technically royalty despite stealing the throne? the combination of blue on gold is relative to the golden path and how he and ishwari were a thing yada yada . red is for the primary color his army wears and for lakshmana because her whole shrine is decked out in the color red and pink is for his lovely suit:)

...i couldn’t make it that vibrant pink his suit actually is or it wouldn’t have fit as well into the rest of the colors. also. all the colors are taken off the rakshasa pagan thingy but i gave them meaning to make it fancier ++++ it wasn’t my intention but the way his colors fade into each other reminds me of all the colorful ?dust (i don’t know what it is. is it just powder) in far cry 4 so that makes me happy

speaking of rakshasa pagan, the other parts of his design are very much based off of it. specifically, the bird one in shangri-la. i included the way pagan’s rakshasa face looks as best as i could but the rest of the little intricate details i all sponged off of the bird, like the armor and the crown and the huge talons. the crown i felt especially needed to be included if nothing else bc well. y’know LMAO

the vaguely peacock-looking feathers are because that seems to be his motif for himself and his army and kyrat or whatever tf i don’t really know. all i know is i see peacocks associated with him and BAM he gets some pretty feathers

p.s. ik the pose is weird in that image let’s all hold hands and pretend that he’s climbing down from something

okay bear with me . the wing size might be inconsistent but shhh don’t look at that it isn’t there also thanks to tumblr for maybe tanking the quality of these (we’ll see) . ANYWAY

he gets multiple limbs because of the golden statues (or statue singular? is there just one? i haven’t played it but god i want to) that are in his dlc and it gives me another reason to stretch the definition of “dragon” which is always super fun for me :)

his face is mostly immobile aside from being able to blink and breathe and close/open his mouth but it’s like his jaw is on hinges with the way it can only move up and down (and stiffly) because i want it to really feel like he’s got a mask on or something. like if you look at the rakshasa bird its face isn’t all that. mobile. it is made of some kind of metal i think and i tried to mimic that effect + the idea of his mask in the dlc

another p.s.! let’s all keep holding hands and pretending . this time he’s landing after flying. he doesn’t normally stand on two feet

his wings are heavy to the point that his front legs can’t really support him properly sometimes even though he’s got two pairs, so he often uses his wings as support to walk like how wyverns do. he feels like it’s inconvenient because he doesn’t want to get his feathers dirty and without a beak/easy way to close his mouth it’s annoying for him to preen them but that’s just an L he has to take

and this is just him flying 4 literally no reason. i struggle drawing animals/beings that have wings in flight (and also i struggle with the tucked-in legs that come with those) so i wanted to see if i could. i think it turned out okay? maybe

i hope this made sense and that i wasn’t totally incoherent about this! thank you for reading (if you did) (and perhaps expect more dragons... i’m a big fan of them lol)

Favorite Relationship: kuro <3 it's cute how he actually engages in conversation w Kuro i like how he talks w him and how Kuro talks w him it's nice.. i think his relationship w Owl is interesting but not . good. Emma + Isshin + Sculptor & every other friend he meets i enjoy esp Kotaro ^^

Headcanon: *gives him transgenderism + autism + homosexuality*, selectively mute (:, he also just has a general issue w socializing & when he doesnt know what to say he defaults to repeating people or just ignoring people, he likes being called Wolf by like Kuro and whoever but Isshin deciding to call him Sekiro makes him feel a little something (:, he can "cook" + knows lots of misc skills like sewing and stuff, doesnt like loud noises, doesn't like being in water -_-, i think he has trouble differentiating b/t what he likes v what he dislikes bc hes used to just putting up w things and never really got to acquire preferences ever hes accustomed solely to survival, he's done kuro's hair for him before <3 but he does it very quick and messy but he tries

Favorite Moment: her k1 substory always makes me sad um.. everything in k2 when shes taking charge.. i love watching her interact w kiryu they have a really interesting relationship.. i like when she got on ryuji for his bullshit and i really really like her introduction in k2 i love watching her handle shitty lieutenants <3 i love you.. oh also whenever she looks sad + worries over daigo thank you for being a mom ma'am <3

Idea for a Story: um i have a lot of stuff already written for her bc im a sicko .. um ig most interesting to me is how her relationship w dojima developed & also what she was up to when dojima died and daigo went to prison right after bc i think about that period (+k1 substory) a lot.. </3 seeing what she was doing in 3 when daigo was shot would be nice iwant her to be homophobic to mine i think <3 ik a rggo event covered it but id like to see more of her when she stepped up to he acting chairman & how that went ig more in depth.. or just her general role w the dojima family back when it was relevant and uh yeah <3

