Rewatched OFMD for my presentation and I don't know how I managed to be normal about Izzy for months but I sure as fuck am not normal about him right now

I finished Rayan's route of MCLLL episode 13. It cost me 1276 AP. I got Rayan's illustration. Here is the summary:

You start this episode at home, it is the next morning after Eric tried to kiss you. Rayan is already a wake. You ask your self if you should tell Rayan. I decided to not do so. You go to the living room. Rayan hasn't slept well, just like you. He gets a call from Culann. Rayan will call him back later. You put own your outfit. I choose the outfit for Rayan's illustration. You leave for work.

In front of the café, Yael will call you. She asks if you are free tonight. You say that you haven't planned anything officially. Yael will take you to an art show tonight. Then you go inside the café.

At the café, you hear Nina and Dambi talking, you join the conversation. They are talking about Hyun and how he messed up the orders. Dambi sees that Hyun is not doing well. She thinks about talking with Hyun about it. But she is afraid that Hyun won't listen. I advise Dambi to not talk with Hyun. Nina thinks that it is maybe wise that Dambi talks with her parents.  But that would only make things worse. They already don't accept the job choices from Dambi and Iseul. Dambi being a gamer and Iseul teaching yoga classes. Then Dambi has to leave. She is participating in the world championships of her game. The story skips till closing the café. You go to the art show. Yael and you didn't stay long at the art show. You are talking with her outside in the main street. Yael will tell you how she found her calling for art. When she was a junior. And underhanded gallery wanted to exhibit my best friend's art. So she made sure that her friend should get the price she deserved for her art. Then Yael asks you if you want to take a drink. No matter what you choose you will take a drink with Yael. You go together to the snake bar.

Yael wanted to have a drink to celebrate some good news. Chani choose Yael as her agent. Yael will wait a little with selling her art, until Chani is a little more comfortable showing it. But you both think that Kim and Violette helped Chani a lot with getting out of her shell. Yael also want you to do an expo with art from Cécilia. You tell Yael that you will get back to her about this when you have spoken to Dan. Yael wants to do the expo from Cécilia with a cake from Hyun. You will tell Yael that Hyun is not doing well lately. And that is having more work than he can handle. Yael offers that if Hyun wants to she could get him a job at a big business where he can cook everything he wants. They want to pay him money to get out of his own business. You tell her that you will mention it to Hyun. Then you and Yael go home.

In front of the snake bar, you talk with Yael about her family. Yael has spoken with her sister. And she still doesn't accept Yael. But it won't held Yael back anymore. Yael is proud of who she is. Then you think about your own situation and what happened with Eric. You can choose if you want to talk about it with Yael. I decided to talk about it with her. She will ask if you have feelings for Eric. You say you don't have. And then Yael tells you, that you should tell Rayan. You are happy with a friend like Yael. You walk further home.  At home, Rayan is watching a movie. He doesn't notice you until, you go sit next to him. Rayan will ask you how your night was. You tell him it was fine. You go to the bedroom. Rayan stays watching his movie. The next morning, you will leave the house before Rayan is a wake. You have to go to the café. Nina opened the café this morning. She is enthusiastic, because more people are bringing their own cup. Her idea is doing well. Then Hyun comes inside with the cupcakes. You take Hyun to the kitchen to talk with him. You tell him about the business deal from Yael. I told Hyun that he should take the job. Hyun doesn't want the deal. He likes having his own business. You think he is right about this. You will give the messages to Yael. Hyun leaves to do the rest of the orders. You go back inside the café. There you will see Marina. Marina was wondering if you hear anything from Rayan. You tell her that it hasn't been easy for Rayan. And that he has a lot of questions. Marina wish she could go back in time and make this all undone. You tell her that she was brave for telling the truth. Marina goes home. You leave to go to Dan at the restaurant.

