Whoever fears Allah and has trust in Him, Allah is sufficient for them, He will surely manage their affairs and make them succeed.
Even if in the normal way, it may seem impossible, even if the material causes (of the universe) go against them.
Allah has His own ways of making things happen, if He wills so - even if the normal ways are closed, even if usual paths to it are cut off.

Dua of Prophet Ibrahim (a.s) which is found in Verse 35 of Surah Ibrahim which says:
وإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبّ‌ِ اجْعَلْ هَذَا الْبَلَدَ ءَامِناً وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الاَصْنَامَ
“And (remember) when Abraham said: ‘My Lord, make this city secure and distance me and my sons from worshipping the idols.”
Allamah Tabatabai says that this Divine Protection that Prophet Ibrahim (a.s) was seeking for himself and his sons specifically in this Dua – from being far from worshiping idols – is the protection of Isma or infallibility or sinlessness.
The verse in Surah Aali Imraan which I earlier started reciting, it continues to describe the House of Allah as being:
مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
“blessed and guidance for the worlds”
فِيهِ آيَاتٌ بَيِّـنَاتٌ مَّقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَن دَخَلَهُ كَانَ آمِنًا
“Therein are clear signs, the standing place of Abraham, and whoever enters it is secure”.
The Ka’ba is blessed…without doubt untold blessings emanate from it.
By just looking at the Ka’ba you are rewarded.
By praying at the Ka’ba your prayers are answered as certain Angels are permanently stationed there to say “ameen” to all your prayers.
The Ka’ba itself is a living reality that provides guidance…it is not dead bricks and mortar!
The Ka’ba has in it eternal signs for those who contemplate.
The Ka’ba is a safe place…a sanctuary wherein even the plants, trees and insects are safe from harm in the broader Haram area.
The Ka’ba is a symbol of Islam and is a reflection of the spiritual health of the Ummah.
Therefore we see that Imam Sadiq (as) says:
“As long as the Kaaba is upright, the religion will not perish.”
Abraha tried to destroy the Ka’ba. He perished instead…this is a sign which the Ka’ba offers for those who reflect.
Yazid tried to destroy the Ka’ba. He even managed to have it burnt down to the ground. But the Ka’ba was rebuilt. And Yazid perished instead. This is another sign which the Ka’ba offers for those who reflect.
The source of this attraction to the Ka’ba is Allah Himself who placed that attraction in it.
And therefore no matter what an insane person does, the House of Allah will prevail as it’s prevailed since the beginning of time.
In examining aspects of the spiritual journey in the life of Prophet Ibrahim (a.s) and in the light of the great spiritual guidance that the Ka’ba provides, there are interesting lessons to be learnt.
Almighty Allah chose the Ka’ba to be His House and placed an attraction in it that nobody can deny.

a youth sent a letter to Allamah Tabatabai
A youth sent a letter to Allamah Tabatabai asking for practical instructions for victory in overcoming the carnal self and to become governed by felicity.
Allamah replied:
“In order to become successful, it is necessary to summon will-power and repentance and it is for you to turn to self vigilance (muraqabah) and self-assessment (muhasabah) in the following manner:
- Everyday, upon waking, make a firm and serious intention that you will consider the pleasure of God in any action you perform. At that time, whatever action you want to perform, you will consider its otherworldly benefits. If there is no otherworldly benefit, you will not perform it—regardless of what it may be. Continue with this daily from wake to sleep.
- At the time of sleeping, spend 4-5 minutes thinking about the actions you performed during the day. Consider each one. One by one. Whatever you found was accomplished in conformity with the pleasure of God, express gratitude for it. Whatever was a transgression, seek forgiveness for it. Continue daily. Despite this method being difficult at the beginning and bitter for the carnal self, this method is the key to salvation.
- Before sleeping, if you can, read the chapters of the Quran that start with praising God such as Hadid (57), Hashr (59), Saff (61), Jummua’h (62), and Taghabun (64). If you cannot, then read Surah Hashr (59).”
Allamah then wrote: “After 20 days of being occupied in this manner, write a letter to me informing me of your condition.”

The heart of Quran
All of the Surah in the Quran are important but Surah Yasin is the key to many discoveries and blessings in the path of Irfan. Highly recommended by Late Allama Qazi(ra), Sheikh Hassan Ali Nakhodaki(ra), Sheikh Rajab Ali Khayat(ra), and many other great Urafa.
Every word in Surah Yasin has 10 mowakkaleen (angels) assigned to it. You can add all the words and multiply it by 10 if you wish to find out how many mowakkaleen are in surah Yasin.
Imam Sadeq(as)
Everything has a heart and the heart of the Quran is Surah Yasin. When someone recites Surah Yasin during the day before nightfall, Allah will give him refuge and increase his/her sustenance. When someone recites it before bedtime, Allah assigns 1,000 mowakkeleen (Angels) to guard him/her at night against the interference and disturbance of Shaytan (Satan) and also save the reciter from any calamity. In case a person dies in the morning, Allah will enter him/her to heaven. While 30,000 Angels descend from the skies and repent for him/her and accompany him/her to the gravesite.

When the spiritual traveler is filled with any sort of yearning during his spiritual journey, he suspects that it is not possible for him go be totally free from desires, and that passing away in Allah, which is the basis of the worship of freemen, is in consisted with his inmate inclination to will and desire. In these circumstances, he feels helpless. But it is this feeling of helplessness that erases his egoism, which is the basis of will and desire. Therefore after passing this stage, no trace of will and desire is left.

Quote
Man is selfish by nature. He is always ready to sacrifice everything else for his own self. He would be willing to destroy anything for the sake of his own survival. It is difficult for him to do away with this natural instinct and to overcome his selfishness. But so long as he does not do so, he cannot expect the divine light to manifest itself in his heart. In other words unless a spiritual traveler annihilates his individual self he cannot establish his connection with Allah. Therefore it is necessary for him first to weaken and ultimately to smash the spirit of selfishness so that whatever he may do, is done purely for the sake of Allah and his sense of self-love may turn into love for Him. For this purpose ceaseless effort is necessary. After passing this stage the devotee's attachment not only to his body and every other thing material ceases to exist, but even his attachment to his soul is finished. Now whatever he does, he does for Allah alone. If he eats to satiate his hunger or provides for the bare necessities of life, he does so only because his Eternal Beloved wants him to continue to live.

WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR IMAAN WHEN YOU COMMIT SIN?
"Now we might ask how is it that people appear to be believers but still commit sins?
A hadith explains this phenomenon very beautifully when it says that “when a believer steals, he does not steal while he is mu’min” i.e. at that point in time when committing sin he loses his Imaan.
Or “a believer never commits adultery while he is a believer” also makes this point that while the parties are involved in this ugly act, they are not believers for that moment in time.
Yes subsequent to commit sin, they come to realise their wrong doing and then repent and return to Allah and become believers again.
This is why Imam Zainul Abideen (AS) is asking for a firm Imaan which remains stable and does not sway!"

Everyone has tasted the sweet and bitter of life in terms of his own experience. I, in my turn, have found myself in varied environments faced with all kinds of hardships. Especially since I have spent most of my life has an orphan, or a foreigner, or far from friends, or without means, or in other difficulties. I always sensed however, that an invisible hand has delivered me from every terrible danger and that a mysterious influence has guided me through a thousand obstacles towards the goal. Though I be a thorn, and though there be a flower to grace the meadow, I grow by the hand that nurtures me.
