You don't even understand how much I hate fasting.

It's like- first half of the day I'm pretty much fine, a little bored and then at about three thirty I'll start being weak, my limbs start aching and any time I get up I get dizzy, my vision goes black and I feel like I'm about to fall.

By the time the fast is ending I'm so hungry and dehydrated that I do don't even FEEL it anymore.

And then I can't sleep for the following night.

Anyway, for all my Jewish friends that are fasting today, mourning the loss of Beit Hamikdash, I hope you have an easy and meaningful fast. Be safe. To all the people who are not fasting today because they can't do that for any reason - your mourning is no less meaningful than the people who are fasting. Be safe. I love you all and have a meaningful day.

My friend is straight, he went to a pride parade today in a rainbow striped tie and this is how he describes the experience:

"...At some point I thought it was a little too much, people around me came over and told me so many times that I'm valid and loved and I didn't understand all the fuss. Them I went out of the parade and people all around me told me how disgusting I am, cursed me out and got mad at me for wearing apride tie. Then I understood the importance of telling people that they are valid"

Tell people they're valid. Tell them that they're loved. Accept people. We cannot let the hate win. Spread love.