You are the first one to arrive. Dan isn't showing up. You call him. He isn't picking up. After a while, he calls you back. He has no clue why you called him. You tell him that you are waiting at the restaurant for him. He will tell you that he is getting caught up in his schedule and that his no time for the meeting. You ask Dan about planning the next sale. Dan says that it maybe has to go without a show. But he doesn't have time to talk about it now. You hang up and go back to the café. When you come inside the café, you will see Rosa talking with Eva. They are debating about how to feed up children. Eva can't win the debate, so she leaves. You go sit down with Rosa at the terrace. You ask Rosa if she has heard from Alexy. She hasn't. You tell her about your conversation with Morgan. And that he is not doing well. Rosa thinks that Morgan should talk with someone about this. You will talk about this with Morgan when you see him again. Then you tell Rosa about how everything ended with Rayan and Marina and that Priya left her job. Rosa thinks that Priya did the right thing. Then you can choose if you tell her about Eric. I decide to not tell her. Rosa will leave. You get a call from Castiel. He wants you to come to the studio. Nina takes over at the café, and you go to the studio. At the studio, you see Priya and Castiel. Castiel want your opinion about his contract with Ronnie Dialy. Priya and Castiel will tell you that they both can't make any error right now because of their situation. Priya will tell everything that is wrong about the contract. But she will also tell you that she is not sure about her self anymore, because of what happened with Rayan's case. Then Castiel will tell you why he really wants to sign this contract. Castiel wants to go forward and bring out a new album. Priya will tell him that can do that himself with an own label. You get to choose if you want them to sign the contract. I decided that they should sign the contract. Castiel is going to sign the contract. Priya still think that Crowstorm deserves better. But Castiel is happy that he can work with his idol. Priya will make sure that they get good merchandise. Priya will leave. You go back to the café. It is really busy at the café. You will find out that you have three missed calls from the same number. You call it back, it seems to be Eric. Eric asks you to see him to talk about what happened. No matter what you choose. You will see each other in two days. Then the story skip to closing time. You go home. At home, Rayan is on the phone. He is talking with Culann. He will tell Culann he will see him next week. Rayan hangs up. You talk about it with Ryan. Rayan is still not sure, that he wants to go back to teaching. You tell Rayan to relax and take the time. Then you go looking for something to make Rayan smile. You find your Christmas box. You get your illustration. Rayan will kiss you. The story will skip two days. You have to work at the café. At the café customers are asking why they aren't any cupcakes. Hyun hasn't delivered them yet. Hyun will call you, he asks if you can come over. You ask Nina to take over at the café. Before you leave Nina asks why Eric hasn't come the last days. You tell her you don't know. You go to Hyun's house. At Hyun's house, Hyun will tell you that he had an accident while he was riding to his next delivering. Nothing to worry about he didn't get hurt. But he will tell you that he can't go on like this. He already called Yael. She put him in contact with Mr. Walter. Hyun already knows him. You are happy that Hyun can continue cooking and look a bit more out for him self. Hyun still has to get the offer, but Yael and him will make sure that it would be a good deal. Hyun is still a bit sad that his own business still wouldn't work. You try to let him look at the bright sights. Then you go back to the café. At the café, you will tell Nina what happened. She finds it sad for Hyun to lose his business. But she thinks it was time and that it will reassure Dambi. Nina goes home. You work the rest of the afternoon. Then it is closing time. Eric is there. You two go to the snake-room.

On your way Eric starts talking, and saying that he doesn't want to talk about it in the snake room. He will tell you right away why he wanted to see you. Eric will tell you that he is in love with you. You get a few options to choose out. I said to Eric that if the circumstances where different maybe. You ask Eric if he had these feelings for you a long time. He answered that he was sure about his feeling after the dinner you had together. You tell him that he deserve someone who is available. Eric understands and asks if this can stay between you two. You tell Eric that you haven't decided yet. Eric goes home. You are still not sure if you should tell Rayan. Then the episode ends.

French Musicals Tag. 

It is hard for me to give only one answer to each question, so I decided I was going to pick 1 to 3 answers. The musicals I took into consideration were: Roméo et Juliette, Notre Dame de Paris, Mozart l’Opéra Rock, 1789 - Les Amants de la Bastille and Le Roi Soleil. I tried to mix it up a little bit, so that I didn’t end up choosing the same musical all the time. 

1. Favourite Musical: Roméo et Juliette, Notre Dame de Paris. I love both of these comédies musicales a lot. NDDP was the first one I ever saw, and it has a special place in my heart. Roméo et Juliette is the one I think about the most, and always want to rewatch. 

2. Favourite Troupe: Roméo et Juliette (2001). I could have chosen NDDP for this as well, but I just adore the cast in the original ReTJ.

3. Favourite Male Singer: Tom Ross (RetJ), Damien Sargue (ReTJ), Bruno Pelletier (NDDP). I stopped at three because I promised I would, but there are many many talented male singers in these musicals. 

4. Favourite Female Singer: Cécilia Cara (ReTJ), Victoria Petrosillo (Le Roi Soleil). Once again, it’s hard to just pick two!

