This is more so for me but I still wanted to share 🫶
Sandstone (Pinkie):
- b i g puppy energy
- Built for work but prefers to play
- Has crystal pony genes but depression makes them subdued. Can only go full crystal mode in a moment of pure and raw jubilation.
- after constantly being told who she’s supposed to be, they rejected the idea of labels entirely
- no labels for gender or sexuality means loving Pinkie does not impact your sexuality score!
- (intersex is not about gender but biological sex. That being said many intersex people use intergender as their gender as it relates to their experience as an intersex person.)
- deals with internalized ableism due to conservative fillyhood environment. Feels bad when they need to ask for help/support. Got herself an unofficial certificate in psychology so he can be his own therapist (it doesn’t work out)
- Parents would totally support the pony version of Autism Speaks just saying. Pinkie’s dad thinks neurodivergency is curable with hard work and the right attitude whilst her mom mourns the loss of her son after the diagnosis.
- ADHD makes xeir rejection sensitivity off the charts
- Internal battery runs on the company of others so can’t ever live alone.
- Had problems with food insecurity
- Relies on sugar as a steady supply of dopamine
- Can have moments of poor motor control. Clumsy
- Eyesight is bad but doesn’t wear glasses. Afraid that ponies will start thinking he is smart and they will expect even more from him. (In human world she wears contacts)
- Feels embarrassed being high support needs and just wants to be treated like everybody else. Hates when xer parents call her “special”
- Also hates being infantilized but is not confident in their decision making
- Xe is a sensory seeker unlike the rest of their family who are all sensory avoiders. Sisters compromise and try to meet his needs. Pinkie in turn tries to be mindful of their touch aversion but finds it hard sometimes. “Everypony’s just so scoop-able!”
- Trained Gummy to “stay”. Is very proud of his emotional support gator
Applejack:
- Is incredibly strong for her size
- feels like she has to constantly prove herself worthy of taking over the farm. Has gotten into arguments with Big Mac about overexerting herself
- Is a hinny (donkey mom and stallion dad) (ofc hinnies are supposed to have tails more like horse but I love the lion tail on AJ so 💁♀️) (I said mule in ALT text because most people don’t know what a hinny is)
- Because of this, she is more calm under pressure and thinks more logically
- has major depression from grief and ptsd (duh)
- Isn’t used to being in a stress free environment so she creates the stress
- Likes running the apple stand but certain families trigger her
- Obsessed with anything from the past generation. A time when her parents were young and happy
- Can be a bit insensitive to other’s problems and wants them to “put on their big girl pants” like she had to.
- Feels like she has to fill in the roles her parents used to do. Especially so Applebloom and Granny don’t have to stress over as many things.
- Was in the process of cutting her mane when she remembered that AB liked to braid it so she stopped half way.
- Is the mom of the friend group. Makes sure everyone’s needs are met before tending to her own. (Which is bad btw)
- Has problems with insomnia but getting better.
- Struggles with OCD and will repeat unnecessary tasks if she believes it will help protect her family
- Has an emotional support dog named Winona who also reminds AJ to take breaks 🐕🦺
- Sees no point in getting her chronic pain checked out. Will hopefully change her mind in the future. Wears leg braces to ease the soreness.
- Got diagnosed later on. Grief masked her autistic traits.
- Also has a hard time asking for help but has gotten better after she found out that Applebloom has been internalizing that mindset. She must lead by example
- Stick around long enough and she’ll happily invite you over with a hot cup of cider 🍺
- (Other people tend to fall in love while getting to know someone. Demiromantics however need to get to know the person first and then develop romantic feelings later)
- Thought she wasn’t capable of developing crushes until she got to know Coloratura.

people should gjve fluttershy more of a animal-worker. she goes to applejacks farm all the time to help with animals. she owns overalls and a cute straw hat to help feed them while shes there. she cares for wild animals almost 24/7. she owns cute hair bandanas for working constantly would wear her mane up to keep it out of her hair when she works. shes an early twenty something pony who runs an animal rehabilitation clinic alone in her own house. please