Headcanon: she's so bisexual shes very very bisexual and she knows it and no part of it even concerns her shes just bi + also her first major crush was on a girl that went nowhere and it embarrasses her to death <3, her dad is who introduced her to wielding a sword it was a very unorthodox introduction and came about by kind of bittersweet means but she very much enjoys it (he didnt teach her anything more than the very very shoddy basics he really just helped introduce), she comes from a very non-traditional [japanese] family, really bad vanity issues i wont publicly elaborate on, um something about dealing w loneliness, she was like daigo and was top of her class in school, she comes off as prett7 different outside of professional settings + acts a lot colder and meaner than she actually is around work people bc that's the only way she thinks she'll be taken seriously, she was a very excited first time mommy <3 she still loves daigo more than anything, she used to sporadically grow her hair out and chop it all off and grow her hair out and chop it all off growing up mostly as a teen -_-, she doesnt socialize well but shes good at parroting and imitating proper social etiquette, she has an "older sister", she loved kiryu and then she hated him more than anything and now she likes him again, perfectionist but a lot of things come naturally to her, not very expressive but her eyes give away a lot, she used to really like kazama very fondly until she didnt, shes not much of a hand-to-hand combat fighter but she can handle self defense, cooking does not come naturally to her ):, shes kept every gift + prize daigo has gotten for her, shes not much for gifts (from people not daigo) but she likes flowers

Favorite Moment: hanging out w haruka in rgg5 or any time he is having fun w hana <3 his one substory in rgg5 where you get more of his background is nice or when he first gets together with shinada + tanimura is funny.. anything that's not rgg6 um

Idea for a Story: i want him to hang out w haruka more <3 or just some of his day to day life.. what he splurges on when he does ummm.. background on when he and hana first met + his ex fiance, hin hanging out w the rest of the group .. anything fun i think ^_^

Unpopular Opinion: he has annoying/questionable moments but so does everyone in the series um.. akiyama/hana is superior when he crushes on her hard vs her to him idk if that's even unpopular ummm idk idek any freak stuff w him nobody talks about akiyama much

Favorite Relationship: hana (: trans bisexuality <3 him + kiryu & haruka are sweet together, him and tanimura are fun.. i think hes a nice central point for both 4+5 protags i just enjoy him <3 hes good w people

Headcanon: hes the least athletic i think that's canon though, tried to keep a fish tank in the office but hana ended up taking over + then getting rid of it but by then he wanted an office cat or bird or something "more interesting" so that hed feel like taking care if it but by that point she put her foot down on animals, tries out lots of misc hobbies that he eventually drops (golf, tennis(very embarrassing), gardening, etc (mostly sports bc he feels like a lazy piece of shit sometimes + gets splurges of Yeah Fitness!!!)), all kinds of math teams and etc growing up he actually really likes math, has a lot of gifts he chickened out on giving hana just kind of buried in the office, bad at video games, can't cook, he buys lots of cheap things bc he doesnt really see the point of splurging on fancy unnecessary stuff, magazine hoarder bc he just picks up whatever for a mindless read when at the store and forgets if he's gotten it before

I don’t want to make an account to upload my builds on FEH sites so i’m putting them here cuz i put a lot of thought into them

Starting out with Brave Celica

Weapon: Royal Sword + Eff Upgrading Celica’s weapon with her special effect makes her much more effective and allows an almost guaranteed trigger of her special each turn.

Assist: Pivot I use Pivot on BC to retreat behind more defensive units, if needed. For example, after killing a foe and activating Galeforce, Celica can pivot behind a unit to get out of the danger zone if she’s unable to kill anyone else without taking damage. Pivot also helps her do this over terrain, like trees.

Special: Galeforce Pretty standard for BC.

A skill: Death Blow 4 Again, standard.

B skill: Double Lion Again, standard. C skill: Defense Smoke 3 I usually use BC on an all-infantry team, so having a tactic skill doesn’t really make much sense. Defense smoke makes it so that after triggering Galeforce, the next foe is easier to K.O. S skill: Hardy Bearing 1 I’ve got hardy bearing to protect her from weapons like Feather Sword and skills like vantage. Vantage is particularly successful on units like Altina, so hardy bearing will protect BC if she goes up against a low hp Altina. With the weapon upgrade, Celica is usually at 100% health so I don’t think you need to even upgrade it.

