05.01.2023 (4/100) - Today, just when I wanted to start working properly, neither my Laptop nor my PC were working properly anymore. Took me an hour to fix at least one of them.

Productive things I did today:

Wrote the third draft of an abstract for later this month. I'm still not sure if it's good, because I have barely any clue how to write one... But at least the idea is more pronounced than in the first draft, so that's a win!

Did some freelancing work for about 1h, but the data my colleague sent me doesn't seem quite fitting to me. So I will finish one set over the weekend and then get back to our supervisor about it

Practiced Chinese on Duolingo

Self-care things I did today:

Read first thing in the morning and lots of leisure reading in general today

Made Berliner Brot (pictured above, similar to brownies)

Played Animal Crossing

Did a hair mask and full evening skin-care

Omg Harry would not want me in a band like that Im not cool enough hahah so i played the tuba... wild bc I started when I was like 7 and it was such an odd instrument for a young child BUT my first music teacher saw like "potential" in me or whatever and honestly i was wanting to play something shiny lol and all my education was done through school and luckily they were all preforming art schools! and like my connection to music is more complex than that but yeah lol which is also why i am a big supporter for anything creative in general!

ALSO THE PHYSICS EXTRA WAS SOOO GOOD!!!! They are just so cute! I do love some angst once in a while and once again I am living through them lol Makes so much sense that they would have this "misunderstanding" of them being official or not. Especially if they never stated it and knowing how the MC does have her insecurities surrounding the girls Harry use to surround herself with, I don't blame her for answering like that! Oh and it was so cute how we got to see them both slightly freak out about one another lol

It's my own fault tbh. I teach at the high school level. Mainly 14/15 year old hooligans but I have a group of 17/18 year olds that are a delight to teach despite the fact they probs hate me lol. Add in teaching math they get tired of me pretty quick (it was pi day yesterday! 🎉) though I can't imagine why! 😂

I am in no way tooting my own horn but I am a good singer (you would hope, I sang for a really long time. I would think one of my teachers would have told me) I just am too shy to sing in front of people lol

Ma'am the Harry air freshners I have are HORRIBLE scent-wise HAHAHAHAHA but the scent goes away quick and honestly I just keep them to look at Harry while driving. The current one i have is him dressed as Dorothy from Harryween but I think it's time to swap him out for another one. I got them off Etsy! They're really cute even if they smell bad. I don't know how to say this but I don't know what scents I like? I like the idea of florals but it's gotta be subtle. I love the smell of cotton/clean linen type scents (anything that smells fresh) and I also LOVE Christmas candles. If it smells like pine, or balsam, or sandalwood count me in. I want it to smell like a campfire without the campfire if that makes sense.

Harry would appreciate the musicality in you for sure! I bet we could pop some tuba into one of the songs! Music for a Sushi Restaurant already has a lot going on, why not add the tuba as well? It's so special music is something you are so passionate about and I think it's really cool you're into the technical side of things of music as well. I never took music theory (but I hear there is some math involved so I wish I did!) but nonetheless, I love STEM stuff but you can't have one without the other. I think I would die without music.

SO glad you liked Physics! I know you saw I really wasn't sure what to do with it so I'm glad it worked out well! It's really nice I have you to analyze my own writing because sometimes I miss the stuff you point out (like the part regarding how she doesn't know it's official/how he was around other girls) LOL Usually I just write stuff until I see fit and post it without thinking much of it outside of grammar, spellcheck, and making sure it flows okay hehehehe I appreciate you so much! 💕 I think they'll both be much happier being official now too 🤭

okay i just got done with my work day so here's the update: starting off with a preface, we're using these work days to work on homecoming decorations and our theme is video games and my class chose the entire mario universe for our hallway. so basically, we didn't really talk for the first 2 or 3 hours because i was working on bowser's castle by the library and he was setting up another projector, getting the wifi password, and putting on music in our hallway. anyway, i finished tracing bowser's castle in pencil and then  i took a lunch break and then we went back by the library to trace it in sharpie. now the library is directly down our class hallway so nonetheless cute boy could see me down the hallway and vice versa. he needs help taping up a poster on the wall so i go to help him along with this short girl. he gets one side, i get the other side and then it's all taped up. then, he says "you guys can go back if you want or you can stay here for the music" because i told him that it was kinda boring without music since we couldn't play music since summer school was going on in the library. so i was like "yeah, i'll stay here for the music" when in reality,  i just wanted to spend more time with him, the music was just an added bonus. so while our class president is trying to reset the computer since it shut down by itself, cute boy opens the exit door at the end of the hall and he says "it's so nice out" because it had just rained and we live in the desert. outside are these hills with some steps in between the hills that lead to some parking spaces. he suggests that we should roll down the hill so him and i roll down the hill and i get mud on my leggings and he fucked up his sunburn from acapulco. then, we go back inside to trace the poster. our class president goes to help trace bowser's castle in sharpie. so me and him start tracing and we talk about music and how sza is absolutely gorgeous, and then we sang sweater weather together and the vibes were immaculate. then, we talked abt what our parents do for a living, whether we've lived for vegas our entire life, and he asks me what i wanna do because i already know that he wants to go into psychology and i talk about how i want to study film but not necessarily make/direct films and he talks about how his dad works in film production and he could hook me up with an internship at his dad's job and help me out. and i told him how my parents don't support me and he was like do whatever the fuck you want and being supportive of me. then, after we finished going over in sharpie, we went to put it in our bin and get paper to roll out our backgrounds and then he made me carry the 40 lb roll and then he took it back and there was a lot of touchy feely things going on. then, we went back but i went to go say hi to my friend and when i came back, he wasn't there because he went to go organize our class closet and when he came back, we waited for a while while our class president cleaned up the projector and short girl and her best friend looked for the best friend's quince ring which she lost. then, we went back and i saw my best friend at dance in the cafeteria, he waited for me to say hi and stuff to her and my other dance friends and then we went back and we talked about how he had an interview at sunglass hut right after and how he hopes he gets the job because it pays pretty well and then the work day was over. but yeah, pretty cool day. will update you tmrw.
