Almost five years ago a little Australian ran (and probably knocked something over on the way) into my life and changed it forever. International Al Park Day is one of my favourites of the year. I’ve had banners, napkins and paper plates all printed up with your face on and I’ve had most of the major streets of London shut down for the parade I’m throwing later on all to make up for the fact that I won’t be able to see you on your birthday. You are the best mate a little Tim could ever ask for and I’m so lucky and happy every day I get to be in your life. Trust me. There is no one in the world quite like Al Park. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE. The Royals 4x06 Episode recap:

Spoilers ahead:

First off, I love the opening of this episode. I love how it sort of started in the middle and then went backward to show how they got there.

I knew it was Sebastian in the bedroom with Helena. I honestly love the relationship between Helena and Duchie. It makes me appreciate my mother all the more. Sebastian is a good friend to all the Royals it seems like.

Ugh. I’m sort of over Willow and Robert. I’m so annoyed with how quickly he proposed. They need to date for awhile before they even think of getting engaged. It’s just moving way too fast. Date awhile you two!

Oh, I love political refugee Cyrus. He is so fucking hilarious. I love him way more than Ex-King Cyrus.

Looks like things are working out for Liam and Kathryn. Which is good because I want Liam to be happy for once.

I love the interaction between Jasper and Len. You can really feel the chemistry between Tom and Alexandra in that scene. They really have such great chemistry and a great friendship. I want a best friend like Alexandra or Tom! It was really awkward that Robert jut walked in without knocking. Kind of creepy dude. Please. Stop being creepy and knock on your sisters door!

I love Len’s smile when she reads the article about the modern day Robin Hood. She has such great character development.

I love that we’re getting more of a backstory between Jasper and his father. It’s showing that Jasper really has been hurt by his father in the past. He just wants to be happy with Len.

I love the James Bond look on Jasper. He looks so damn good! Also, when Sebastian walked up, you could see how annoyed Jasper got. I saw his face and thought “oh Jasper is so annoyed right now!”

This shall be a very interesting birthday dinner. I can’t wait!

Oh Cyrus. You reap what you sow. That’s all I have to say.

I love how quick Helena was to defend herself when Len said ‘Sebastian is here.’ Just how she said it and her face when she did. It was amazing! Awe! I loved the birthday present to her. They knew she loved Royal and Beautiful so the fact that they brought her fave character shows they really care for her. And how she reacted, that’s how I would react if I ever met anyone from The Royals.

Oh, I can just feel the awkwardness between everyone when Kathryn and Liam showed up. This is just the best episode ever. I love it so much!

I love this whole dinner. All the jabs at each other, Hansel stirring the pot. It’s literally everything that happens when a family gets together. No one pulls any stops. But I love it so damn much. I loved Len’s little comment when Duchie asked what Jasper’s father does for a living. I also loved how she defended her mother and shut Robert down by telling him not to start with her.

Oh gosh. What a stark contrast to the dinner Helena and Co are having then to show what Cyrus is eating. It shows how far he’s fallen. And how he pouts like a little kid.

Oh I love how Len, again, messed up an American saying and Jasper giving her kudos anyways for trying. That’s real couple goals right there! Sebastian is just sitting there like ‘welp. Guess I’m involved now.’ I love this!

Willow. You absolute idiot. You pride yourself on being smart but you just made a big mistake. He’s going to break your heart.

I love how, even though Jasper hates his father, he still letting him know what is going on. Wait, what?! Jasper’s father shot him? Father of the fucking year! Who could shoot their own child? Oh god. Earl’ excuse is just the best thing ever “I meant to miss by two inches but I left my glasses in the car.” Priceless.

About time Liam starts being the Liam that I fell in love with at the beginning of the episode. It’s been a long time coming and I’m so happy about it.

Oh yeah! Get some Helena! You definitely need it after that dinner.

Say what you will about Earl Frost, but he actually does look out for his son. Getting Robert to make Jasper a knight? Pretty damn good plan if you ask me. He’s right though. The people do love themselves some Jaspenor.

Oh gosh. The twins, smoking a joint. They definitely need it after that dinner. I do love how the twins get high and Helena gets laid. Hey, to each their own!

