#Sigh......cowboys #platonic ofc #actually riding western is so weird to me bc I learned to ride english #It's sooo strange not having my knees up #last time I rode western was a trail ride and the next day my legs hurt bc I'm used to holding with my knees not my thighs #AND I KEPT DOING THE ENGLISH COMANDS #Which are verbal vs western riding physical cues #So like everyone was quiet and our tour guide would stop to tell us something about the trees and I WOULD LITEARLLY GO 'woooah' TO MY HORSE #WHEN ALL I NEEDED TO DO WAS PULL THE REIGNS BACK #Low key embarassing BUT I CAN GET OVER IT #Esp cuz my horse was a sweet fellow named Gambler #and our tour guide was this guy from Georgia and he was rlly cool and talked a lot abt the rodeo #And I haven't been to a rodeo in a long time and even then I've only been once but god I love it so much #I'm pretty sure that the equestrian riders in my area are mainly like. jumpers n stuff #less rodeo more horse shows and racing #but I bet there's a rodeo somewhere #ANYWAY #turtledove answers
