I’m not! I thought about doing it for a bit and then decided against it. I’m a lifeguard & swim instructor & supervisor/second in command in the aquatics department at my facility

#on the thought about emt training note:#tw for violence mention in the tags #the main reason i went nope im good is bc i was unfortunately a witness and first rescuer to a stabbing and it was not fun #and had a moderate to severe case of critical incident stress that put me off higher training #i did consider letting my current certs expire but realized that all of my worst incidents happen outside work #like worst ive had is a couple seizures. broken finger. case of secondary drowning #currently have my eyes on getting my lsi/fai/nli and am in the process of getting my ysi trainer so i can run cert courses #asks
