Thank you @vicemag for interviewing me about my book Romantic Lowlife Fantasies !
Vice was the first magazine to interview me about my photography back in 2010 (and how my sister and I "borrowed" a child mannequin we were obsessed with from a local tuxedo shop to take to my Grandmother's birthday party). What a cool full circle moment to talk to them again 13 years later as we've both evolved. Swipe through for highlights and headlines from now and then

The "Dark Side of the 90's" episode about trashy talk shows (i.e. Jerry Springer, Ricki Lake, Jenny Jones, etc.) forgot to bring up this really problematic thing about some of them: parading around oversexualized underage girls.
While some of these oversexualized underage girls episodes were during the early 2000's, Jenny Jones' infamous trashy talk show used to have these underage girls---some of them as young as 12 years old---flaunting and showing off their really huge breasts, and some of these underage girls were also dressed half naked.
Maury Povich's infamous talk show in the early 2000's also had half naked underage girls, some of them even showing their butt cheeks off, and girls whose clothing would slide off or hike up and their private parts were blurred out.
While they were blurred out, it still is almost child pornography.
While these out of control teen episodes of trashy talk shows were there to help out these young girls and reform them by the end of the episode, did they really have to parade them around half naked and have these young girls with huge breasts? Why would you go on a talk show for help with your problems?
