you should draw
joe hills
Is that... a joe hills?
Manipulating space-time for a mega-base is quite stylish to be honest!
Anyway, thank you for your participation in the IvorySweepArmy!

Was just thinking about it but if aliens came to earth, cities, labs, jaild or anything manmade wouldn't be the craziest to them, they probably know about the concepts of electicity, pressure, air, experimentation, criminals, probably even slavery if they developed to a point of space travel.
What would be horrifying to aliens? Nature!
Imagine how the forest must sound to them? how termitarias look like? How glaciers cave must feel?
They have no concept of birds, of ants and bees, of bears and coyotes.
Imagine the first time they entered a jungle?
Day 8301 of Prj%÷(]'s space exploration mission
My spaceship was low on fuel, so I had to crashland on earth, and i ended up in this weird place...
It seems like i'm under a semi-transparent green blanket, few photons coming through to light the area, retained above me by thousand of strangely shaped brown pillars, spreading into finer cilinders to hold said blanket.
The ground is covered in thin sheets of colors, arranged in small circles, the few spot that aren't covered by the darker green carpet are brown and mushy, as if I could go through them if put under enough pressure.
The sight is far from silent, the hum of the air is filtered by the pillars, and is accompanied by high pitch arranged in a melodious yet regular fashion, covering the sound of a running liquid somewhere out of view.
A loud growl just resonated across the place, the sound broke the melody and the place lay now silent... only the eerie friction of the sheets across the ground, moved by the air, keeping me company, the growl was similar to those made when our montains moved, but here, I think it could be the sign of a predator
[/end of transmission - now reporting to Prj%÷(]'s space center]

And here's my half of the art trade with @fishing4stars. It's a scene from her fic The Forest in Winter, featuring Legolas (and the cast which is not shown) wandering into a fairytale lilac wood with its magical inhabitants.
The scene was a delight to do; thank you for this trade!
