Teen Wolf Update (spoilers for season 3A)

so, i have finished season 3A. here are my thoughts:

Scott seems to trust people a tad too easily, and i think that’ll probably come back to bite him in the ass. that being said, the true alpha thing is cool

Stiles continues to be one of my favorite characters. i knew he would be the one to figure out all the shit with the nemeton! i’m so happy he and lydia kissed, even though it was just lydia helping him stop his panic attack. i love that the baseball bat is a recurring theme, and can’t wait to see how his character arc develops in the next seasons

Allison continues to be a badass. i liked watching her relationship (or lack thereof) with Scott continue to grow and develop, even though it wasn’t really romantic this part of the season. hopefully scallison will be back in season 3b, though i’m starting to think either it will turn into scott x allison x isaac, or scott will be kind of removed from the picture and it will just be allison x isaac (am i the only one who noticed the chemistry between the two of them?)

Lydia is a banshee, apparently, and i think it’ll be cool to watch her powers develop over the course of the rest of the show. while i found her annoying in season 1, she’s really grown on me and i like her a lot now.

Derek seems to be a bit all over the place this season. i don’t know where the hell they pulled derek x jennifer from, but they did and i didn’t like it one bit (also i called it i knew she was the darach i literally made a post that said i think she’s the darach i knew it). Derek continues to be one of my favorite characters

Peter’s comebacks are awesome. i love his sense of humor even though he’s a dick.

We stan Mama McCall on this blog (we hate Agent bitchass McCall though, he can go die in a hole)

i’m really glad they let Sheriff Stilinski in on the supernatural stuff

Isaac is still my adorable child, i love him so much, and if anything severe ever happened to him i would kill everyone in the room and then myself

i’m really sad that Erica and Boyd died. Derek and Cora’s reaction to Boyd’s death in particular made me cry genuine, actual tears

out of the twins, Ethan is my favorite. Aiden is a tad bit violent for me, and ethan x danny is really cute

i can’t wait to start 3B, and i will do another one of these once i finish it!

Edit: i originally said that i thought scott thought in mainly black and white. @liliaeth pointed out to me the many ways in which i was wrong (and there were alot). i honestly have no clue where i got black and white from, so i have changed it to something closer to my actual thoughts. i apologize for my high level of stupidity, and thank you to everyone else who ponted this out to me as well.

I have watched through ep. 10, and these are my thoughts so far:

Jackson is a manipulative asshole, albeit a very attractive one

Lydia used to get on my nerves, but i like her better now

Allison is great

Scott seems a bit naïve to me

Stiles is the best, i love Stiles

Derek is awesome

I love the Sterek dynamic, and i really really ship them holy hell

Colton Haynes is one fine-ass man

so first off Xavier is one of my self inserts of which i have. a lot (some are more developed than others ie ziir+zan) also this is gonna be rambly an a lil disjointed i am Wiggly™™

ze's for Andromeda! an it took a long time to settle on a name bc i choose 1-2 names and obsessively use them for Every Single Thing and it gets confusing after awhile lmao

keepin in with my theme zir full name is Xavier Lupin Ryder, the eldest of the Ryder siblings (shuffling with canon and Xavier gets 2 brothers, im poking the mom sitch bc i have. attachments) zir a biotic vanguard and also stim with them+sometimes just gently float along bc it's nice

since ze is based on me they're pretty o o f health wise which is why ze gets the mask (i use one for my allergies+my immune system is shit and ze gets the same reason!) altho ze also uses it bc facial expressions are,,,,, difficult and the masks make things easier. current designs are the teefs, one with unicorns an one that's the :3 face

im still settling on full designs but zir clothing+makeup style is just. sci fi make up and space rave, my brain keeps gently attempting to refer to zir as soft eldritch feminine so that's gonna go. somewhere im sure

im working on crew relationships bc i am a sucker for found family but ze is very soft with all of them, very gently flirty, everyone's gently forced into video night and has to tolerate listening to zir refer to the predator as zir wife

an im thinkin ze ends up in a relationship w vetra+cora+jaal tho that may be subject to change bc i don't wanna make things weird But Also i am filled with far too much love and so is ze as an extension

WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?: cora x rumple probably but tbh it’s the ship I get to do most often so that probably influences my opinion

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?: My two big no-no’s are incest and non-con. Pretty much everything else is fair game.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: As long as the other muse is 20+, I can’t say I’m too bothered by an age gap. In an ideal world I’d have tons of ship partners who were right around Cora’s age, but this is the real world and there aren’t too many other muses much over the age of 30. Plus, the nature of Storybrooke and the curse makes age an oddly subjective thing anyways lol.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: A little? I want to click with the other mun and I want them to be clear about what they’re getting into. Cora’s not an easy person to love. Her walls are nine miles high and twice as thick. There’s a good chance the ship won’t always be healthy. As well, if you’re wanting to ship with heartless Cora, you gotta realize all she care about is sex.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NS.FW?: I’m a little paranoid so I’ll start tagging NSFW the minute it’s clear that the sex is gonna happen.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?: Rumple is the only one I’ll ship without much plotting. But also Henry Sr. and Hook in a sort of dysfunctional but might have worked under better circumstances kinda way. Ships I’ve fallen into over many plotting sessions have included with Tinkerbell and Aurora (it will never die in my heart). Honestly, if you wanna ship, come ask me about it. I don’t rule anything out.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: It’s definitely preferred. The better the OOC relationship, the better the ship. Also the more likely I am to smut with you, because I’ll trust you more as a friend. Auto-shipping with me would probably be a huge turn-off, but it’s never happened before so I’m not too worried about it. But seriously. The IM thingy is always open come chat with me.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?: I don’t get to do it much so I would be down for more ships tbh. It’s not my top priority but Cora needs some love too.

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?: Not obsessed, so probably more-or-less? But when I do ship I get hella invested with the relationship and will love it to the day I die. Example being Cora and Aurora, I haven’t actively had a ship partner for that in like three years but DOES THAT STOP ME FROM LOVING IT NO. IT DOES NOT. I get excited about my ships.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?: Like out of everything????? come ask me that again in about three weeks as we get more into season 7 haha. Otherwise I’m gonna say rumple/cora again.
