I use this handy-dandy thing.

This is the NEW ALPHABET, the old alphabet from homestuck was actually the Daedric alphabet turned upside down, which had to be changed due to copiryght, for Hiveswap. SO this is the Hiveswap alphabet, the new one.

And i practiced the same way i learned the alphabet when i was little, by writing each letter multiple times until i remember them.

Like i write a full page of the letther A, then B, then AB, then C, BC, D, CD. Ect. then i began writing words with the letters i already learned like BED, and HAD. until i knew enough words to write longer things like my name, objects, animals etc I wrote from the A until whatever letter i remembered, and then continued practicing until i could write from A to Z in one go.

ALSO, i downloaded this alternian fonts from THIS USER

They made 4 fonts and i used them as reference to see the vartiants and constants in each letter, which things i can bend and which ones are necesary or the letter loses meaning. They're free but please conside to colaborate.

And then i used this super cool page, which is full of homestuck themed browser tools.

There you are shown a couple letters and you gotta click the right one until you reveal the word.

Sometimes it'll be reversed

It was fun.

And then i startied translating things, i needed short pharagraphs, so i went with poetry. I looked for poetry on pinterest and google images and started translating stuff

Of course i write from left to right, like normal, like always. I know in homestuck they wrote from right to left and from the bottom of the page up, but that was because, again, it was daedric upside down, so the joke was, you could turn the page upside down and read normal in daedric. I just write like i've always writen, but with this wacky letters.

I'm still very slow and i mix the T with the P, and forget some letters, but i can already read it! slow. And write it, slowlier...

It took me a couple hours of fixation and now i use the AlternianPractice Tool for fun

Io veramente non so se il Festival lo guardate dall'altro ieri oppure siete semplicemente così ingenui sulla vita. O veramente avete pregiudizi che vi dovete curare. I fan si sono sempre organizzati per i voti di massa. E' una realtà. Vi sgolate a dire che il televoto debba avere più peso e nel momento in cui è effettivamente così non vi sta bene che non tutti i concorrenti partano da eguali a livello di numeri di fanbase. Non è equo, non è giusto. Ci sono artisti che fanno il doppio, il triplo di altri in termini di numeri. She tightens her arms as anger boils up in her stomach. How dare he imply—what does this man know about them or why they made the decisions they did? How dare he say something like that so casually—as if that choice hadn't caused Janet guilt every single day since she made it, as if she hadn't wanted to keep her son with her when he was young, as if she was happy with how that had turned out, as if she wanted to be in a failing marriage that she was trying to save so her son wouldn't grow up in a broken home?

"There were issues with the company that necessitated our travel at the time," she responds icily. "And as much as we hated to leave our son behind, we felt it was the better option to have him in a stable schooling situation than going all over the world with us, getting exposed to god knows what kind of diseases and having to home school him instead. I assure you, we were doing what we thought was best for him."

"Of course," the social worker says, expression remaining carefully neutral. "No one would say otherwise in those circumstances. But I did notice here that Tim transferred schools a few times—were there issues there by chance? It does seem a bit abnormal."

"It's not like we were going to leave him at a school that didn't seem like they were giving him the best possible care or that—that he didn't seem to be thriving in."

"And yet you still decided to keep trying different boarding schools--despite having those kinds of issues multiple times?"

Dick was right--the man is merciless. He's finding every weak point—every insecurity—of hers and stabbing the knife in without any hesitation. Her jaw clenches. "I'm sorry, Mr. Desidero—are we here to talk about Bruce or about me?" she asks.

The man at least has the decency to look a bit chastised. "My apologies, Mrs. Drake. It's merely that in my experience, people have a tendency to see only what they want to see. It's not unheard of to be so focused on doing what you think is best that you end up missing how your child truly feels."

Blorbo: for anyone who doesn't know, Alternis Dim was my first ever full-blown blorbo, even more so than purple Link. I used not to really care about him until he told us his tragic backstory and for some reason my 11yo brain CLICKED and decided that he was the one who was gonna spend the next few years being rotated around like a rôtisserie chicken in my mind. I got into reading fanfictions because of him, and it's thanks to YEARS of reading fanfictions that yours truly now speaks English. I retconned his hair though because his canon hair is ugly af. He evolved so much over the years that he ended up more of my oc than his OG character but I feel like that was incredibly important for me at that point in my life to have him. I love people being able to take a character and make it theirs in order to grow or find something that brings them joy, and that's what he did for me. He grew alongside me, basically, and I'll always be thankful for him and for the shit he allowed my teenage brain to pull him through.

Scrimblo bimblo: GLORIA OF MUSA. Girl, you were so much better than Agnès ever was. You literally take names and kick ass. Her decidedness and steadfast attitude definitely got me falling hard for her. I loved watching her grow so much, and watching her find some happiness. I loved how ruthless she could prove to be. She reminded me a little bit of El, which is always a plus.

Glup shitto: he does have an important role in the story, but i think i'd still have to go with Seth. I think Bravely Default 2 suffered a bit for the fans because it didn't have the OG cast, and Seth especially had a lot to live up to after Ringabel. But he is extremely likable and I loved his design so much, but also how the story decided to wrap up his story (spoilers)!! Made me cry SO hard.

Poor little meow-meow: Victor S.Court probably. He is pathetic and I admire that. I also love that he and Alternis hate each other's guts, it's a really fun dynamic to explore

Horse plinko: Alternis you got me into hurt/comfort fics thanks for taking one for the team my dude

That’s… we’re in November now, aren’t we?” He nodded. “A month and half from now.” A month and half. A deceptively short amount of time. A lot could happen in a month and a half. A lot of people could die.
