Guess what? I'm back with another Alice lives AU:
So it starts with Andy finding out about Nica earlier, he found out about her just as her trial was starting. He tried to testify but wasn't allowed due to having no direct link to her, from that he also found out about Alice but wasn't allowed to be her guardian at that point for the same reason he couldn't testify. Andy did however, manage to visit Alice and her paternal grandmother, he explained to them how he didn't believe that Nica was guilty and, when her grandmother was making drinks for them, Andy told Alice the truth about Chucky and warned her not to trust him if he turned up. He gave a more 'realistic' explanation to Alice's grandmother and left his phone number for them to call if they thought the people he suspected did the killings were close by.
Obviously, Chucky does turn up and Alice runs after finding her grandmother dead, taking the note with Andy's number with her and after calling him, he starts the process of adopting her. Over the next four years, Alice is raised by Andy along with Kyle, Karen and Mike.
Kyle, Mike and Karen do know about Andy trying to help Nica and prove her innocent. Alice even has her own room at Karen and Mike's house where she stays with them when Andy goes to Lochmoor/Harrogate since it can be a long drive.
Alice is the only person aside from Andy who knows about the Chucky head but mostly stays in her room when he is out of the safe since she is still kind of afraid and feels guilty for believing him.
Alice is staying with Mike and Karen when Andy attempts to rescue Nica from Chucky, with Kyle basically on standby if Andy is gone for too long so she can go after him.
The events of Cult are pretty much the same and Andy and Kyle end up returning and having to give Alice the bad news that they couldn't get to her aunt in time. Andy does however, promise Alice that if there is even the smallest chance Nica is still in there with Chucky possessing her, he will do everything he can to find a way to get her back.
This basically, leads into Season 1 (taking place 2 weeks after Cult) but Alice insists on joining Andy and Kyle on their mission...
YES!
Omg this is so good! I love it! And imagining her role in season 1 would be so interesting and perfect…

Alice lives AU!
It follows canon pretty closely but Alice Pierce lives. It takes place after Curse of Chucky and Tiffany does get legal guardianship of Alice. Instead of Chucky being killed in Alice’s body he transfers his soul into another Good Guy doll.
Cult of Chucky still happens and Nica!Chucky moves in with Tiffany, Alice, and the twins. Between Curse and Cult Alice had been taught voodoo and was led to believe that what Chucky had done to Nica was good.
Alice ends up being closest with Glen because she believes that murder is wrong much like they do. She is also close with Nica!Chucky and tries to see her aunt as much as she can.

Hot Take: Alice was a wasted character who had potential to be part of the trio as the big sister alongside being the one who connects the trio to a legacy character in some way. It also has to do with my belief Don would forget Alice is dead and have her be alive and all
More Lore To Alice In The AU
-Alice goes by maternal surname Pierce being prepared if she finds her aunt or her aunt’s dead she’s takes her mom and aunt’s name in honor of them and being the last Pierce member standing.
-Loves cats and often enjoyed seeing Jake’s cat when walking to Mrs.Grayson. The cat turned up dead in Grayson’s doorstep with Alice realizing it was fucking Chucky.
-Is also the one who calls Jake the second time asking him if the doll asked him to play “hide the soul”.
-Goes to Hackensack High (Look you cannot tell those 14 years old were in 9th grade, not 8th grade in middle school) as a transfer student from another school.
-Is skilled with a Bowie knife but is known to be good with shotguns given. Uses a Bowie knife for a bit before switching to a large hunting knife when living with Fairchild with the trio
-The reason she was able to be no longer possessed, it was her strong will and love for her aunt with her strong determination is what saved her.
-Her style has more of a grungy vibe but gets more lighter as she’s ages during the first arc and third arc
-She despises Tiffany a lot to the point she’s willing to kill her without hesitation especially when seeing her waltzing at the funeral and recognizing the 16 year old.
-Alice works partime as a movie theater employee which would play a role at some point in the first arc alongside the young man” at the hotel which Tiffany picks his iPhone and hears calling on voice mail which she realizes that the little girl under her care is still alive.
-if your wondering who Mrs.Grayson is, she’s an old friend (Mid 60s) of Andy’s who often came to his gun shop and would go out hunting with him and some buds. She’s a known believer in the superstition as well being the reason Alice is able to reside in Hackensack for a while as she moved thet from Illinois but kept in touch with Andy. She’s killed off midway later on.

Somebody on Chucky reddit said that Alice should have been the protagonist of the Chucky show. And honestly, I want to see that.
Also shoutout to @erasedmystic111 au that has her as one of the protagonists in the series.

