Okie I lied, one more CV fanart for the end of 2023! (Also I still need to do Maria Renard fanart at some point so far from last CV fanart lol. Not before my Blasphemous fanarts though!)

What a better way to celebrate New Year's Eve than some Aeon and Saint Germain fanart! It always saddened me how Saint Germain never got a cool Ayami Kojima mural painting, so I decided why not make a fun art study/tribute piece featuring Aeon and Saint Germain! Treated it like an oil painting study given I'm currently painting on mouse.

Aeon was difficult because the mission was to essentially reimagine how he would have looked if he had been designed by Ayami Kojima from the beginning as opposed to Takashi Obata! To sync with Saint Germain (Edwardian gentleman's attire), Aeon now has more of a semi historically accurate look to his clothes (1849 Victorian gentleman's evening tuxedo)! Also his Clockblade lacks a chain now due to imagining he would dimensionally manifest his weapon!

I'm super happy I could conclude the Year of the Rabbit with this art, and I'm very excited to begin the new year with much more!

My brain hurts today but for some reason I decided I wanted to do a drawing meme that I saw floating around. So I asked some folks over Twitter to choose six characters I should draw and I tried to pick those in the pool that I have never/hardly drawn.

Clearly Netflix Castlevania isn't going to bring these two together so looks like I gotta do it myself. I can absolutely headcanon Aeon being the type to smile when him and Saint Germain hang out. Painted this with the mouse!

No. These people are also Belmonts. From the main timeline. The ones people don’t often talk about since they aren’t vampire hunters. Well, except one presumably.

I had made one verbal mention of the people of Wygol Village in my Belmont family timeline, but only didn’t bother to draw them because I wasn’t prepared to make chibis of 13 people I hadn’t brushed on before. But now I wanted to give it a go. I’m sorry the bottom three got smushed a little, all I needed was to see their faces.

Now going from left-to-right, top-to-bottom we have: Nikolai, Abram, Aeon, Anna (from Not-Frozen), Serge, Irina, Daniela, Eugen, George, Jacob, Laura, Marcel, and Monica.

They are considered distant relatives of the Belmont Clan, but given their relevance, I will keep them in the same book. These are super rough takes, and I’m sure I can polish up on several things should I draw them again. Overall, learning new faces is always welcome. ^^
