I felt like it was about time I gave Mario and Luigi an emotional support animal a new friend. So I figured why not bring a Yoshi into the mix? Now read my ramble explaining the Yoshi’s ENTIRE backstory! :’D
Mkay, so you see, the Yoshi’s used to be a lot smaller and they would just lazily roam around and eat fruits and veggies all day. But then at some point they discovered this island that lay in the middle of a giant river..
Now, something about this island made all the plant life that grew on it to be HUGE, and full of the same power that superstars have. All the Yoshi’s from across the land gathered on this island and ate until their hearts were content. The food they were eating was so rich in vitamins and full of so much power, that over a few generations they grew to be giants. And they became a lot more intelligent as well.
Eventually, word got around that this island had super food growing on it. So the Toad people started to cross the river and take some of the plants for themselves. But the Yoshi’s? Oh they didn’t like that. They didn’t like people that they were no longer familiar with coming onto their island and taking their food. So they fought back. The Yoshi’s were so big and so aggressive, that they were quickly labeled a dangerous species. And Yoshi’s island was deemed a lost cause due to the number of casualties that were had in trying to explore it. Since then no one has step foot on Yoshi’s island. And the bond between Toads and Yoshi’s was officially broken...
That is until Mario and Luigi show up of course. Naturally these idiots fell into the river and washed up on Yoshi’s island. They were super lucky that the Yoshi that found them was a gentle creature at heart, and took a liking to the brothers. After carrying them to the other side of the river, this Yoshi decided to leave his home to ensure that Mario and Luigi made it back safely.
And after returning the brothers to the Mushroom Kingdom? Yoshi just.. never went back. Mario and Luigi were his home now.

Aaaaaaaaa every year I wanna do the Draculatober but every year I am too stressed out, burnt out, or otherwise to do it (;w; ).

omg so my friend goes to this kickboxing place and last month she informed me that they were looking for someone to fill their front desk position which would basically consist of answering emails and phone calls and i was like i can do both of those things 0: they didnt get back to me until a few weeks later and the position was already filled and i was like ah that's fine ): but they said theyd reach out to me if anything changed and i didnt think anything would happen but they JUST emailed me saying that they have an open position again !!!!!
#im rather conflicted because i just secured a position at a bubble tea shop but working at bbt shops gives me majorrrrr anxiety suiddjdksj#so now im like um.....#i would much rather work at the kickboxing place because it sounds fairly doable and i wont have to interact with too many people i think#at least not on the level of a customer service job#im just hoping they get back to me as soon as possible because im at the point where i need to give the#bbt shop my availability 😬#im tempted to tell them i changed my mind and drop it but what if i dont get the front desk job and then im jobless again..... shskshsksns#im making myself soooo available to the kicking boxing place djdndjsn AND THEIR HOURS ARE V NICE#theyre split into four hours in the morn / afternoon and four hours at night#aaaaa#sun texts

i owe morosetrans my life for their english translations of 我家大师兄脑子有坑 in the first place. and yet. every day i question their decision to romanize 大师兄 as "dashi xiong"
(da shixiong was right there! even da shi xiong would have been more understandable! given that they also translated characters' names with a space between each syllable/character e.g. Gong Chang Sheng as opposed to Gong Changsheng... ah, i shouldn't complain about these things, and yet.)

just out of curiosity I saved all of my worldbuilding slideshows as plain text then copied the text into a text editor that actually has a word count function, and it was too long to even put in one document without getting an error gfhvhvh... total is 323,390, and this doesn’t count the additional ones I’m not done with yet but am waiting on... these are just the like 5 slideshows I’m working on turning into videos... e v i l
#NO WONDER IT TAKES me so long to film edit and record all of my reading these powerpoints.. I'm like.. basically making an audio book of#novel length text#actually looking it up a lot of novels are like 80.000 - 150.000 words so this is like.. maybe 2-3 novels#read audibly then edited in video and so on and do forth#*so forth#Which like . I know this. I'm aware of this. that like.... I have typed a lot of text about my world and stuff like that#but just knowing in your head that its a lot vs. seeing actual numbers is like .. oughh#especially knowing that it's all stuff to read out loud or whatever and make into videos.#If I counted all the other random stuff like documents on my computer or whaterver that I'm not actually using in anything at this point...#anyway still not making much progress on the slideshow reading videos at the moment since I've been feeling sick still and#Having Problems as always unfortunately. but it's something I still really really want to get done near the beginning of the year#at least so its not an everlooming burden task of like.. insurmountable purportions#I just have to chip away at recording bit by bit lol.#on top of all the other things. I still have costumes I want to do and etc. T o T#I wish health problems didn't throw off my productivity so much but.. alas.. my body cannot cope with pain signals and stuff well#even a minor problem sends it into Uh Oh mode and then I can't focus on anything else. i am white knuckle resisting the urge to ask if anyone wants a sneak peek at my unfinished existential horror interactive/online fiction story b/c i want constant validation but i am forbidding myself from asking this b/c i know it’ll delay me finishing the story b/c the possible compliments would sustain me for days.

so ive had the same imaginary world ive been working on for 14 years now and like... i finally figured out how to run modded minecraft so. im building the whole world in there and im just. so excited??? to see the world thats been in my head for so long come alive!!!!
