I dunno y’all… After spending over a decade of my life connecting on social media I am tired. I’m tired of my thoughts, pictures, and art getting lost in between ads and getting buried by the algorithm.

I spent this past weekend mostly on the futon creating art with various TV shows and movies playing in the background, spent very little time on my phone, and it was great. I have mostly been on social media in the past few years to try and get my art in front of more people, and if that aim is unrealistic I’m definitely wondering if I should bother at all…

You’d think a light wool witch hat would be a mistake in the desert, I mean I brought it along for the #aesthetic, but it turned out to be a lifesaver. It was so hot, and so bright, and the sun was so intense that having something to cut some of the glare turned out to be amazing. Also ended up wearing it in the car a lot because my glasses turn dark in the sunlight - but if they are in the shade and I’m looking out into a bright space they aren’t much help.
