TW: Depictions of slight torture, blood, death. This was started from messing with picrews and encouraged by @chasing-starlights @alarstar This is yandere do not read if you aren't ok with it.
Also my first shot at a reader insert
Lilith Found A New Love
You were finally starting over. No more crappy boss or overbearing family. You were out on your own and excited. This was one of the only towns where humans and giants were commonly working together too. Working with giants had seemed like a far off dream when you were a kid, but now it was real. A few days of barely leaving your apartment to unpack you decide it was time to adventure. On that walk to explore you met her.
She had her hair done up in pigtails with a white ribbon tied to the right one. A scar ran over her eye, but it somehow suited her. The striking red eyes and bright white pupils were almost terrifying. If that wasn’t enough, she was a giant. She was one of the shorter giants, but still towered over you. At your best guess she was about fifteen feet tall, making your five and few inches seem miniscule. You took a step back, realizing you’d nearly crashed into her.
“U-uhm sorry pardon me,” you stuttered out. You hadn’t met a giant in person before, it was more intimidating than you expected. The fact she was on the shorter end made you worried about starting your new job. You tried to just give a polite smile and step by her, but she blocked your path.
“You’re cuter up close,” she said. She leaned closer, her hair cascading around you. This was nerve wracking. Hearing you’re cute from someone you already thought was stunning sent your heart beat skyrocketing. You opened your mouth to reply, but one of her large fingers silenced you. You did as she wanted, giving up your attempt to talk. She smiled, a beautiful smile as far as you were concerned. She seemed to be considering something when a giant at least twice her size came near.
“Oh wonderful another giant with a thing for humans, she isn’t good enough for you sweetheart,” the rude giant chastised. Your cheeks burned, you already knew giants and humans weren’t common couples, but no reason to get involved. The giant put their large hand on her shoulder and her entire demeanor changed. The light almost inviting smile dropped and her white pupils grew wide, the red in her eyes barely visible. She immediately turned to face the larger giant, a hand gripping the one on her shoulder. You could see as she squeezed and the rude giant went from confused to pained.
“Ow, girl what do you think you’re doing,” they screeched. “I’m just giving you some friendly advice.”
“Did you,” she started. She roughly pulled the hand, sending the giant off balance. You were sure something cracked when she pulled. They barely caught themselves as one knee hit the ground. “Just imply my love isn’t good enough for anyone?”
You stumbled back as she displayed her strength. Forcing a giant down like that seemed like it should be impossible with such a height difference. You watched as she bent the other giant’s hand in a way that was definitely not natural. Your eyes went wide as she forced them onto their back climbing on top of them. You could see clearly how the larger giant’s arm didn’t look right anymore. You fell to your knees when she pulled a large knife from her back. She shouldn’t just be carrying something like that around, this makes no sense. They were rude, nothing more.
“H-Hey lady calm down,” the giant started to plead. “Sorry I insulted your little girlfriend, j-just get off and I won’t press charges for the broken hand either.”
She looked at you, the white pupils wide enough there was no red left to see. She had a smile that sent a shiver down your spine. You wanted to leave, but you were frozen on the ground. She turned her head back to the giant and held the knife closer to them. The larger giant reached up with their good arm and you clearly heard the crack as she slammed the hilt of the knife into it. The giant screamed and you had to cover your ears from the volume. She seemed almost giddy as the giant she’d overpowered squirmed in pain. There was no way she should be able to keep him down like this, she was half his size at least.
“I can’t just let you go,” she smirked, sliding the knife she held along his face. “If you’re willing to say that she isn’t good enough for someone, I can only imagine what you could do to hurt her. Even worse, no one knows she’s mine yet, you’ll be a perfect example.”
“Wait, fuck, you’re that crazy-” the giant was cut off as the knife slammed into the ground creating a thin line in their cheek. They tried to struggle, but you could see the fear on their face. It seemed to make her only more determined. She pulled the knife harshly out of the ground, deepening the cut on their cheek. They went to speak again and she used the flat side of the knife to silence them. She shot another look at you before leaning close to their face.
“Now now, you are being far too loud,” she started to slowly turn the edge of the knife pricking the giant’s lips. “My little love can’t have their ears hurt with your shouting and screaming. It seems I’ll have to get rid of that spiteful tongue first.”
You watched in horror as she acted on her words with no hesitation. You felt almost sick as you saw the blood spill out of their mouth. You could see the sputtering of the giant as they tried to empty their mouth. The blood dripped down the sides of their face, she looked at you with concern slowly replacing the crazed looks..
“Oh no, darling,” she jumped off the giant and rushed over to you. There was blood splattered on her face, the knife still gripped in her hand and drenched in the poor giant’s blood. She quickly kneeled to be more at eye level with you, leaning so close your foreheads were nearly touching. “Love, do you have trouble with blood?”
Fear had you nearly paralyzed, but you nodded vigorously. You hoped this would put an end to her torture and she’d leave, but you were wrong. She turned her head down, a shadow taking over her eyes. She slowly stood back to her full height, her hair falling over her shoulders. She turned back to the giant who had only barely managed to roll onto their side. They were trying their best to keep their mouth empty of blood. She flicked the knife, blood splattering on the ground as she started to walk over to the giant again. You started to shake your head as you realized saying no didn’t save the larger giant..
“Then I’ll finish this quickly darling,” she didn’t spare a glance back as she moved. She’d quickly stalked up to the giant again. They tried to get away, but she was faster. Once she was standing over the giant, it felt like the world stopped. None of you moved, and she just stared down at the poor soul who had caught her ire. She quickly broke the frozen moment kicking the large giant hard and forcing them to lay flat again. She climbed up a sickeningly innocent laugh coming from her as she started stabbing the knife deeply into the giant's chest. You felt bile rise in your throat from the sickening squelch. She twisted the blade forcefully before ripping it back out. The blue shirt the larger giant wore was quickly covered by their blood. You watched helplessly as the life drained from their eyes.
She used their pants to wipe the blood off of her blade. Once she was satisfied she carefully slipped it into the sheath you could see now on her back. She turned to you with a wide smile, one that terrified you. You could see the adoration in her eyes, you didn’t want to find out what happened if you didn’t feel the same. She still had blood on her face, the red dress she’d worn today keeping the rest hidden. The blood stuck in her purple hair as she flicked it back. You swallowed nervously as she finally returned looming over you.
“Now love, let’s get back to our conversation,” she said, you could hear the sirens in the distance, someone had seen everything. Someone had called for help, only too late for the other giant, hopefully in time for you. “My name is Lilith, and yours my love?”

❄️ - Do they like the snow? Do they have snowball fights? Do they make snow angels, snowmen, forts, etc?
Fuck no. The Venandi homeworld is essentially if Death Valley were a planet, it's extremely hot at best and uncomfortably warm at worse, which is exactly how they like it. Anything below 70 degrees is utterly miserable, so snow is basically ungodly. The only one of them who's ever experienced snow was Ylva when Zeyro took her to his homeworld and she had to wear like 50 coats in order to not be frozen stiff.
👪 - What are some family or friend traditions they do?
Non holiday related, Edix and Ylva like to go bar hopping once a month when they're back home. Holiday related, Edix will take a trip to his parents' place in the countryside to visit them and his sisters and spend New Years with them, provided he's actually on the planet
🍴 - What’s their favorite holiday food / dish?
I've said before that Jacob absolutely loves pastries and such, so probably cinnamon rolls or fresh sugar cookies when his mom makes them for all the kids when they come home for Christmas (:
