Haven't got to my Conqueror of Shamballa rewatch yet, but I was super drawn to Edward and Heiderich's relationship. If I was in charge of that movie, I would have hyper-focused on it. My friend let me borrow some colored pencils, so I went all out.

Every time I watch Conqueror of Shamballa again, I wish that the film could've been a short OVA series. I would've loved to see it in that kind of format, even as a short-run series. Show me Edward solving problems in the real world without alchemy and instead with science. Show me his world's real-life counterparts more, even as little callbacks to the original series. Show Edward and Alfons sharing more time together and bonding over technology!! Bonus if it occasionally cuts to Alphonse dealing with things in his world. Imagine the parallels; the opportunities to tie in lessons/messages for more character development are right there!
And please make more CoS fanart. I eat that sht up lol
