you know what? i think the NCR and the legion would both be like ultra pretentious about horses, the higher the rank of the soldier the less mutated their horse is with caesar and oliver both having if not a completely "normal" horse then a horse with the least obvious mutation.

this kind of question is hard for me, personally, to think about because of my own relationship with music and music artists (which is why this took so fucking long) which is to say I love music and don't really pay attention much to artists beyond the fact they make the music I love (lmao I really don't care about celebrities, I find it quite concerning that so many people idolise them so much... like your(general) fave is just a guy at the end of the day lmao) (that being said I can understand having an influence and following the *work* of an artist you really connect to) and I find it hard to make hard line distinctions between genres, aha 🤭
That being said, let's have a look at some music! (This is an excuse to show off my extensive and exhaustive music reach and taste, so thank you!)
Dylan──they're open to all types of music but they only really purchase R&B albums! Artists like Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Prince, Alicia Keys, Frank Ocean, SZA, Kehlani and Miguel are all artists Dyl owns albums (and vinyls!!) for! Dyl introduced Kin to R&B and they usually listen to the artists she likes more when they're together (Beyoncé, Victoria Monét, Lionel Ritchie etc) They like ‘Foreign Language’ R&B too, artists like BIBI, DEAN, Cherrie, Girl Ultra, Adi Oasis, ØZI, Yseult and Lous And The Yakuza.
Shay──the real eclectic listener! He likes next to every genre of music, Rap, Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, K-pop, J-rock, Folk, Funk, Phonk, EDM, Heavy Metal, Grunge, House, Synth, Soul... even Country... Country Fusion! Shay likes artists that kind of... don't have a genre? Like Sleep Token, Twenty One Pilots, Pink Floyd, Oingo Boingo, Lene Lovich, David Bowie, Gorillaz, Poppy, Bring Me The Horizon, Afterlife, Seventeen, Red Velvet and Hannah Wicklund. He definitely love finding new music as well as sharing new music! (Watch the YouTube/Twitch channel that's got a segment dedicated to reacting to new music!! Like HTHAZE!)
Kinsley──lmao she doesn't mind Popular music but, like, the last Taylor Swift album she actively sought out was 1989 (she's partial to This Love) and Kin would rather die than be subjected to Trap music. She's very into genres like Alternative Indie, Indie Rock, Neo Soul, and R&B artists like Hozier, Florence + The Machine, Lorde, Phoebe Bridgers, Lizzy McAlpine, Searows, Reneé Rapp, Ethel Cain and Noah Kahan. Her R&B influence is mainly from being Dylan's friend but she does love artists like Beyoncé (she really loved her self titled album and especially Virgo's Groove off of Renaissance), Victoria Monét (particularly the Jaguar II album) and Khalid as well as older artists like Mary J. Blige, Marvin Gaye or Lionel Ritchie!
J──they tend to listen to music for the beat, the bass, the instrumentals more than lyrics. They like heavier genres like Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Alternative Rock, Punk Rock, Nu Metal, Grunge and other genres like EDM, Synth, Techno and Trance. They also listen to Italian artists quite a lot, mainly because J wants to keep up with the language (because their father refuses to speak it or teach them) so artists like Måneskin, Jovanotti, Lacuna Coil, Max Gazzé, Vanerus, and even Vivaldi. J also listens to anything their sister recommends them, even if it's the most bubblegum pink pop shit they've ever heard─if Bells likes it they're listening. Shay will also introduce them to the wonders of J-rock and K-pop which bend genre all the time!
Theo──a Pop lover! Or rather, Theo tends to stick to listening to the radio or the Popular Playlist on Spotify! They tend to like more instrumental artists like or soundtrack artists like Hans Zimmer, Hiroyuki Sawano, Danny Elfman, Vangelis, Rachel Portman (who was the first female composer to win an academy award for best original score!) and Michael Giacchino over anything else and they 'broaden their horizons' by being dragged to Jazz bars and open house cafés by C (and MC) so it's not like they're stuck in one/two genre's!!

i’m so tired i got like,,, 5 and a half or 6 hours of sleep. so i have this math test today but the problem is i had no fucking clue how to do half of it bc i didn’t pay attention during like,, 2 classes and was suddenly mega ultra confused so i ended up being confused for half the damn unit but yesterday i said “fuck it,” went on the website khan academy, and learned how to do the algebra. sounds great, right? wrong. i had a busy day yesterday and ended up studying from 10pm to 12am. that in and of itself already sucks ass bc i wake up at 6 for school, but the thing is i found a fucking moth in my room and proceeded to try and fail to kill it and had to wake my mom to get it before i could sleep. and then it took me like,,, a while to fall asleep (like a half hour maybe?) so yeah. 5 and a half hours of sleep 👍