My first gift to Chucky is publishing extracts from his very own guide book on child rearing. It’s his perspective on the kids he’s encountered, including his own. I warn you, it’s not to everyone’s taste, even I winced when I read what he wanted me to publish on this blog, but then he reminded me that it’s Father’s Day and that he simply wanted to share his fatherly wisdom, so… here you go.
————————————————————-
Why hello, my name is Chucky, welcome to my childcare guide book. I have many years of experience being around kids, I even have two of my own. In all of my years, I’ve searched desperately for a book or some sort of video guide that could help me understand the young people in my life, but nothing I found ever related to my exact situation. This is the guide that I wish I’d had back in the 1980s. If you’re somehow seeing this Andy, I blame you for everything that’s gone wrong in my life.
————————————————————-
Modern Teenagers:
The most important thing I can teach you about the youth of today is that you have to relate to them on their level. One thing I like to do when I’m talking to a modern day teenager is reference Instagram. Remember how exciting it was when you were a kid and grownups would reference the Batman comic you’d just read? This is the modern day equivalent. Have I ever used the app? Not really, but I did talk to a teenager (thank you Junior, RIP) who assured me that Insta followers are a very valued commodity for today’s youth.
A lot of teenagers don’t actually like me. Can’t figure out why, I’m very cool. If you experience the same issue, I can recommend that you should not aim to traumatise teenagers unless you have a goal, because some of them have the strength of full grown adults along with raging hormones, it’s like fighting the Hulk. Word of advice - it’s usually frowned upon to try and offer a teenager drugs, and many teens will decline before murdering you in a brutal fashion.
————————————————————-
Young Kids:
Kids under the age of ten make better stooges, but if they have good parents, it’s harder to make them do what you want. Some  manipulation persuasion tactics that I’ve used in the past with young kids include:
Convincing a boy that I was sent by his deceased father to be his companion/playmate (successful for about two days, not recommended for the long term)
Convincing a girl that her mother was not her biological mother in order to fill that maternal role with my ex instead
Convincing another girl that I wanted to play a game called ‘Hide the Soul’ then possessing her body (RIP Alice Pierce)
Little kids are surprisingly easy to convince that your way is for the best, but this gift is to be used sparingly in order to avoid the risk of said kid getting wise to what’s happening and not following your leadership. Another top tip - if the child you are trying to manipulate persuade has protective older relatives that are surprisingly skilled with a variety of weapons and forms of combat, figure out at least five potential exits from the situation or else you will be killed.
————————————————————-
Introducing Your Biological Children To Your Interests:
As previously mentioned, I have two kids of my own. Can I tell you how old they are? …No, I’m not actually sure. I wanna say twenty? No… they were ‘born’ in 2004, so… nineteen at the most.
Anyway, my kids- twins, Glen and Glenda- are quite strange. The older one didn’t see the value of murder, and the younger one seemed kinda psychotic when I met them. But still, I tried to install a love of violence in my eldest child, because that’s how I bond with others.
What I did was I took my older child out hunting late at night when their mother was sleeping (‘recovering from addiction’, don’t ask). I even introduced the kid to a celebrity (before mercilessly killing them… oops, I did it again) as we made our way to the house of a guy I didn’t like. My intention was to have the kid watch, but they were clearly so inspired by the incident in the car that they decided to take matters into their own hands. I’ve never been more proud, and I was even prouder a day or so later when they used what I taught them to kill me.
Now, I’m not saying that this technique will work for everyone, but it was very effective for me. Of course, every child is different. I mean, take my little Glenda for example (not so little anymore really). They were in control for all of five minutes, but they used their limited time in control of the body to murder a woman with a flamethrower and then make an incredible joke about it. That’s the sort of talent that a kid has to be born with, whereas my older child Glen had to coaxed into killing, but when they did, it was absolutely glorious.
So my advice to you, dear reader, is to choose an interest of yours that you’re best at to focus on and pass on to your child. If they pick it up and have a talent for it, great! Your talent will live on. But if they don’t quite get it or like it, it’s still a much needed chance to bond with your child, especially if you don’t see them for years.
————————————————————-
Reaching Out To The Children You Haven’t Seen For Years As An Adult:
I have a lot of experience with this. Andy Barclay, Barbara and Nica Pierce as well as my own kids have all gone many years without seeing me, and when I reentered their lives, I did it in a big way. Murder attempts are a classic way to go, but what if you’re looking for henchmen assistants? Two words for you, my friends: compliments and persuasion. Young kids will believe almost anything you say (see above) and older kids who are starved for affection will do whatever you ask in the hopes of receiving more affection. It’s foolproof.
————————————————————-
Final Words:
Kids are interesting, complex tiny humans who don’t quite understand how the world works. I’m not an expert, but I did consult my childhood therapist whilst writing this, who told me the following:
‘Small children are ridiculously easy to mould and teenagers are ticking time bombs of anxiety. He or she who controls children controls the future.’
Do I think that’s a good takeaway from this guide book? Not quite, even I think that’s a tad too far. I just felt it was necessary to include it, because it’s… certainly a quote.
Before I leave you, I’d like to thank and acknowledge the following people:
Tiffany Valentine - the mother of my children
Glen and Glenda Ray - the twins who made me a father
Andy Barclay - a person who taught me how irritating children can be
Nica Pierce - an interesting adversary and an even more interesting person to possess
Kyle Simpson - for teaching me to never underestimate a woman, especially a young one
Alice Pierce - a nice girl who went too soon
Junior Wheeler - a valuable source of information on modern teenagers
Jake Wheeler - same as Junior, also a promising artist
Caroline Cross - an interesting kid who shows great promise as a killer
I hope you enjoyed my book, hopefully, with the advice I provided, you can be as great as a parent as I am.

