So here is another funny nitpick I have about Star Trek Picard: Firewall.
In no way will I ever believe or accept that Seven of Nine will ever like going to the beach.
Aesthetically she might like it but the trade-off having sand everywhere especially on her implants would be far too annoying for her.
Also, nothing can dissuade me from thinking Seven would not sink like a lead balloon.
Borgs will sink. And you’d get seven saying: “Borgs Do Not Swim.”
And yet the book starts with Seven living on a beachfront in South Africa with swimming as part of her routine.
Also because for funny reasons I want her to have something in common with Anakin “Human Disaster” Skywalker.
Like, c’mon, don’t tell me Seven of Nine, at that period of life won’t share the same sentiments!
Also, Seven would be that one Asian Aunt who is all covered up in the beach because she would not want sand anywhere her implants!

new random and oddly specific headcanon, fern gets overly heated thumb wrestling with finn. like WAY more than he should, foaming at the mouth furious. because somehow he almost always loses and for some reason losing at that particular game makes him SO mad and he yells and rips up his own grass and finn is like.. dude… i think fern might be a little bonkers…
its even worse when he insists a rematch cause then he loses again and gets even more worked up until finn has to convince him to calm down because theres more to life than thumb war

'Pollux, the cameras will go down in thirty seconds.'
"I wonder if there's a copy of the manuscript somewhere I can see it," Charles says to the mark. The man trails his eyes all across Charles' body, and it's only his training that stops him from knocking him out before the cameras stop working.
"Well, I'm sure we can figure something out," the man says, his hand on Charles' shoulder, just as Alex says 'Castor, now!' in his ear.
Charles smiles his meanest smile and the man's eyes widen, but before he can say anything, he's already crumpled on the floor.
"You hit him pretty hard," Charles says, tilting his head. "Concussion, definitely."
Carlos looks up at him from where he's rummaging through the man's pockets and rolls his eyes.
"Should've hit him harder," he says, and Charles lets his smile soften. Carlos' eyes turn less murderous in return. He stands up and fixes his suit jacket, and when he steps across the body on the floor, he hits the man in the jaw with his shoe. Charles smiles wider as Carlos fixes up his bow tie, running his finger up Charles' neck.
'I hope you're not making out, Pollux, Castor,' Alex's voice rings out through their earpieces. 'You have seven minutes and sixteen seconds more.'
Carlos groans, and Charles giggles.
"Come on," he says, and pulls on Carlos' hand. "We can get revenge for the codenames after."
Carlos grins, and follows.

My first true piece of Sonic fanart is a meme for an AU I have never posted before. Ironic.

'Nothing Changes' AU
Basically, Sonic, Shadow and Silver all get shot by a negative chaos energy gun that Eggman made. Silver was not affected for .... reasons.... but Sonic and Shadow sure were! Now Silver has to stop Eggman, get the heck out of the area before GUN military strikes the place, find their friends, and try to find a way to turn Sonic and Shadow back to normal, because Silver really can't take much more howling and alien screeching about 'THE HIVE' at 3 in the morning before he loses it.
