y'all I am NOT making this up and neither is OP, literally go to the Canvas section on WT and click on a genre, esp romance, comedy, or fantasy, they're getting BOMBARDED by p0rn bots right now, it literally looks worse than Tumblr Live, THERE ARE MULTIPLE PAGES OF THIS SHIT

congrats Webtoons, you've now officially become "that" unsettling backdoor back alley app that promotes shovelware content and gets exploited constantly by bad actors with zero moderation, huh?

#and yes people who are privy to security exploits should definitely be concerned about this #i know it's just p0rnbots spam posting call links to Webtoons but like #there's a lot to be said about how poor WT security is that this kind of thing can happen en masse #the site is severely lacking in modern features and protections ESPECIALLY in the canvas section and it has been for years now #also just goes to show why it's such a problem that WT is for general audiences but still heavily promotes mature content !#they don't have limitations on how often a creator can upload series so there are single 'creators' with like 50 spam series per account #posting limitations within specific time frames is a BASIC SECURITY FUNCTION FOR EXACTLY THIS KIND OF REASON #WT is literally being promoted to children CONSTANTLY #this is such a bad look omfg #webtoon critical #womp womp