Irrijar san Kirrani — the slaver hunter Izvoshra
So.
He was a Khan and Izvoshra in the past. Missing in action shortly after Kalee lost the war. He's a nasty character. He's cunning, cruel, insidious, vindictive and very vindictive. Married three times, no children. Became Khan through sheer cunning and cunningness. Sniper. Prefers long and ultra-long ranges, and does not engage in close combat without serious necessity. Despite his temperament, is cautious and prudent. Very tightly bound to spouses, trusts them and can not be afraid of a blow in the back. Because of his character and intransigence, he quickly became a bone across the throat of many khans. But he led his clan to prosperity.
During the Huk War, he was engaged in the following: he caught and sold to the slavers Kaleesh. He was able to defend his right to do so to Grievous in battle. That's when he injured his right arm. This resulted in a serious infection of mixed etiology, and amputation later. Irrijar almost died. Became Izvoshra for being smart, cocky, and arguing with Grievous every huck time. The only Izvoshra to survive the Empire. After getting to the hacks, it was bought out to the spice mines with a few other Kaleesh as expendable (Rrijar is a one-armed cripple and not particularly strong physically, they couldn't sell it anywhere else), but thanks to the same Iridjar, the ship came out of hyperspace and crashed at the huck's antennae, with no possibility of repair. Thus, a habitable planet became the new home for Irrijar and his companions.

Being at Windy City Riot then last night’s Dynamite just really highlighted how divorced “The Discourse”™️ on the Internet is from reality.
Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston got reactions like goddamn heroes in Chicago. Jack Perry got mega heat, the crowd shouting down CM Punk chants while still booing him when he did heel stuff.
At Dynamite, there were zero Punk chants. Not for Tony Khan. Not for the Bucks. The fans boo the heels—even Okada when he cheats though we *really*want to cheer him because he is goddamn Okada. Loud “Fuck You, Trent!” chants. Sky Blue got a huge reaction in her dark match. The college kid beside me lost his mind for the Outrunners during Ring of Honor. The crowd took every chance to shout “Whose house? Swerve’s house!” all night for the guy who is main eventing Sunday’s pay-per-view and probably winning the world title. Will Ospreay is treated like the biggest thing in wrestling. People love Willow.
Like, I have no idea what AEW’s financials are. Maybe they are drowning. But the actual people who watch the show are super invested in the show they are watching.
I suspect a lot of “The Discourse”™️ around AEW “failing” is a combination bad faith or bots. But the ultra negativity is not from people who actually know what is happening on the show they are supposedly criticizing.

So I am reading about Kamala Khan Ms Marvel again since she got revived in the comics (shocker) and because people are again complaining that Marvel writers should consult "real muslims" because they made Kamala eat pork or some BS. I always got the impression that her being "marvels first female muslim superhero" was more of a marketing grift that anything else and that her identity was underutalised anyway.
That made me think. What kind of superhero would I make if it had to be female and muslism? I would go all in and make her a super muslim in Taliban Afghanistan.
At day, she would be a super traditional afghan woman living a traditional islamic life almost to the point where she would be an Taliban poster child. But at night, she would put on a pitch black burka and turn into a badass punisher style ghost of vengence.
Just imagine that. You are some drug dealer in the mountains near Kabul dealing opium and meth to the poor and unfortunate. You feel hidden and secure, but suddenly one night you notice a pitch black figure standing on a rock near your hideout, watching you. Then it starts moving towards you like a ghost or lightless shadow. You shoot at it with your AK, but the shape evades evey bullet like it is made of black vapour. It has no visible eyes or face. You just see a black shadow bringing death upon you like a Nazgûl from Lord of the Rings.
The struggle with juggling her hero persona and normal identity would be a big part of her character of course, but it would be more tense and dangerous due to the setting. I imagine it difficult trying to be a female superhero fighting crime and injustice in a society which bans women from being basically anything else beside a wife and mother, and where the government is often part of the corruption. Make some people in her close family Taliban members for extra spice. Ironically, her burka costume would protect her from being found out by the ultra religious zealots. And since she is a super muslim as well, she would have an internal conflict about the contradictions of her religious beliefs and and her identity as a crime fighting warrior.
I think a character like this would be fire. To bad Marvel won't ever make something like her.
