Children’s rights are human rights.
However, in too many places today, children’s rights are under attack. Enough is enough. During World Children's Day 2023, join UNICEF in calling for peace for every child.

john price who gets you a mother’s day card, hands it over all sheepishly with a smirk on his face. and obviously you’re all confused, even more so when you open it to see what’s inside the envelope.
“john? i’m not a mother?”
“no, but you’re about t’ be.”
before bending you over the kitchen table and infact, making you a mother.

I just love the irony of Time being the father figure for boys with the literal soul of the hero before he even had children of his own
I mean these hero's are almost adults and look how done he is with their shit:
(He's contractually obligated to have children after having met twilight, but dear Hylia he's done with parenting after triple threat)
Time, putting out the tenth fire this week, fed up with parenting already: I'm never having kids
Time: *looks at twilight* wait shit

do not want to start a fight but isn’t this totally normal. in middle school you’re like what 11 years old? I didn’t know any of this shit at that age and that has not made my life difficult as an adult even remotely. in particular I was shit at touch typing and remember being miserable in class because I was horrible at it and now I’m perfectly comfortable touch typing because I’m no longer 11 years old. I’ve taught several semesters of upper year undergraduates (meaning all of them were over the age of 21-22) in a similar coding/technical class setting who didn’t know anything about windows file structures and it was fine, they didn't blow up their computers or bring about the downfall of civilisation, they eventually picked it up over the 12 weeks of the semester because that’s how learning works

In a much kinder world where both Zack and Aerith lived. Aerith would wake up on Mother's Day to be greeted by breakfast in bed by her husband, Zack, her daughter and her precious twin boys. 🥹😭
Also Zack is her hot himbo husband who loves to cook for his wife. Change my mind. T_T

I know everything is jokes but if you’re going to be in the tags acting like you don’t understand how someone could possibly vote against your fave then you don’t really get it :-)

actually I was thinking about your au recently while I was playing sky and wondered how the boys might react to other, more "customized" sky kids. moth family meet and greet maybe? lots of indecipherable honking for sure. (well, the others just aren't fluent yet. they're learning)
I'm going to pretend that Sky kids can talk eventually. It just takes them a while to figure out that they can. And then some more time to figure out how to do it.

Make child protection a priority for the decades to come!
Nearly one hundred school children visited the United Nations to celebrate Universal Children's Day today. November 20th marks the day the General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959, and the in 1989. The young visitors took a special tour, got a UN stamp on their hand and attended a workshop:
[QUOTE:
"And who thinks they know what UNICEF stands for? Awesome, wasn't tricky for you. United Nations Children's Fund."]]
The event touched upon topics such as equality, people's rights and basic human necessities:
[[QUOTE:
"Being able to be happy and healthy. Like having healthy food and not having to drink water with yucky stuff in it."]]
These children knew that the UN works worldwide to help people solve big problems:
[[QUOTE:
"We read... that every five seconds children are dying from hunger."]]
UN officials marked the Universal Children's Day 2013 with a call to make child protection a priority for the decades to come.

I just watched John Oliver's video on abortion rights and it was nice to see that my favorite game of "let's see how long it takes for 'pro-life' people to admit they hate women" is still relevant.
It only took a couple of comments for anti-choicers to devolve into "women need to keep their legs shut." Absolutely no blame directed towards men who impregnate women because as we all know pregnancy only requires one person. Also, it was awesome seeing people defend the fact that anti-choicers don't support social welfare policies because "why should we have to pay for the consequences of you opening your legs?"
