i hate to be this big of a hater but every time i see people complain about show jaime in s8 with βall that development and for what?β what development exactly?
#rotting corpse of an arc since s4 i fear#im such a hater sorry im so sorry im sorry#none of his choices held any meaning to me and all of it was changed and recontextualized to the point#where it did not even faintly echo the book version#all of his change was surface level he just became nicer he wasnt forced to confront anything#empty arc with a shit ending sure but it could not be saved in any way in my eyes#all his major storylines were removed#no stoneheart no jc deconstruction no lannister regime exploration no dreams#no ghtj deconstruction#no adwd pivot#no aerys 2.0 either#the only time i enjoyed him was s3 sometimes#and that one scene in s2 where he is paraded around thought that was p funny i liked that one#other than that eh#i sworn off talking about the show but someone put a gif of him on my feed and the tags were full of this
