Noah-a-Day May: Crotch Edition, Day 13

I find it so funny how adaptations and pop culture for Frankenstein feel the need to paint “Dr. Frankenstein” as either a batshit crazy old man or a hot mentally unstable guy in his 30s, when in reality Victor Frankenstein in the original novel is just a sickly gay autistic teenager, who does definitely not have a doctorate, written by a 17-year-old goth girl who created the genre of science fiction.

It’s just so funny to me how pop culture is just like, “yeah, Dr. Frankenstein, the ‘ooOoh my peers criticised my science but I’ll show them!’ And ‘it’s alive!’ guy.” when in reality Victor Frankenstein just shows up to class fully “uhm, achtually 🤓☝️” style, then proceeds to rant about his boyfriend best buddy and how hot and amazing he is for pages and pages and pages. What peers? His classmates who probably just know him as “oh, that one.”??? The man is a twink who dropped out of university and due to his avoidance of consequences (not his “whining”, bad character analysis, I see you) by the end he’s driven himself so far to his own demise that he’s just an absolute sopping wet cat of a man. Stop trying to age him up at the beginning or make him hotter or “more mature”, the public deserves to know this twink like we do. And please stop making the creature an inarticulate mess with literally no character to him whatsoever, give us our edgy “i just read this Bible fanfic and Satan is just like me fr” lad we know and love

OH YEA BTW SINCE THE VAS DECIDED TO GET EXTRA SILLY FOR MGAFS:

Earth's VA clarified (very passionately and consistently) that Earth DID NOT DIE from Bloodmoon that was a MISTAKE from Sun or Moon's VA (I can't remember which 😭), technically the old body died because it was broken beyond repair but she herself was perfectly okay!! So both her and Sun are untouched by the family theme of dying. She was just badly injured!

She also said she wants it to be canon that Earth can do a backflip! :]

KC's VA touched on the question of "why didn't it fight back against Bloodmoon?" and it was simply because it didn't care to 💔

[what’s it like getting back at six am? i mean, is it like — a day or two, or how do you adjust to that?]   i mean, for me, i think it’s … um, i know i can kind of get through it a little easier, i know some guys, you know, have kids and some other responsibilities where they don’t have the luxury of being able to sleep all day, but, um … yeah, i mean, i had — i was able to sleep in as long as i wanted and get as much sleep as i needed, which, um … you know, i think helps a lot for sure. um, obviously, it’s not easy though. uh — so definitely kinda took a little bit, but, yeah, i mean, for me it’s pretty easy just to — i mean, sleep ‘til i don’t need to anymore.  [so how long was that? what time d’you get up then?]   um … i think it was around one or so? when i got up? it wasn’t — it wasn’t too bad. you know, obviously you wanna try to sleep at night too. um … so, yeah, i think it worked out, you know, worked out pretty well.

Me: yeah I'm kinda picky when it comes to stuff related to my current interests. I tend to have a very specific interpretation of characters or things and just don't find myself personally interested in differentiating adaptations.

In the interest of honesty and vulnerability I'm gonna be real with you all I need you guys to read this fic even though nobody knows or cares about this show or this pairing simply because I truly don't think I have ever been this consistently funny before or will be this consistently funny ever again and I'd really like to know why this is happening on the fic for the random-ass British detectives (no, not those - not those either - different ones - look just stop trying) and not on any one of my fics for my belovéd weewoos.

I'm going to just focus on the poll fic for this weekend and try to get other stuff done next month. It's been hard for me to actually get started, but I'm enjoying the process with this one, so hopefully you all will like the NSFW Beel x Diavolo x MC content I'll have for you, some time on the 31st (I hope).