Team Synergy: I put BC on a team with a healer (colorless), a singer/dancer (blue), and a tank/damage reducer (green). I use Mikoto, Azura or Masquerade Eldigan, and Brave Ike. Mikoto can heal anyone who takes any hits, Azura (or ME) can grant extra actions to either BC, allowing her to K.O. up to 3 foes a turn, or BI. With his weapon upgrade, BI reduces damage from all hits, allowing him to act as a tank, and he also has his own HP restore through Aether. I find this team build particularly effective in chain & multi-map battles. The main concerns are positioning Celica to K.O. three foes and keeping Azura/ME and Mikoto out of danger. Ike can take care of himself.

okay so this is some absolutely premium cute marchy!! the smile that manages to be completely self-confident yet in no way cocky? the polite little wave as he surveys his audience who, if i recall correctly, were booing him heavily?? oh i do love you mr rat. marchy is fantastic and i have so much respect for the way he deals with his reputation across the league and the excessive amount of shit he gets.he knows what people think of him yet doesn’t seem to let it get to him. i have so much love for him.

KATRINA IS LEGENDARY. before moving on to the part of the image that gave me whiplash when i first saw it, we’re back to talking about brad’s smile. i think i said it in my last post but he really is one of those people who smiles with their whole face - even if you just saw his eyes in this photo you can immediately tell that he’s got that little grin on his face and that’s adorable tbh. now onto the d*lf mug (censored bc i fear the dodgy underground porn blogs these days)… i don’t even know where to start. i feel like he very proudly bought it for himself. and it’s like the only mug he ever wants to drink out of. just my take. i also think the longer hair really suits marchy ngl

ahhh the boys and their dirtbag christmas suits 💛 highlights of this image are the suit jacket that is definitely just one size too small for this absolute man rocket, and the pants with “FRAGILE” plastered all over them - very relatable if not at all festive.

gay rights are stored in the rat!!! i’m glad marchy has been pretty open about his support of LGBT stuff, particularly within hockey. also i feel like some of the stuff he’s said in interviews or social media (esp re: lickgate) manages, even if not intentionally, to be quite diminutive towards implicit homophobia or ‘toxic masculinity’ within hockey. okay maybe that that was poorly expressed but basically he just doesn’t give a shit and appears very open and accepting and i think that’s super nice. this picture also makes for a good reaction image when someone says something dumb

short kings love.jpeg !! a wonderful example of the love that brad shows his teammates on a regular basis, despite his constant chirping. i have no real opinions on torey krug (no h8, i just don’t think i’ve seen that much of him off ice so idk) but him and marchy are quite the duo tbh, i live for their back and forths on twitter - more on that later - and they seem to love each other an awful lot, it’s v cute :^)

that’s my pest™. honestly i think lickgate is one of the best scandals in recent hockey history. when looking for a good image of this is saw an article where some dipshit reporter was outraged about it and was like “how would you feel if someone just came up and liked you?” i mean what if someone just came up and started punching you or hip-checked you into the wall????? hockey is a nasty game a lot of the time, and instead of giving people concussions or broken bones (not that he hasn’t in the past ik…) marchy managed to make opposing teams just as angry, if not moreso, just by licking players. i think it’s fucking hilarious. and most of them took it well in hindsight anyway - i think it was komarov who said he kinda liked it lmaoooooo. peak bradley kevin antics if you ask me

every pic from the china trip has such a special place in my heart. this is just an all-round adorable photo and brad is looking gorgeous in the sunlight and his backwards cap

brad waving the towel in surrender is just about the funniest thing i’ve ever seen someone do in the penalty box… i can’t believe they gave him a 10 minute misconduct for it, something i think they’d wouldn’t have done if it had have been someone else. at least someone in this league has a goddamn sense of humour. the penalty minutes stat in the corner just makes this even better

brad, once again, showing us how we should deal with people talking shit about us - just get on board with it. i love how much he’s just embraced his massive nose and his height and his general reputation. idk if it’s really deliberate but i think it’s such a good message to send, and it makes for some pretty funny stuff too.