5. Favourite Actor: Mikelangelo Loconte, Yamin Dib (Mozart l’Opéra Rock) Rosenberg is really funny, and I love the way Mikelangelo plays Mozart, so here it goes.

6. Favourite Actress: Réjane Perry (ReTJ). Amazing singer as well, I was sad to find out that she passed away in 2003.

7. Favourite Male Character: Tybalt (ReTJ). I mean, does it even need saying? I was thinking of putting somebody else here and him for favourite villain, but he is indeed my favourite character, so it makes much more sense to put him here, where he belongs.

8. Favourite Female Character: Juliette Capulet (ReTJ), Isabelle (Le Roi Soleil)

9. Favourite Understudy/Alternate: Diane Dassigny (MOR). I saw her in MOR 3D and to be honest liked her more than Claire Pérot.

10. Favourite Villain: Frollo (NDDP). I love Daniel Lavoie, and Frollo’s songs are just beautiful. 

11. Favourite Song: this is impossibile, I am going to say Lune (NDDP), Le Duel, J’ai Peur (ReTJ), they are among my favourite in my two favourite musicals. (I briefly talked about my favourite songs from these musicals here and here) 

12. Favourite Love Song: Un Jour, L’Amour Heureux (ReTJ). I mean, how could have I not chosen ReTJ for the love song?

13. Favourite Guilty Pleasure Song: I don’t consider any of them guilty pleasure songs, really? I’d say Les Solos Sous Les Draps, maybe (MOR). It’s sort of fun and silly and the title is a sexual reference so I guess it fits the category. Or maybe A’ quoi tu danses (1789), for dancing Robespierre.

14. Favourite Dance Sequence / Number: Le Bal (ReTJ 2001). I think it’s beautiful, I love the choreography and the colours, and I could rewatch it an inordinate amount of times to see what all the characters are up to.

15. Favourite Opening Number: super hard because the opening numbers are always amazing! I really enjoy all of them a lot. I think my favourite are Le Temps des Cathédrales (NDDP), Vérone (ReTJ)

16. Favourite Act 1 Finale: Aimer (ReTJ). This one wasn’t hard to answer!

17. Favourite Finale/Curtain Call: for the curtain call itself, Roméo et Juliette, because I love Benvolio presenting all the characters, and then Aimer/Les Rois du Monde (2001) and Les Rois du Monde/Avoir 20 ans (2010).  For the final song, NDDP (Danse Mon Esmeralda) or MOR (Vivre à en crever).

18. Favourite Music Video:  Ça ira mon amour (1789). I really liked Desmoulins as well. The official videos for the songs tend to be a bit weird in general. 

19. Favourite Canon Pairing: Roméo et Juliette (ReTJ), Duc de Beaufort et Isabelle (Le Roi Soleil).

20. Favourite Non-Canon Pairing: probably Mozart and Salieri (MOR). I guess? I love seeing all the fanart.

21. Favourite Costume: I am doing it off the top of my head, because I would need to look at all the costumes of all the productions.

For male costumes, I love Tybalt’s costume in ReTJ 2001, both the red leather one and the one he is wearing at the ball (the trousers are the same). Also, the Duc de Beaufort’s black coat in Le Roi Soleil. And Mozart’s red coat in Je Dors sur des Roses.

For female costumes: Constance’s dress in Six Pieds Sous Terre and Nannerl’s dress in Penser l’Impossible (MOR).

22. Favourite Set Design: Roméo et Juliette 2001 (really, I think it’s sort of simple yet effective and I am not a big fan of the towers in the revival), 1789 - Les Amants de la Bastille, which was quite ingenious!

23. Favourite Choreography: That’s super difficult. I am ruling ReTJ out, because I chose Le Bal for the dance scene. The first musical to come to mind was Le Roi Soleil, because of its beautiful coreographies, and 1789 has great choreos, too. The thing is, when I have to think about a single choreography, my mind goes to Le Bien Qui Fait Mal (MOR). It’s probably not even my favourite, but it sure stays in your memory!

24. Favourite Foreign production: I have only seen Italian NDDP and Italian and Hungarian ReTJ (plus I listened to English ReTJ), so my choice is Italian Notre Dame de Paris! I think it’s a very good production. 