I am a man who is rewatching mlp but I don’t see myself as a brony. I do like the show mostly for the characters and interpersonal relationships. Also Rainbow Dash has more traits that make her autistic than Twilight does. One of my crushes when watching the show was Applejack. She’s pretty, cool, honest, hardworking and a good singer. I don’t really think Starlight deserved redemption and she should have been put in prison. Also her backstory was stupid. I find some brony analysts to be….toxic and weird. Some literally told victims of that one brony Youtuber to forgive him instead of trying to sympathize and side with the victims! The fandom is king of unhinged especially with saying Celestia is a tyrant or the whole molestia thing which is gross. Also Trixie deserved better.

i love how all the main characters of mlp are adults with jobs. It's possibly my favorite thing about friendship is magic. There's some child characters too but the main characters all being adults with responsibilities is so much more interesting than most kids' shows that are just about children in school.
Twilight being a grad student who runs the local library. Applejack and Rarity straight-up running actual businesses in town. Fluttershy runs an animal shelter? Rainbow Dash has a dead-end job and dreams of becoming a stunt flier like her heroes. Pinkie Pie's talent doesn't even relate to her job: she's the local entertainer but she also just happens to work in a bakery, where she rents the top floor. It's so fun and realistic? So many different plotlines came from their wide variety of jobs. Lauren Faust cooked so hard.

probably unpopular opinion but an adult man shipping himself with pinkie pie is kinda weird (in relation to that one guy who commissioned a ton of self-inserts with Pinkie Pie)
Like I know Rainbow Dash and Applejack are lesbians but a homophobic cisman shipping himself with one of them is still less offensive than shipping one(cismale)self with a character who is purposefully designed to be as child-like as possible. Most bronies only shipped the ponies in a wlw because of voyerism anyway, they would probably harrass or even kill a lesbian irl. It's like those men who lust after loli characters and justify it with Noooo, she's actually 2000 years old!!
I hope the justification for it is not something among the lines of "well, Pinkie's supposed to be neurodivergent, that's why she's childish", because as a (now) adult with both autism and ADHD it's outright offensive to paint all ND people like children. Twi, the CMCs and Fluttershy are all still better neurodivergent representation than Pinkie ever will be. Pinkie is a lot more like a preteen than any other character.
For the record, this is not Pinkie slander, just brony slander

Horseroscope style
twilight sparkle fans drink too much boba even though they can’t afford it
pinkie pie fans are either the cutest person in the friend group and/or are trying VERY HARD to be the cutest person in the friend group
rainbow dash fans read homestuck in middle school
rarity fans have taste but awful work-life balance and they often say “i’ll let you know if i need anything!” despite never realizing they need anything
apple jack fans are either actual real life horse girls or are just adults who didn’t used to be applejack fans but still watch the show as a grown up and suddenly realized how important family is
fluttershy fans are bisexual

