This might have been the most infuriating day of his life, between the mansion’s absurd puzzles and the grim orders he was less than thrilled to carry out. Sacrifice the STARS team? HIS team? Umbrella asked for much–

“Captain Wesker, you’re alive!” The sound of Chris’ voice rang with sharp relief as he bounded around the corner, breaking Wesker’s train of thought.

“Chris, you’re alive–” Wesker began. Not that he thought his best man would have gone down easy. Still he coldly tried to shut down the part of him that was pleased.

“My words exactly!” Wesker didn’t have any time to react before the other man practically tackled him into a hug, kissing him breathlessly.

Wesker returned the kiss of course. Chris would only be suspicious if he didn’t. Relief, regret and irritation mingled in the embrace. For a moment, Wesker wondered if he should kill the man here. If it would be a kindness.

He couldn’t do it. He told himself he was a cruel man.

A/N: Heya guys, this is my second piece of drabbles that includes a canon character x canon character ship! It’s chrisker so this was fun to right 🤭 Ash helped proofread and assisted in grammar mistakes, while also fixing Wesker’s personality just a smidge. Also this is an au where Wesker convinced/manipulated Chris into believing that his world was better than the one they were already living in :]

Chris walked up behind Wesker, burying his face into the back of Wesker’s neck as he closed his eyes softly, taking in the presence of his insane boyfriend.

“What do you need, Chris?”

Wesker called out in a monotone voice, deciding not to look towards Chris because he was occupied with his Uroboros notes. Chris blinked softly and inhaled, talking in Tagalog. He explained that some tricell employees had begun to turn their plans for Uroboros upside down, only because they had suddenly felt pity for the world. Wesker stopped reading and just stared ahead, frowning. He let out a thoughtful hum and turned his head; tapping his desk in front of him. Chris pulled away and walked to the desk, turning around to lean against it as he stared at Wesker with a head tilt.

“Dear,” Wesker gently grabbed ahold of Chris's face and rubbed his thumb against his jaw. “Would you kill them for me, Chris?”

Wesker grinned sadistically, narrowing his eyes at Chris from behind his sunglasses. Chris blinked softly, his hooded eyes stared at Wesker then looked away as he thought about his answer. Wesker moved Chris’ head to stare right at him.

“Yes,” Chris said softly when he made eye contact with Wesker, “Of course, mahal.” Chris gently grabbed Wekser's hand then pulled it towards his lips and kissed it softly. “I’d kill anyone for you.” Chris reopened his eyes and looked right back into Wesker's, even though his hid behind his shades. Wesker nodded and pulled away with a pleased smile, “Enjoy yourself, make sure to eat after you're done.” Chris let go of Wesker before nodding walking off.
