Something that has kept bugging me about nirvana initiative (apart from the timeline twist that I'm mostly over) are the two hetero romance plotlines. Kizuna and Lien, or Amame and Gen. Those both felt forced, in a way that felt like the work was leaning on "guy and girl who say they love each other" as the only thing needed. I could shrug at forced hetero romance in itself. I have far more than enough experience at that skil. But then there's the particulars.

Like Lien being a stalker who doesn't have a normal casual conversation with his crush, plus at one point having to defensively tell us his stalking didn't involve following her into bathrooms. Or Gen feeling like a parental figure to Amame, with the notion of there being anything romantic being introduced in a comical way. You know, us diving into Gen's mind as he's dying and him giving a monologue about how his feelings are not paternal and are definitely romantic.

The things we do for love -

Something that isn't really gone into in depth in the series, especially Nirvana Initiative, is Pewter's connection with the psyncers. He and Ryuki do have similarities. (More thoughts in tags)

#this is a pretty niche duo i know #but i think about pewter a lot and i like drawing connections where things aren't talked about #and i'm curious about the parallels and relationships he could have with the rest of abis!#look. look. the watches. losing someone close to them. being manipulated. betraying their colleagues and acting out of love for another.#ryuki places others' wellbeing above his own worth #pewter puts renju's worth above his own #i can't say i think of ryuki and pewter being super close (he has date and tama for that)#but i think it would be nice for ryuki to have someone who could understand even a little #and don't even get me started on the potential for pewter and mizuki interaction !! like, he's still a loving brother, but he'll gladly take the opportunity to scream "you dumb piece of SHIT why the HELL would Tearer be in an ADORABBIT suit??? you've seen the man in. person. unbelievable. and look at you, you can't even spell 'affect' right on your report. and don't forget the fact that yesterday you fucking put your phone in the FREEZER. that's the third time this month. get yourself together. and learn to cook, you're a grown ass man and you've eaten nothing but ramen and takeout for the last two months. DO YOU EVEN OWN A RICE COOKER? you are BETTER than this, Kuruto."

and when Ryuki finally goes to the hospital like Tama told him he'll spend half his time there venting to his therapist that his dead twin brother yelled at him because he dropped his oreos for the fifth time this week

I have a question to throw out. Anyone interested in being a beta reader for a one shot character centred fic, set around an AINI character specifically? I must resist the instinct...I musn't give in to my animalistic urges...! But still, I think I'm going to burst like a pinata!! I guess just this once it's fine. Just a liiiittle tiny bit...!

IM SO HAPPY THAT THE HOMESTUCK FANDOM HAD ITS COMEBACK Homestuck: The fans strike again or Hiveswap: The Revival of the Homestuck Reconning?

I guess it was because of the SAHCon? I missed it by a landslide, if I knew...! But oh well, it is pretty nice to see everyone excited and passionate again. Makes me feel warm inside, yknow?

I gotta adress the elephant in the room tho

I'm looking forward to seeing Hiveswap Act 3! They seem to have come up with new trolls (I hope the old ones aren't completly and utterly destroyed...how are people suppossed to write fics of dead people? Unless it's in dreambubbles or something...idk...does that even work outside of sburb? questions and more questions)

But talking about the new trolls...their designs are so cute...! I think I gotta go with the flow and like probably the axototl girl...! even though facepalm guy and fluffymccoat seem very fun too!

I also got the feeling that the backgrounds get more and more colorful with each act (and I'm not complaining, because i personally am a sucker for a nice aesthetic palette) and more...how should I put this...intricate? more detailed? I'm not good with words

I think I'm gonna check out a few fanmade projects while I wait. I already downloaded Friendsim 2 (it's really frikkin good, but i am too dense for puzzles and headscratchers, I am a little afraid to go on and mess up...I really don't like getting game overs for some reason, my stomach turns a little bit)

And maybe some fanmade webcomics on MSPFA, we'll see! I was thinking personally of creating my own homestuck project, but...I lack the passion and abilities, to make it look and sound good. Maybe in the future, who knows.

I don't think so. Talking about projects, my actual ones are put on hold for a bit, since I can't find the motivation to work on those.

And I'm pretty gushy about Ryuki in AI: The Somnium Files, Nirvana Initative. He's so soft.

Also, SiNoAlice is coming to an end in the japanese server. I find it a bit sad, that Gretel got his wish and turned into his deceased sister (giant boobs on Gretel just looks a bit...unusual for me. I mean, I'm sure it's just a think to get used to, And she does look pretty cute. But she isn't "my" Gretel anymore, but his sister, yknow? Wow, that sounded actually creepier than I had intended. Welp.)

It's nice to write my thoughts again like this, gives me a lot of nostalgia. Since my friend who I normally always tell this stuff is, let's say, busy at the moment...well, you know. I also like seeing my thoughts like this. It's a bit like hide and seek, burying something in the ground for someone to find, maybe years later. Thrilling, I daresay. Or should I say...SMASHING okay I'll stop, I'm sorry XD
