The name is derived from the Orcia River; the valley has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. The valley is part of the agricultural hinterland of Siena, which was remodeled and developed when it was settled by the city-state in the 14th and 15th centuries to reflect the idealized model of good government and to create an aesthetically pleasing landscape. The striking aesthetics of the landscape, with its flat plains from which rise almost conical hills, inspired many artists. During the Renaissance, the area provided numerous motifs for their landscape paintings, especially for the artists of the School of Siena. Their paintings deal with the beauty of agriculturally cultivated areas and the harmony between man and nature. Die Landschaft des Val d’Orcia (Orciatal) liegt im südlichen Teil der Provinz Siena in der Toskana. Der Name ist vom Fluss Orcia abgeleitet; das Tal gehört seit 2004 zum Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO. Oggi trasferta di lavoro a Chiusi per risolvere dei problemi da un cliente. Grazie al meraviglioso algoritmo che regola i due giochini social non ho risolto niente.