25. An Underrated Musical: well, NDDP��is super popular with the public all over the world. I think it’s the most popular French musical ever probably, and definitely the most popular out of the 5 I’ve chosen, but I have to say I don’t see many posts on Tumblr (maybe I am just using the wrong tags). Also, everytime I try to look it up in the tags I see tons of posts about the Hunchback of Notre Dame musical. People, if you loved Hunchback you need to watch NDDP. 

26. An Underrated Pairing: maybe Mozart and Constance (MOR). I find posts about him and Salieri much more often (understandably, but still)

27. An Underrated Character: I am not sure she is underrated, but I am going for Fleur-de-Lys (NDDP). 

28. An Underrated Song: oh, I am not sure I know which ones are underrated. Maybe Tu Dois Te Marier, 2001 version (ReTJ). I love that it’s so upbeat. 

29. Fancast one musical: I can’t possibly think of doing this one, it would require too much thinking! 

30. Free Choice. Okay, my free choice is: most random thing you love about a musical. And for me it is the way Mercutio is pronounced in French, I LOVE IT.

Cécilia often puts things down on the nearest surface and then forgets them, which wouldn't be a huge problem... Except she shares her living space with a cat who likes to knock things off surfaces. She's had to mend a lot of things with her magic, mugs especially.

I imagine one day when Meredith was younger a friend's sibling asked her to accompany them to their fancy graduation and she went because she likes fancy parties, and she's acted as fake date a few more times since for the fun of it

Aster is a civil servant, which doesn't really carry the same meaning in english as it does in french: a fonctionnaire is someone who is payed by the government and can't be fired, only transferred to another post, and who passed exams to get their job. It can be any kind of work: as long as the job is paid by the government it's likely a fonctionnaire is doing it (though sometimes it's just a contractor) Fonctionnaires have a mixed reputation, the usual cliché says that they're lazy since once you've passed the exam to get the rank you can't be unemployed again, the state has to find you something to do (that's not necessarily true, some are lazy idiots who shouldn't be in charge and some aren't, it's like in any company except your salary is paid by the state) I think it's funny that Aster, who has the vibes of a guy who works overtime in a big private firm, is actually a civil servant, and I do value public service, so that's him!

I can't decide how media works in my universe where I put all my OCs (same media as us? different? parodies?) but Ophelia and Oswald are 100% into Star Wars/the equivalent and they have been trying to make and improve their own lightsabers using their magic for years

Raphaël and Raphaëlle are both old vampires and are super close. They don't see each other that regularly but if you put them in the same room they're going to be insufferable (affectionate). If they looked similar enough (they don't) people would ask them if they were twins.

Mercure or Leander and his cousin who still doesn't have a name would probably be the OCs I'd pick if I had to tell an actual story: Mercure because he's part-'tiefling' on his mom's side and part-winged-guys on his dad's side, but almost all the winged-guys live on a few islands in the corner of the map (like Sage Tristan and Mélusine) and they don't leave very often, so he wants to go there to meet his dad who doesn't even know he exists and that could be interesting; Leander and his unnamed cousin because I want his cousin to be randomly more powerful than average and do stuff with those powers, even if I don't know what yet. Thankfully I don't actually have to do this because I'm shit at thinking up stories, so if I end up doing something with my OCs it'll probably be some slice-of-life thing with Meredith and Cécilia, who are the most developed of the bunch by a pretty big margin :')

And for my SW OCs: Cehim, despite making the choice of living inside a spaceship in space most of the time, doesn't like it when it's cold. If there's space heating for your ship she has it because she hates being cold (the drawing I linked to doesn't show that but she wears jackets and jumpers and whatever, not just tank tops lol)

I still haven't properly written a post on any of my OCs except Meredith and Cécilia but honestly, do I need to provide context and explain what's going on with them? Is it not enough that I'm thinking about my OCs and I love them? Yeah.

