He takes the earbud and presses it into his ear, pressing his head to hers. Very 2008 of you, Jamie. "What'd you say this was again?" He's always been adventurous with his music taste, willing to listen to just about anything that his friends put on in the gym or the car or at parties. He's never complained about music in his 25 years before, and he absolutely doesn't plan on starting now.

Éowyn stopped, staring for a long moment at the woman—or more specifically, the sweet in her hand that she'd apparently stolen from the VIP Guests' buffet. It took her a moment to realize that this was a player, and players weren't meant to enter the VIP box and enjoy their buffet, which seemed a bit silly to her, if anybody asked.

"Please, by all means—" Éowyn moved to the table herself, quick to pour a cup of tea and offer it to the other. "You worked hard out there today. I think you deserve it."

I didn’t mean to --  “ it’s a ramble of words that erupt from her throat and like they can’t escape fast enough , getting caught and tangled together when they try to leave her mouth . She’s still trying to get the hang of getting herself back into society , to socialize with people was so much easier back then , but now , it was the worst thing in the world , people made it look so easy. She’s extremely round shouldered , standing a smidgen taller above the other but hunching forward , her posture making her look smaller than she actually was.

oops made a t.ed l.asso/wfc r.ichmond oc. her name's ruby and she's an australian goalkeeper, joining the inaugural team in the number 1 shirt/starting lineup, and also plays for aus (though she doesn't really care abt international rivalries outside the stadium and HAS shown her r.ichmond mates round her country). holds the record for the most goals scored by a female goalkeeper in football, up there with the top men who've done the same, including doing it for richmond. she's a little nerd who loves the london museums and has far too many plants in her tiny london flat.

oh and thanks to @allroundher the chant the richmond fans give her is literally just the chorus of ruby by the k.aiser c.hiefs

2. Who was your first muse?

It was indeed, the one and the only Miranda Lawson of Mass Effect! I was first introduced into the ME RPC by @allroundher in January 2013, and I started with my favourite with the (joke) URL @hexagonass (that blog has since been remade, but if you want the OG: @hexagonass-archive !). There are a lot of memories from that time, and how different the RPC was! But she's still my one true character that I adore and will likely write forever! (and @mindsmade and I still write Miranda/Shepard too ((Though I am slower than molasses, but even so, we persist because we love them!))).

"Yeah, it's peaceful, innit?" Jamie asks, his hands folded between them. He's led them to the very top row of the stands of the Dogtrack, looking down at the quiet pitch. It won't be quiet in the morning, when Richmond hosts City for the first time since their treble win, but, for now, Jamie lets himself relax in the temporary peace and quiet of his second home. "I never had this, as a kid. The experience of watching a match from all the way up here, I mean. Especially not before I started playing. But... tomorrow... there'll prolly be a little lad in blue and red and yellow, sitting right 'round here, with the money he's saved up from doin' the dishes or... or however kids get money, I don't know, and he's going to have the time of his fucking life. And I'm gonna be way down there," he points a finger, "and I'm gonna be thinking about that little boy, and... maybe his dreams of bein' a Greyhound someday." He digs his toes into the ground in front of his chair. "I play for 'em. The little boys with dreams. They're what motivate me. And... fuck, Power, I wanna win for 'em. I really do."
