Rebelcaptain Secret Santa signups are OPEN
HAPPY HOLIDAYS, RebelCaptain shippers!
We’re thrilled to start the seventh Secret Santa exchange for this wonderful ship and hope that you’ll all take part in the fun–it’s a great way to get to know more people in the fandom. Each year we welcome both new and returning participants, so come on and join us!
What is this?
RebelCaptain Secret Santa is an opportunity for you to create a gift for a fellow shipper and receive one in return. It’s a way for the fandom to come together and show each other lots of love and appreciation, as well as get all your feels out about Jyn and Cassian!
We’ll be using the tag #rebelcaptainsecretsanta for all posts related to this exchange – info posts, reminders, updates, etc. (This will also be the tag to use when posting your gifts.)
The Schedule:
Sign ups are open from now until midnight (PST) of Sunday, October 22
Assignments will be sent out by midnight (PST) of Friday, November 3
The first day of gifts will be December 26, with staggered posting over the course of the following week. This gives you just over seven weeks to work on your gift!
Sign-ups for your posting date will come in mid-December.

Create a gift that is at least 1,000 words, or an equivalent amount of effort in another medium.
Send your giftee anonymous kindness at least once a week ❤️
Your askbox must be open with anon messages enabled (only for the duration of the exchange).
You do not have to be a TRCN member to join.
Finally, if you can't finish your gift in time for any reason, please email the mods ASAP. Life happens and the sooner we know, the sooner we can work out a pinch hitter and ensure your giftee still receives a present.
Check the EXCHANGE FAQ for further explanations on anything you may be confused by. If you don’t see the answer to your question there, send the mods a message so that we can clear up the issue.

It's time for our annual KDRAMA SECRET SANTA!
ABOUT THE SECRET SANTA
Each person who signs up for the event will get assigned someone as their Secret Santa. As a Santa, your role is to create visual content as a gift (gifset, graphics, icons… the choice is yours!) for your Santee and you must keep your identity a secret until you post your gift. You can of course send messages to your Santee as long as you stay anonymous!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Fill out this form by Saturday December 2nd, 11:59pm GMT
Reblog this post so the event can reach more people!
We will contact you a couple of days after the end of the sign up deadline to send you your Santee’s identity and all the information you need to create their gift. Make sure your DMs are open so we can message you!

Alex goes tAlex gets caught trying to escape from Point Blanc. Mr. Gregorovich handles the punishment.

Alex was asked to come in to speak to an imprisoned Yassen. He didn't know he was signing up for 24 hours of hell.

There was something so serene to look down at Alex like this, and the wide expression of uncertainties etched on Alex’s face. It was akin to ambrosia. A delicate desire that only Yassen could enjoy.
“Maybe I should teach you a lesson… about what happens to apprentices who misbehave.”
Alex didn’t respond, instead whatever fear was present in Alex’s eyes morphed into determination. It was a look that was so characteristically Alex.

When Yassen is offered a sixteen-year-old Alex for the night, he has no choice but to accept. He has never enjoyed sleeping with strangers as part of his work, but Alex is no stranger...

Alex almost gets tossed from a helicopter into a river in Chile, and spends some quality time with a certain assassin.

And That's A Wrap!
I think I wasn't tagged in a gift reveal, as I only have three on the blog from this round, so if you don't see your gift on here tag me or message me and I'll reblog it.
But that's a wrap for now, otherwise! I'll start contacting those who wanted to talk over mod gifts and start working on the gifts tonight, provided I get my sleep pattern back to some semblance of normal. But as long as we have at least four participants by the cut-off date when I post sign-ups in October, we'll be back later this year for another round (and this year I will remember to send addresses for the gift card exchange, I promise)!

There are two ways I will accept submissions to this blog, Option 1 is direct and Option 2 is reblogs.
Option 1:
Using this link, you will be able to submit your piece of work directly to this blog. If you do this, please include your discord @ and # so that I know exactly who has submitted. Your Discord Information will not be shared in the final post.
You can include your tumblr blog (or other social media account) in the description of your submission, or I can include a way to credit you as the creator.
You may use this option at any point in time.

Option 2:
This option is much more finicky due to the secrecy that comes with, well, Secret Santa... 😅 To use this option, you must first post your work to your blog and @ this blog in your post so that I can see your post.
If you choose this option, you
MUST WAIT UNTIL JANUARY 16TH, 2023 TO MAKE YOUR TUMBLR POST.
This is the only way I can ensure the “Secret” part of the Secret Santa is upheld.
You may use this option any time on or after January 16th, 2023.
Submissions will be posted to the blog in evening queues roughly once a week until they stop coming in. Feel free to submit both fanfiction and fanart to this tumblr blog!