brad single-handedly keeps nhl refs in a job. in my bruins drinking game™ you have to take a shot every time the ref has to physically restrain marchy (2 if it’s because he was going to get revenge or fend for bergy) and you could get fucked off that alone during some games. it was nice to see him not actually get suspended this year, but i will always love that he’s such a physical player and quite the pest on the ice :))

You and Cal had just gotten into a huge fight, the after effect of which was him storming out onto the back porch with a pack of cigarettes in hand. You stayed inside for a while after he exited, watching the smoke puff from between his lips as he sat out back, you were trying to hold it together, your composure slowly breaking as you began to panic,

Is it over you thought, the anxiety rising in your throat and churning in your stomach, finally you go up the courage to go outside and join him, removing your sweaty palms from the marble counter top and opening the sliding glass door, squeezing through so Duke didn’t get out, Cal didn’t like smoking around him, even in the open air.

You sat down next to him, the silence between the two of you harsh, leaving a bitter taste in your mouth every time you opened your mouth to say something making you close it soon after.

After minutes of sitting like the like this you couldn’t take it any longer, the tears that had been building in your eyes silently cascading down your cheeks, your body shaking as you tried not to verbalize your sobs, but Calum noticed, stubbing out his cigarette he stood up, bending down and scooping your shaking frame up in his tattooed arms before sitting right back down again. You curled into his chest, your tears leaving a mark on his light gray tank top. His large hands ran up and down your back, slipping under the fabric of your shirt and continuing the motion, there was not sexual agenda, purely to soothe the love of his life.

He leaned his head down, kissing the crown of your skull, his plump pink lips tangling in your hair.

��I am so sorry baby-girl, I didn’t mean anything, my love we are stronger than this,” you whimpered in response, knowing that it would be okay.

You fell asleep like that, wrapped in Calum’s arms on the back porch, you fell asleep early enough not to see the tears slip down Calum’s cheeks at the thought of losing you.

sorry for vld on main but (s8 spoilers!!)

what was the point of lance getting altean markings? how does that make sense

lance was relegated to basically just a love interest this season. like his confrontation w alfor? they could have said things abt how much he’s grown (thus a conversation betw him and blaytz would have been perfect) BUT all they talked about was how much he loved allura

lance staying home makes sense given how much he loves and misses his family all the time but i strongly do NOT believe that he never gets over her

the overall arc makes sense but the execution was all over the place i mean. i couldn’t focus on a single scene bc i was busy trying to decipher wtf was going on

bitch the galra family is so interesting and complex but i swear they did lotor so dirty. my heart is breaking

ALSO when lotor in the sincline aims at the paladin flying out of the blue lion and when he realizes it’s allura he puts down his arm and DOESNT SHOOT. i mean??? the real lotor was in there somewhere ok

but honerva in the end telling allura she made him happy?? that uhh fucking broke me, all the missed potential sjsljr

allura still has feelings for lotor and lotor truly did love her. fight me

i can believe that lance and allura did end up loving each other but the execution was shit thx. the dynamic between the two of them doesn’t make for much creativity wrt romantic material. probably why the tropes they resorted to were so generic and so boring, they could have done a lot more with them if they were written better

what i mean by that last point was if you take lance in that relationship and replace him w almost literally any other character then the plot-relevant points related to their romance would have stayed exactly the same. eg. allura doesn’t take out honerva on oriande bc hunk was in danger. allura talks to pidge about how alone she feels, not having a family. so on

also you know what’s a great dynamic? a prince and princess of two different sides of the war who despite everything find things in common and fall in love. i’m generalizing but you get the point, it’s wasted potential friends

me at s8: what is the Point

one of the bright spots this season was veronica and acxa. it’s my hc that they end up together thx

acxa applying what veronica said to her when trying to talk down zethrid and veronica SAVING HER LIFE?? AMAZING. SO MUCH POTENTIAL (that the writers didn’t use. as usual)

i also hc that keith and lance end up together after everything. i already accepted that they wouldn’t be canon after the first two eps of s8 wc is why i’m so calm about this lmao

one good thing about this season is it makes me want to write all the fix it fics even if i don’t actively write anymore shskdj

hunk had a minor role this season but he was finally plot-relevant!!!! i love him. the best support/tank

ALSO i love studio mir but there are some parts of atmospheric space or w/e that i think could have been cut in favor of more development/more SENSE in the writing

you can really feel they were bending over backwards just to get as many throwbacks in as possible yall it was so funny (in a bad way)