those mlp infection aus on tiktok have been alright but heres my idea to consider:
the main characters of the au are the cmc. theyre not the lone survivors, and heres why: the infection almost entirely affects adults. this is just like a book i read in 5th grade, thats where im stealing this from.
Applebloom is the self appointed leader, shes best at foraging for food and growing it as well as building re-enforcements for the shelter (which is the clubhouse. it's higher up so they dont have to worry about most infected ponies reaching them.)
Scootaloo is the defender of the base as well as the group in general. shes the one who handles the weapons and is first to sacrifice herself for her friends to get to safety. She says its because he doesnt want to hold them back due to her disability, they tell her she doesnt have to think like that. but its hard not to.
Sweetie Belle is... not all there. sometimes she forgets the apocalypse has happened and that most of her loved ones are dead. Scootaloo and Applebloom take turns sleeping during the night to make sure someone is always lookout. that, and they can't risk Sweetie Belle unknowingly walking into the dark trying to get home.
Partially inspired by one of the best animes ive ever seen: School Live, Scootaloo and Applebloom sometimes, when Sweetie is having an episode, pretend everything is normal. Is the most they can do for their friend, who is clearly so traumatized that her brain blocks out the reality of their situation. Sometimes, Applebloom wishes that could happen to her.
When the infection started, it slowly took over the elderly first. Granny Smith got sick, fast. Big Mac and Applejack took care of her, but only a few days later she would turn into some kid of monstrous creature. Big Mac did the unspeakable act of putting her out of her misery.
Sweetie Bell was sent to go live with Rarity while her mother was sick. Her father began to feel ill too, and didn't want her to get herself and her friends at school sick as well. She could hear over the phone the conversations her sister and father had. How mom was getting worse, how dad was getting worse. How they stopped calling altogether.
A couple days into the widespread sickness, Scootaloo's aunts took a trip to the store to stock up on groceries just incase a quarantine was issued. They were gone for hours. They were gone for days. They never came back. Eventually, Scootaloo traveled outside of her home by herself, and could never return.
Once Big Mac and Applejack started showing signs of illness, Applejack spoke to cousins in other places wondering if they would be able to let Applebloom stay with them a while. But just like everyone in Ponyville, they were experiencing the same issue. At one point, Fluttershy agreed to watch Applebloom until AJ and Big Mac started to feel better.
After hearing that Fluttershy graciously took in Applebloom, Rarity sent Sweetie Belle off to her the moment she started to cough. She didn't want Sweetie to see her like that. She didn't want her to get sick either, and in fact, she probably transported it from their parents house and into Rarity's. That made Rarity angry. Her last words to Sweetie were about how upset she was that she'd brought the illness to her.
Scootaloo went to Fluttershy herself. She couldn't find Rainbow Dash, so she settled for the next best pony. She was shocked to see her friends had been there themselves the past few days. Scootaloo only managed to stay a few hours, because during the night the crusaders awoke to a crash in another room. Upon investigation they saw Fluttershy hunched over a broken glass. There was blood on the floor.
They went to comfort her, but she wasn't herself any longer. When she turned to face them it already looked like she'd been ravened by the infection. She was so hungry. Why couldn't the jar just open? She was so... hungry. Before she could even stand back up, the crusaders grabbed their things and fled to the only place they knew they'd be safe. The clubhouse.

Rarity: thinks Twilight's genuinely gorgeous, and is utterly baffled by how the Canterlot elite treat rumors of her. She's not traditionally pony-pretty, but Rarity thinks traditional is starting to go out of fashion, anyway. (its all rather narrow minded stuff.) She's the first pony Twilight knows who personally modifies clothing for her. Twilight gets her first outfit post-Draconequus change as a grown adult from Rarity.
Fluttershy: initially sees Twilight like how she sees Spike - like a really fascinating animal. It's not until a few conversations later that she realizes both of them aren't to be prodded at like her animals, and she's very embarrassed that she acted like they were. Afterwards they're chill
Rainbow Dash: WANTS DESPERATELY TO KNOW HOW FAST TWILIGHT CAN FLY. (twilight technically doesn't fly. her wings are there for decoration. she automatically floats, but her wings DO react as though they're what's pulling her. its not. its magic. its always magic)
Pinkie Pie: acts exactly the same. DOES really like it when Twilight breathes fire, though, because it sparkles
Applejack: is the most sympathetic out of the bunch. she knows Twilight is more afraid of ponies than ponies will ever be of her, and is automatically a lot friendier to her because of it. she treats Twilight not like a pony, but still like an equal, which is something the others have to pick up on. (Applejack also works with the most nonponies out of the bunch - sheep and pigs and cattle and all that, some of whomst ARE sentient and she cares for)
Nightmare Moon: gets an auto-crush on twilight because upon meeting they try to tear each other's faces off, and she thinks thats hot
Princess Luna (reformed): is very ashamed that she tried to flirt with Twilight while trying to take over the world. (still has a minor crush on her anyway tho)
Shining Armor: is so protective of Twilight, he graduates from the academy early so he can use his rank to keep an eye on her easier. He doesn't visit her in ponyville personally for a while to give her space and privacy, but when Discord drops in, limiters are off, big brother mode initiated, he tries to fight Discord by himself and does NOT win but good try big man
Princess Cadence: wants to WHACK Celestia upside the head for not just letting Discord out, like she suggested from the start. has been a really good confidant for Twilight for many, many years, and is always willing to drop everything and help her. Personally she would've snuck Twilight out of that stupid tower but Celestia kept a keen eye on her, and Cadence didn't want to cause a civil war getting into a shouting match with her fellow princess
