Fortuzzi stammt aus einer deutsch-italienischen Theaterfamilie. Sein Vater ist der Schauspieler Alberto Fortuzzi.
2019 wurde Fortuzzi für seine schauspielerische Leistung im mehrfach preisgekrönten rbb-Drama. Alles Isy (Buch und Regie: Mark Monheim und Max Eipp) mit dem Deutschen Fernsehpreis-Förderpreis 2019 ausgezeichnet.

Fortuzzi is from a German-Italian theater family. His father is the actor Alberto Fortuzzi.

Short Film: LILA
What is the project about?
The focus of the approximately half hour drama LILA is Gino, the son of an Italian immigrant. They live in poor conditions on the outskirts of Berlin and have problems keeping themselves afloat.
Bernardo, Gino's father, has been ill for some time. He can no longer manage on his own and is dependent on his son. Before and after work, Gino takes care of his father and does everything for the household. His girlfriend Gloria and his cousin Valerio support him wherever they can. Because Bernardo is no longer working, Gino is under even greater pressure to earn enough money. Bernardo's condition worsens from week to week until he desperately needs surgery. But since he is not covered by health insurance, you have to bear the costs yourself. So Gino has to get more money - he doesn't know how.
At the same time, Gloria's ex-boyfriend Momo reappears and increasingly brings unrest to Gino's life. He still loves Gloria and wants her back - he makes that clear by all means. Another threat that Gino faces and for which he has no solution. Finally, when both problems come to a head, Gino sees no other option but to take the path he always wanted to avoid - the criminal path. Together with his cousin, he raids Momo's store and loses a loved one.
LILA is a portrait of a young adolescent who is struggling with his problems. It's about family, love and despair - and how far a person is willing to go.
Who is involved with the project?
We were able to attract outstanding actors and young talents to the cast. The main role is played by Michelangelo Fortuzzi. His brother Valentino Fortuzzi and their father Alberto Fortuzzi play at his side. At LILA, the actor family is in front of the camera for the first time. Julia Obst plays the female lead. Also included are Huseyin Ekici, Emre Cakir and Kenan Taner.

In "Tatort: Leonessa" (8.3., Das Erste) from Ludwigshafen, a bar owner was shot in his western pub. In the search for the perpetrator, the investigators Lena Odenthal (Ulrike Folkerts, 58) and Johanna Stern (Lisa Bitter, 36) find themselves in a circle of young people who apparently live the day without drive and operate a dangerous business model. Leon Grimminger is one of them. The pale boy, who hovers between tribulation and euphoria, is magnificently embodied by Michelangelo Fortuzzi (19).
Excellent performance in the rape drama "Alles Isy"
Michelangelo Fortuzzi, born on January 23, 2001, comes from a German-Italian theater family. Both his father Alberto Fortuzzi (65) and his older brother Valentino Fortuzzi (22) are actors.
Michelangelo Fortuzzi first attracted attention in 2018 with the rbb drama "Alles Isy". In it he embodied the 16-year-old Jonas, who struggles with guilt after raping a classmate together with two friends. For his acting performance he was awarded the German Fernsehpreis in 2019.
Series star and thriller lover
Since 2018 he can be seen in the webseries "Druck", which is broadcast on the social media platform YouTube. In the German adaptation of the Norwegian original "SKAM" he plays the role of Matteo Florenzi, who is dealing with his sexual orientation. The series was nominated for the Grimme Prize 2019 in the "Children & Youth" division.
Fortuzzi has also been seen in German television productions. Among others in "Inga Lindström" (2015) and "Notruf Hafenkante" (2019). In 2019, he also got a role in the three-part "Preis der Freiheit".
