We had to put Cooper to sleep today... but i would like to preserve his memory within my au.. So i am making this poll to give him to one of my au characters..

Cooper was a very sweet cat, and it was very painful to watch him leave.. he deserves the best.. there wasn't anything we could do within our reach to help him..

Okay, i finally got around to these refs for the RE AU Eclipses!

In order: RE Eclipse (damaged), RE Eclipse (fixed), Backup, Nova, Dusk

I also drew their whole base since i needed to do two sets of clothing. Base underneath. It has nothing bad on it. I also did it to practice. This is only the second time i've ever drawn their base-

Different kind of thing this time.

Not at all SAMS or SB related, but i've had this drawing idea in mind for about 2 days, and finally sat down and did it.

Yes, i play Creatures of Sonaria. This creature is my main creature. Even if i don't use her very often cuz of how unforgiving Sonaria players are, and how limited i currently am. Plus she is a glimmer. She was my first and only glimmer aolenus. I've kept her alive for almost 3 years now. Not straight.. she has died a few times, but i have revive tokens so she is fine.

Anyways.. Glimmer Aolenus watching a Warden's Nebula because that is my favorite weather pattern in the game. It's just so pretty.

Another song i found that fits a character as well as me tbh.

Fireworks by Bernth

The lyrics hit very close to home for me, and the song really fits Ember too. Some lyrics below that really fit him and his story.

"To those now gone astray" Ember being led astray by memories that aren't his, and the fact his soul is not fully compatible with them. (He's closer to Solar's source code than V4 in my headcanons)

"Find your way here into the light out of disgrace" Him seeking out Moon after he was revived to figure out where to start.

"Ignite those flames of hate" the hate he feels leftover from the previous Eclipses reigniting for Moon at first.

"So when they try to put it out, it won't fade away" Ember pushing forward out of spite, trying to get the answers he wants, and no matter what they say to him, he won't stop.

"Set fire to a new beginning" Ember choosing a new path, leading him to Sunspot and what becomes of them further down the line

"Hold on when the darkness comes" he stays hopeful, even when Sun leaves him to avoid raising suspicions. He holds onto that hope, knowing Sun's doing his best.

"Let go of the unforgiven" Ember trying to separate himself from the previous Eclipses. Trying to let go of a past that isn't even his.

"Burn all this pain away" his directives. He wants them gone because they hurt him, even if he doesn't show it.

And rest of lyrics also fit him very closely, but that would be entering major spoiler territory, and I don't wish to spoil what i have planned. This song also fits me, but i will not go into that here.

I HIGHLY recommend the song, it's such a good one!

Late night motivation is something else.

Have some cuddling Ember and Sunspot

This is supposed to be Sun's room in the bunker they work together in. The one Ember promised him from the one-shot series. They cuddle often. And my mind decided to conjure up the image of them cuddling and motivation allowed me to make it a detailed piece. Very proud of it.

Ember's nodding off. He just wanted to be sure Sunspot's sleeping alright before he sleeps as well.

I'll admit i did not expect many new people to come across my stuff as of late, but there are a lot!

Since I don't wish to have people confused about what's going on here, on my Pinned Post, there is a link to a blog that explains how the souls work in my aus.

But if anyone doesn't want to read it, the tl:dr is basically: A soul bind is what holds their souls together. A soul bind is that little neck piece that's on Eclipse, which Solar is currently lacking. Since he is stuck in limbo here, he is basically frozen in time. He isn't recovering or deteriorating. His soul can exist here safely. The post i'm talking about has a lot more details. It doesn't cover all of them, but it gives an understanding of how they work.

Anyways, imma reuse backgrounds a lot here. At least in this part. I hand drew all of it. Even the individual grass blades. I do not use the grass brushes that come with ibis paint. I like the effect the brush i use has.

And secret revealed! The animatronics can project their souls from their bodies. It takes a lot of energy though, and they can't stay out for long periods of time, so they rarely do it. This is also how the original Blood Moon escaped Sun's body.

And since Eclipse v4 is a combination of both Eclipse and Solar, his soul is... quite something. Eclipse v3/Ember also has a similar soul. A patchwork type look. Since Eclipse's and Solar's souls won't mix, they're kinda always fighting against eachother. It's not painful or energy consuming though, but it would give the separate bits a flowy/wavy look where they collide, which is why it isn't exactly consistent through the panels.

Speaking of consistency, i apologize for the colors not exactly being consistent here. I was experimenting a bit (settled on colors now tho). And this is the most i have ever drawn a soul form.

I have yet to get my computer fixed, but thanks to that, my motivation has shifted back to making art. I have not been this motivated to draw like this in a long while. I still plan to get it fixed. I literally just need screwdrivers...

Anyways... i decided to flex my comic-making muscles again and practice something new (and old at the same time). I haven't made a digital comic in ages.

It's a mini comic, but this time it's actually one i want to finish, and... will try not to abandon-. I'll post it 5 panels at a time.

Eclipse v4 is trying to bring Solar back and guess what, it involves soul stuff i have not shared yet, but it will be important down the line. In the RE AU mainly.

I very much enjoyed the episode from earlier, learning that Eclipse is becoming more like Solar thanks to the bits of his code in him.

And i very much loved this part where he stood up for Earth. Eclipse is already on his way to redeeming himself and I am very happy about it.

I just felt like drawing this scene.

I'm cheering Eclipse on here. I really hope he isn't going to screw this up.

More Animanettes!

Dusk and the Blood Twins

Dusk does janitorial work, and the twins love to give him a hard time. Usually taking some of his equipment for shits and giggles. It's easy to get a rise out of him which is why they do it. He's had enough lol. They're at least courteous enough to not make more messes for him clean up. At least, not intentionally. They're just menaces.

Badger is holding something out of Raptor's reach, but they're having fun. Dusk, not so much.

Black Moon and Backup

Backup is Eclipse's younger brother. I didn't really come up with a new name for him here. Maybe later.

Backup had played a part in Eclipse's incident because he's been jealous of him for a long while, and he is locked up for that. Unfortunately his cellmate is Black Moon. And they absolutely hate eachother.

Black Moon is locked up for what he did to Nova. However, his hatred for Nova goes past just him. Like in his main au, he hates all Eclipses. Him and Backup get into fights almost constantly. Black Moon is always the initiator. Backup can hold his own against him though, but prison staff are discussing separating them to avoid serious injuries.

Other than that though, i kinda felt like sharing a couple possible side ships in the mer au with the other animanettes.

Eclipse x Starstrike (which... honestly i considered shipping them in the RE AU too multiple times but decided against it since family is the main focus in that au.)

Lunar x Nova

In this au they're not related. Nor will these ships be the main focus of the fic i want to write for it. Just Sunspot x Ember.

My computer may have just died on me entirely. Something happened, now it won't turn on, and it rejects its' own charger. I can still write but it'd have to be done on my phone.. which means more chances for me to make errors. I will look into seeing of it can be repaired. It shouldn't need replaced already, it was only 2 years old, and expensive..