About time Helena and Duchie made up. They’ve been at each other’s throats for awhile so it’s definitely about time.

I love how Jasper just knew the Len was stoned. He just had to look at her and know. I do love how they are finally talking about their problems and not hiding them anymore. I love me some Jaspenor. How they were sitting on the bed and Len is touching his face, reminds me of season 1 when Len had to do all those charity meetings and she got high. Perfect parallel! Jasper looks like ‘what the hell just happened?’

Oh god. Cassandra really is like Gemma! Planting ideas into Robert’s head! He doesn’t want you girl! Stop trying to turn him over to your side! If he wants Willow, no matter how quick it seems, he wants her. Let it go!

I loved the last scene of Helena with Prince Hansel. I loved it even more because that was Elizabeth Hurley’s real life son.

I loved the promo for next week! Hopefully, it’s more Jaspenor than anything!

The Royals 4x01 Episode Recap

This is about to get long:

‘Are you shitting me right now?’

That’s all I have to say about this weeks premiere episode. I loved every minute of it! All the questions I had from the season three finale were sort of answered in the episode.

First off, I’m not too sure about this alliance between Liam and Cyrus. I don’t like it. I don’t want Liam turning out like his uncle. Hungry for power and not caring who he hurts along the way to get what he wants. I get that he wants to take Robert down but I feel like there is a better way that doesn’t involve becoming Cyrus 2.0. Although, their interaction is funny as hell! I don’t like how Cyrus told Liam to play Greta just to get what he wants. It would basically be what Robert did to Kathryn.

Robert is definitely playing Helena. At least to me. I don’t like how he immediately brings up what happened between her and Spencer at Christmas. I think we’re going to find out Robert was lying so that he could keep his mother close.

I love that they brought Boone back. Even if it was for an episode. You can tell he really felt bad about what he did to Robert. To think that Robert and Ted were working together makes a lot of sense if you really think about it. Liam was right. Robert had tons of chances to get off the island. Why would he wait until after Simon was dead? #KingLiam. That’s all I’m saying.

I love the fact that Helena and Eleanor are close again. You can tell that they’ve really worked out their issues.

I admit I was bit disappointed when Len didn’t look back at Jasper when she was leaving. You could tell she wanted to so bad but she had to stay strong for herself, even if it was hurting both her and Jasper. I did like Sebastian smirking a bit. You can tell he really cares for Len. Which is what she needs. She needs people to actually care for her and look out for her.

Oh my gosh! Sarah Alice marking the days off until Eleanor gets back is so frigging adorable. You can tell she really looks up to Len and that she really misses her. I love the fact that Len is doing these “Hoteleanors.” You can really see she loves being creative and actually doing something productive.

I don’t really care for the Liam/Kathryn/Robert/Willow love square. So I don’t think I’ll be posting about it unless something big happens.

I love Rosie being a badass security detail for Len. I loved her line of, “Big knife? Over-compensating for something?” You can tell she actually cares for Len and wants to be her friend and her security detail. I love that Sebastian actually cares for her as a friend before anything else. The fact that he caught onto Jasper using Liam to send letters and encouraging Len to read them instead of running away from them really makes my heart beat. I’m glad Len has a great friend in Sebastian. I think Sebastian has Len’s best interest at heart.

I love that she spent all night reading his letters. And I love how they shot it. With all the different emotions she had, from smiling to laughing to crying. It was beautifully done. The music was the perfect choice as well.

I love that she decided to finally go home. I hope we get to see a reunion between Len, Jasper and Sarah Alice. That dynamic makes me smile so much.

No. No! No! Jasper better live! Those shots of Len texting him and then they show Jasper laying on the floor bleeding and then his phone goes off? It broke my heart! She has no idea her whole world is about to break apart. They were so close yet so far apart!

The promo for next week broke my heart. It’s going to be all about Jaspenor and that makes me happy but it also makes me said because I feel like they’ll leave it off on a cliff hanger. But the fact that Len is saying “I’m not leaving him again. I’m right here baby. Come back to me.” shows that she is willing to give him one last chance and that she really does love him.