okay so if nica is having fucking alice flashbacks she's probably gonna mention it in a fit of rage somewhere down the line so WHAT IF CHUCKY ADMITS THAT ALICE ISN'T DEAD TO DISTRACT NICA FROM CAROLINE? what if he makes her go on a wild goose chase trying to find her niece? what if chucky lied and the only thing nica finds are alice's bones? or what if he told the truth? or what if chucky doesn't even know alice is alive because they were knocked out during a fight and then tiffany got alice unpossessed and dropped alice into foster care under a different name and tiffany went back to chucky with a story about alice dying? what if nica is forced to work with tiff in order to find her maybe-alive niece?

Okay, so I just found out that Summer (Alice) has been in a movie with Devon Sawa before and now I can't stop thinking of an AU where Alice survived and befriends the kids in season 1 as she is trying to stop Chucky.
I'm thinking Alice found her grandmother before Chucky possessed her and ran away. Andy found out about a girl claiming that a doll was after her and made the connection to Nica. He managed to get guardianship over Alice with the help of Karen, Mike, and Kyle, and at that point, Alice obviously knew the truth about what happened.
There was still a lot of trouble with Andy trying to visit Nica, and essentially, the plot of Cult happens. Except Andy gets to the door before NicaChucky closes it and knocks her out.
Anyway, over the next 4 years, they found a way to free Nica from possession. She has been reunited with Alice and is staying at the cabin with her and Andy. (Nica and Andy may or may not start dating at some point)
We end up in the fall of 2021, and Nica and a now 16 year old Alice are with Andy and Kyle as they hunt down Chuckys. Alice takes it upon herself to sneak into the middle school to see if her 'Auntie Rachel' has spotted anything unusual. (Rachel is friends with Nica, Andy and, Kyle and knows that she is innocent but wasn't told about Chucky being a living doll for her own safety)
Basically, I was getting to the point that Alice befriends the kids once she finds out they know something and advises them to warn Junior and include him. She eventually ends up meeting the teens parents (Michelle, Nathan, Bree, Logan, Kim) and immediately takes a dislike to both Michelle and Logan.
Alice has totally developed Nica (and Andy's) attitudes and will absolutely use that against Logan and Michelle.
…….YES!
OH MY FUCK YES!
I’VE HEARD OF A COUPLE AUS WHERE ALICE SURVIVES BUT THIS MIGHT BE MY NEW FAVORITE BECAUSE OF HOW WELL-DETAILED THIS WAS!
I LOVE HIS SO MUCH OMG!!!!

I just noticed multiple parallels between the first scene we see Henry in and the scene where Alice goes to bed in Curse.
I'm getting very scared for the little dude...

Explaining Alice’s visions in the AU
-They’re more of being mind screw-like as this how many dreams are but for Alice’s case it’s more eerie in nature.
-The dreams aren’t prophetic nor are clairvoyant as they’re meant to be vague with some advantage and disadvantages to it. Trying to make sure even with the plot holes they make sense with the concept of being vauge
-Alice’s visions started manifesting when she was 12 which originally started off static-like which she never understand at all outside of the static beocming more clear in the few days, the third day she has a dream in which she’s in a dark void with a tv playing in static and just sees her aunt looking before turning to her and screaming “help me”. It didn’t Alice to discovered the next morning police are at her foster parents place and begin to question her if she ran into her aunt.
Advantages:
-She’s able to know instinctively where the splinter as it’s only works through her aunt’s possession being they face the similar spell.
-Even if vague, she’s able to pinpoint the location if she’s something familiar from mind screw or the dream.
-Can see from the splinter within her aunt hence can show her a few seconds to minutes depending on the how strong the dream is as it’s usually meant to be more limited and vague.
Disadvantage:
-They come out of nowhere usually when Nica!Chucky is killing or blood is shed by them
-They don’t work when she’s sick or has a fever which I think Andy figured that out the hard way when she and Kyle got food poisoning from Thai takeout in Chicago.
NOTES
-As soon as her aunt’s no longer possessed, Alice loses some aspect of the vision but still has that ability to sense the presence of a splinter which I think the Belle doll having a major could work but also at the same time it’s debatable.
-Alice is meant to not just an ally but is someone who’s willing to do things sometimes questionable if it means finding her aunt which Mrs.Grayson while passive is so done with her shit.
-It’s hard to describe them but it’s something that has to work in a way to give reason on Alice’s reason and purpose in the AU.
Quick side I was aware for a few years and still don’t like that Don revealed he was trying to kill her off early in Curse and later in Cult as knowing Don he can do a 180 on his word and also I don’t trust him with how he handles the storyline and characters even if he’s thinks he’s Junji Ito. It makes me overthink he was originally intending on killing off Nica in early concept for S1 when in making as a mini series