So! Right now I'm thinking about Meredith's "vampire mentor" of sorts, who's just an old vampire she lived with for a few years. I finally decided he was going to be a guy but in honour of me hesitating for so long, he has a best friend named the same who's also a vampire and they're insufferable if you put them in the same room. They're both named Raphael (or, well, Raphaëlle for his friend, but it's pronounced the same) and they're like an elderly married couple except they're best friends. Raphael is into models, like airplanes and boats and towns and stuff, because my grandpa likes models so that's a very grandpa-like activity to me and that's the vibes I'm trying to give him. My brain is insisting on Qui-Gon vibes because I want to give him longer hair and a beard and his role is basically Meredith's vampire mentor, so I'm trying to not go full-on "it's Qui-Gon but less cool" because nope and I have to mitigate it somehow. The models help I think. He wears turtlenecks too, that's probably where Meri got it from. I just thought of making Raphaëlle a tiefling-demon-thingie as well as a vampire because those are just so fun to design but I don't have one of those who's also vampire, but maybe that would be weird? She's still very vague in my mind. I also can't decide if they see each other once every two year or if they have weekly hangouts, maybe periods of both? I know after she moved out Meredith spoke way less with Raphael because he went to live... somewhere else to do something I'm still not clear on? but he was totally there for her 50th birthday, and that's where he met Cécilia because she was there too of course. How did they get along? Well he would need a definite personality for that :')) I'm trying to give him huge grandpa vibes but I so rarely see mine that really I'm not sure what to do for that. Meredith isn't the first vampire he "mentored", I think there probably was at least another flatmate who was in the same position of "the person who turned me isn't going to teach me how to vampire properly and I'm lost help please" who lived with them. He would have to have a super nice flat in Travia then huh. I also imagine he's got money because I don't like thinking about how my characters handle that mostly, but he's in the vague category of "he's got quite a lot of money". I could make him from an aristocratic family or something, that would be fun. He meets Cécilia, maybe he mentions his great great grandniece or whatever, and Cécilia bluescreens for a second because she knows that girl, they had tea parties together! Oh yeah. Oh he's going to be Melanie's great great uncle or whatever, that's excellent. "That's too much of a coincidence" shhhh I do what I want with my characters.

(Melanie is a light blue demon-thingie with some parts of her skin that are discoloured? She's a childhood friend of Cécilia's she kinda stopped talking to after she went to her magic-boarding-school, but they do have some catch-up sessions once in a while, over tea of course. That means she has humans in her ancestry, though further than Cilia)

Rich with noble roots and into models isn't a personality though, so hmmm. I'll say he's nice, he likes his little habits and routines, he's probably meticulous - oh and I wanted to make a doctor! That also gives him another reason to have money. He probably vibes with Meredith because they both like people. Is it obviously I have problems creating characters? I wasn't kidding when I said Meredith and Cécilia are by far my most developed OCs haha. I can't project on every OC though, that would make them much too similar :') though I do make them mostly aroace unless they're supposed to have a partner. Most of the time I can't be bothered to think about attraction I don't feel :'))

But he was 100% there when Meredith had her "oh no all my friends are going to die" realisation. He probably caused it actually, he was talking about his great great niece or something and she was hit by a "oh no. Oh no everyone's gonna leave me behind but even worse this time." He doesn't have a huge place in my mind so I didn't include him in my vision of Meri, and so she probably doesn't talk about him that much, but she still mentions him, because he was a flatmate for a good while and he helped her a lot. He also probably knows Alex's uncle who adopted a mer girl and lives in the islands I put at the top of my map, and I imagine that's where he went when he stopped living in Travia?

(Travia is the city Meredith, Cécilia and most of my other OCs live in. The name comes from the Tara Duncan french book series (that I do not recommend to anyone past 12 to) but I know Sophie Audoin-Mamikonian isn't going to sue me for that or anything so I'm keeping it. It's in the "mostly humans" country, in the middle-north, and it's one of the big cities of that country, but not the biggest nor the capital. Alex is one of my main OCs, he has a huge family, I'm writing a thing on him and his two partners that'll get posted... Someday. He doesn't live in Travia but in another big city more in the south of the same country. The other place that clearly exists in my mind is the city Cécilia and Mercure and Silas and everyone else's magic school is near, it's somewhat modeled on Saint-Malo in Brittany. It's on the seaside, not too big but not small, at the north of the country, near the border with the "mostly demon-thingies" country, which is why Cécilia went to school there. The unnamed magic school doesn't have a name yet, it's a good magic school, one of the not-that-many in the world since magic is rare-ish and not everyone goes to school for it. Since it's on the seaside it's also one of the magic schools that has the most mer students. Alex's partner Laëlia has a little sister named Ophelia who goes to a different magic school more in the south with her best friend.)

Okay, well that was fun! I love putting my thoughts down actually, expect more rambles like this as I get out of my "don't be cringe" mindset :) I'll also be trying to draw more of my OCs, so maybe that'll be coming soon? I can certainly draw a little Melanie, I love that girl even if she doesn't have a personality. Also, if you've noticed anything that's a bit wonky, that's normal because I like being organised in my head but only on certain things and I bend the rules when my ideas are cool :)
